Rosie (Rosalita) and Leo (Leonardo) are a brother and sister bonded pair originally from the naval base in Guantanamo Bay Cuba. They have the craziest backstory and biggest personalities to go with it. Rosie - a real cats cat. Skittish but will cozy up to you immediately for treats and food Leo - snuggly, silly, Velcro cat who loves to be right by your side They are very attached and I could never imagine separating them. I’ve had them for seven years and am moving but unfortunately can’t take them with me. I want to find them the very best home, they are very special and loved cats.

Story
Male, born July 2023, DSH Personality: friendly, high energy, snuggly, talkative Aaron is hoping his abilities as a cute oddity can help him find the purrfect home. He is your typical high-energy kitten, who loves to play, but he is also an expert cuddler. When playing is over, Aaron wants nothing more than to be curled up as close as possible to you. If not, he'll let you know with his unique little meow! While he isn't the sharpest tool in the box, he is absolutely thrilled to be in the box at all and doesn't mind waiting his turn for the brain cell. Of course, Aaron may do best with another cat (like his brother Ben!) to help guide him, as his sense of self preservation isn't the best. Aaron's joints are a little funky, so he bends and moves in weird ways. Luckily, the vet has determined that no bones are broken and no joints are dislocated- he was just put together a little haphazardly! Ultimately, he just has silly little walk and a kink in his tail that will always give you a smile. Given the chance, Aaron will never cease to make you laugh, smile, and cry with happy tears. If you think your home is the perfect fit for this little nugget, please apply today! If you are interested in meeting a dog or cat, we require an adoption application. If the animal has "HAS APPLICATION" listed, they are still available to receive additional applications but also may be in the process of being adopted soon. Apply for a CAT: https://www.citydogsrescuedc.org/adoptable-cats.html City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats. Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us. Cat specific vetting: Rabies, FVRCP. Cats are tested for FIV and FeLV, when age appropriate, but not when born to a FELV/FIV negative mother in foster care. Kittens have age-appropriate vetting to date, which includes deworming, microchip, and the first FVRCP vaccine. Kittens born in care to a negative mother will not receive a FIV/FeLV test. An adopter will need to agree to cover costs of spay/neuter when he/she is age-appropriate (usually 16-20 weeks) and will need to continue his/her kitten vaccines (including rabies) as he/she grows older. Kittens under 12 weeks of age must be adopted in pairs or to a home with friendly resident feline. They will not be considered as singles.

Melvie and Dubai are looking for their forever home together! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: With gorgeous blue eyes and silky fur, Dubai is a sweet, loveable cat ready to find his fur-ever home. He's exceptionally snuggly; whether it's with other cats or you, he's ready to burrow into a warm napping spot. Dubai definitely prefers to stay on his own four paws, especially if they can be sprawled around on the floor while receiving your doting head scratches or pets. He also would strongly prefer to come in a package deal with his best friend, Melvie, as they've become bonded cuddle buddies. Besides Melvie, Dubai does well with other cats-notably befriending calm cats. If you're looking for a cuddly cat best friend, Dubai is perfect for you. -------------- Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any dog is housebroken nor crate trained. Story
Cleopatra is a unique cat in multiple ways. She gets along with well-behaved cats, but likes to keep to herself, so we recommend her to be a solo cat. She was also on the street for a while, and she is very good at hunting mice, so she might be a good barn cat as well. She also meows in a strange way, either almost like a two-part meow at times if that makes sense or like she's trying really hard to meow like how a cat who's always lived indoors would meow. She also does not like to be picked up, but she loves to sleep at one's feet. She is a nice cat who never bites humans or other cats, and she does like rubbing her cheek against your hand in a loving way. She is very shy in new environments, and will want to hide in a dark/hidden area for the first few days. She likes to approach you versus you approaching her, but she does eventually and regularly approach you, mostly to nap on your feet. She also loves getting her back and neck scratched.

Story
Sweet little Brownie and Cream (born March 30) are a super friendly and playful brother/sister pair. Brownie has beautiful striped fur and Cream has a light orange "creamy" coat! Their mom is a Siamese cat so this litter has some beautiful coloring. Brownie and Cream love playing with one another or chasing after a cat string toy. They are good with other cats, dogs, and kids as well! The adoption fee for this bonded pair is $300, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. A $125 spay/neuter deposit is required at time of adoption. This fee covers spay/neuter at one of PetConnect's preferred veterinary partners. If the adopter chooses to use their own veterinarian, the deposit will be returned with proof of sterilization. For more information, please email kbuckner@petconnectrescue.org. Cats adopted through PetConnect Rescue must be indoor only, and may not be declawed (unless already declawed at the time of rescue). **If you're viewing this on Petfinder, please visit www.petconnectrescue.org to complete our non-binding application.**

Story
June and May are bonded and need to be adopted together. They cannot be adopted separately. Because May does not like any other cats except her brother, they need to be the only cats in their new home. June and his sister May were found in a parking lot hiding under a car. Both are confident and independent. They are gentle and do not mind being picked up. They would be great as family cats . June's estimated birthdate is April 2023. He is neutered, current on vaccines, tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, and has been microchipped.
