Meet Nanna! 🐾💗
Nanna is the kind of dog who can go from zooming after a ball to curling up in your lap in the blink of an eye. This adorable 26-pound Jack Russell/Rat Terrier mix is sweet, playful, affectionate, and ready to be your new adventure buddy—and your favorite cuddle bug. 🥰
Nanna absolutely loves being with her people. She’s a total lap dog who enjoys kisses, belly rubs, and curling up beside you with her head in your lap. But don’t let her cuddly side fool you—this girl has some serious athletic skills! She loves running, sniffing and exploring, playing tug, chasing toys, and even chasing the water hose around the yard. One foster laughed watching her leap into the air to catch a ball before settling right back down for some affection. 💕
Nanna is also house trained, great on leash, relaxed in the car, and comfortable when left alone. During a three-week sleepover, she settled into a household routine beautifully and was described as easy to take places. She loves walks and outdoor play, but she also knows how to turn the volume down and relax with her people.
And what about her social skills? Nanna has shown herself to be a friendly little social butterfly. Her foster families report that she loves adults, children, and other dogs, and she has successfully enjoyed playgroups and one-on-one interactions with dogs. She’s curious, outgoing, and eager to make friends. 🐶✨
