Story
Hi, my name is Rosy! I am sweet, playful, and sassy. I love swimming in the sea, playing on the beach, and spending time with other dogs and my toys. I would thrive in a home with another dog, an active family or person, and someone attentive who enjoys adventures. I am not suited for a home without other dogs, without playtime, or without walks and exercise. I was rescued after being found in a trash can and had two surgeries to recover. Even though my left back leg doesn't bend properly after healing, I can run, jump, and play, and I am ready to find a loving family who will include me in all their adventures.This dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. As a U.S. nonprofit, Hope 4 La Pawz, handles all logistics and provides full behavioral and medical info in advance.

This energetic pup is always ready for adventure—whether it’s chasing a ball, going for a walk, or playing with his doggy friends. He’s full of playful puppy energy and would love an active family to match his enthusiasm. Jack gets along great with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine buddy to romp around with. He also does well with older kids who can keep up with his fun-loving spirit. And if you’ve got treats—well, you’ve instantly made a new best friend! Jack is super food-motivated, which makes him a quick learner and a joy to train. Jack is located in Texas. Welcome Oliver to CCPAL Rescue. Oliver is an 8-month old Jack Rat (Jack Russell/Rat Terrier). He is about 12 pounds and is a small dog with a scruffy and wire-haired coat. He is a lower shedding dog and would make a great walking companion. He is confident, social, outgoing, affectionate and adorable. He isn’t clingy but likes being held and is great with other dogs. He is in the puppy play group with girls, boys and dogs bigger and older than him. I would think his breed would love to chase squirrels out of the yard. He is good in his kennel and not overly vocal. He is getting his vaccines and will be neutered and ready for his forever home soon. He is adorable. He would be fine as a family dog with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is fine with baths and nail trims. He is learning leash manners. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is $200. Meet Bao — Sweet, Loyal, and Ready for Her Forever Family!   Name: Bao Age: 3 years Sex: Spayed Female Spayed: Yes Breed: Terrier Mix Color: Black/Brown/White Weight: 7.5kg Height (shoulder): 41cm   Rescue Story   Bao entered a city shelter in 2023 with her mother. She was rescued at around 4 months old and spent about 2 years in a foster home looking for an adopter in Korea, but without success. She joined AKR in mid-October to prepare for her chance at a forever home overseas.   ‍‍ Socialization with People   Bao lived with a single foster guardian for nearly 2 years, so she naturally forms a deep bond with one person. Once she trusts you, she becomes incredibly loyal and affectionate — a true one-person “velcro dog.”   At first meetings, she may be shy, but she warms up quickly with treats and gentle interaction. She has done well with children under 13 and can be picked up comfortably by placing arms under her belly. Once she’s comfortable, she happily shows her belly for rubs.   Socialization with Dogs   Bao is sociable and gets along well with other dogs.   Just like she bonds strongly to a favorite person, she may also become very attached to a particular dog friend. If that dog doesn’t want to play with her, she may whine a little to get their attention — it’s part of her sweet, clingy charm.   She plays well with both large and small dogs. If another dog barks or tries to provoke her, she does not react or fight back — instead, she runs to her guardian for safety. She generally prefers people over dogs.   Cats   She has shown interest and playful whining when seeing cats outdoors. A home-cat test is available upon request.   Energy Level   Moderate — she enjoys outdoor activities, running, and playtime, but settles calmly afterward. In her foster home, she enjoyed 1–2 hours of walking and play each day.   ‍ Walks   Bao has plenty of walking experience.
