Story
Hi there, I am Tilina,I am a bit shy at first but once I know you I love to cuddle and give great kisses. I am still a puppy trying my best to be a good girl and most of the time I think I am. I am learning how to walk properly on a leash, when I should sit for a treat and how to relax. I am still small and I think I will stay pretty small too. I thought I would mention that if you are looking for a small dog to be part of your family. I am good with other dogs but sometimes the big ones scare me a bit. Kids are good too, they can be fun to play with. Not sure about cats, I haven't been around them to know if I like them or not.If I sound like someone you would like to talk more about then just hit the ""Apply to Adopt"" button and we can do that! To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. There you will see any videos, more photos and details.

Phinley is such a fun little puppy! He is very active and silly so he must have an active family with a yard so he can run, run, run. He’s a little over 5mo old and currently weighs just over 10lbs. . He is very leggy and lean, and he should be about a 14lb boy when full grown, so he’ll be a great hiking and even jogging companion. He’s a very curious pup and if he can’t see what’s going on, he will stand on his hind legs to get a better view. He’s so adorable! He’s wonderful with other dogs so a playmate in the home would be ideal, but it’s not required. He’s great with the kitties, too. He’s a very affectionate boy and would love to hang out with his work from home people. He’s doing great with his crate training, too, so he can be left home alone for 4-5hr intervals. Phinley is a very smart and loves training games. Because he’s such an active puppy, kids must be over 8yrs old If you are interested in meeting adorable Phinley Please email info@k9rr.org and include your phone number.December 1, 2023, 9:46 pm

Story
Meet Toby! This cutie pie rescued in Yakima, pushed out of a car and then abandoned. He is safe and sound with one of our fosters and settling in very well.  Toby is full of life and ready for training and time with you for mental activities from walking to playing games. He is smart and wants to learn more. Toby is a very playful and bouncy boy. He is good with other dogs but will do best with a playful friend who likes to engage with him. He likes to jump up to try to get your attention so perhaps very young kids are not suitable for him. He is working on some manners with his foster dad :) He is best for an active family. We don't know his breed mix, could be more than the few we listed but we know that he will stay small.  He will be vaccinated, neutered and chipped. His adopt fee is $495. We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! Story
Rory is an 8 year old Jack Russell Terrier who has been a part of our home for 6 years. We’ve made the difficult decision to find a new home for him as he’s been having a difficult time adjusting to our new baby. Rory is low energy and would thrive in a family with plenty of time to spend with him as his favorite activity is snuggles. He also does well with other animals after an introduction. He’s been around cats and dogs before and is very submissive in those environments. Rory would be okay in a home with children old enough to be gentle and respect boundaries with him. He has some anxiety and takes a daily medication for it (about $10/month) and he also has an as needed heavier medication for stressful events, but has no other health issues. We’re also hoping to find someone who is willing to share occasional updates with us.

If other dogs run towards her owner or seems to bother them, she would bark at them to stop. ▶ Leash training: She is family and doesn’t have aversion towards harness; she enjoys them since she know it means going for a walk. Special note: As a side effect from measle, has tic symptoms, weak front legs and inablity to produce tears. Due to weak front legs, may have some amount of shaking but has no problem at all to go for a walk. Slippery floors may casue her to slip some times but other than that, there are no problems. Mary's left eye has a bit of murky makrs which are improving over time. She has been puting artifical tears to help it. Mary used to have a paralysis on left part of her, but she was desperate to heal, that she overcame it. Her strong will is making her healthier daily.

Story
Meet Young Sim🩷 She was attacked by another dog at a shelter and severely injured her right rear leg and her tail. Her injury was severe resulting in amputation.😢 After surgery, she ended up on the euthanasia list, and we Adogs stepped in to rescue her. After going through heartworm treatment and possibly due to stress, she gained a lot of weight. She’s on a diet and losing weight gradually!!💪🏻 Please reach out to our Young Sim who is bright and full of love despite missing one leg. * Since she is currently at Adogs Center living with a group of dogs, we are not sure about separation anxiety and potty training level. * Despite missing a leg, she walks very well with her three legs! *Young Sim resembles a Beagle dog and has a sunshine-like smile like a mischievous pup! Young Sim also has long legs! * A lovebug who follows and loves people! 💕 * She gets along well with other dogs at Adogs Center! * After surgery, she developed a habit of occasionally barking or biting the amputated area.😢 We don’t know if this is from stress or trauma. However, her behavior has been improving gradually. 💙 Health issues : She recently gained a lot of weight and the extra weight puts stress on her remaining legs and affects her health, so diet is absolutely necessary. 🙏🏻

Story
Meet ChoRong🩷 She was brought to Korean city shelter after a 119 emergency report. She had a collar on her neck, so it seemed that she had her family somewhere but no one came looking for her. She had broken toes and tail most likely from being hit by a car, and her eyes did not look well. With so many health issues, she was promptly rescued to start treatment. After a checkup, we discovered Chorong had lost sight in both eyes from advanced cataracts. She is currently recovering from her surgery on her toes and tail. * She loves people so much! She reacts to sounds and scents and wags towards people. * She loves playing with toys. 🧸 * She gets along very well with other dog friends at the center! * She is blind, but she doesn’t have much difficulty doing normal indoor activities!

She’s pretty chill and just likes to follow people around at the rescue. Kylee is about 4 years old and weighs 16 pounds. She’d love to find her forever family!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Story
Hailing from Roswell, New Mexico and possessing a big dog head, a little dog body, and ears with markings that are out-of-this-world beautiful, Lola might conjure up thoughts of an alien experiment. However, while this super sweet terrier mix is definitely not an escapee from Area 51, her affectionate, spunky, energetic nature definitely makes her an E.T.--one truly Exceptional Terrier. In addition, her house-training is stellar with not a single accident in her foster home.   Short and sturdy, 3-year-old Lola weighs 25 lbs. She loves to walk, jog, and most of all play with other dogs! Friendly to all dogs, Lola could overwhelm one who's shy with her love of rough-and-tumble play, but she would be an excellent companion for a dog who wants to get physical and wrestle. Likewise, despite her affection for all humans and her willingness to be picked up, bathed, and handled, she can get mouthy when she wants to play, so she should not live in a home with small children. And she'll definitely need exercise to tire enough to show you how much she also loves to settle in, nap, and cuddle. While she hasn't been cat tested, she chases small creatures, so she probably wouldn't be a good match for a home with cats.    Don't just imagine having a close encounter of the furred kind. Instead, say, 'I want to believe,'' and send in that application to adopt Lola. If you want to see more photos of Lola, 'they are here!' at  https://imageevent.com/newrattitude/lola  Our adoption fee is $200 for adult dogs or $250 for puppies under 6 months old. Rat Terrier

Not good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Handsome 7-year-old Jax is an active boy, who loves all kinds of physical play and activity (jogging, playing ball, running with stuffed toys, and taking long walks). The 25-lb. rat terrier needs a lot of stimulation and exercise to quell his anxiety, which often takes the form of repetitive barking if his activity needs for the day are not met.  Jax can be a little reluctant to meet new humans and doesn't like to be touched by them. Once someone has earned his trust, he is very sweet and likes pets and spending time in their presence. However, he doesn't like to cuddle or to be picked up at all and will bite if picked up or touched in a way that is painful or threatening. He likes to sleep close to humans and other dogs but does best in his own bed. In his foster home, Jax has adjusted quickly and follows the lead of his canine foster siblings. He doesn't directly interact with any of them but proceeds throughout the day based on what they are doing. He has shown protective behavior of his food and sleeping area and will get in minor scuffles to protect his resources. He would be good in a home with another dog who is detached and independent or will at least mind his space. He would also be good as a single dog but may take longer to settle in. He hasn't been around cats but would probably be incompatible with them (or any small animals) as he has a moderate prey drive. Jax is fully house-trained and has never had an accident in the house. Plus, he's super healthy except for an allergy to chicken that manifests in ear infections and body rashes. On walks, Jax does pull on his leash a bit and loves to stop and sniff, but on jogs, he stays to the right and keeps pace well. He rides nicely in a car but doesn't like to be in a crate at all (even in the house). Indoors, he doesn't participate in naughty behavior like raiding the trash, counter surfing, or chewing on people's possessions. He's neither a digger nor an escape artist; he IS a neatnik, who keeps his toys in one place. (Now THAT's worth points!) You can see more photos of Jax at https://imageevent.com/newrattitude/jax . Our adoption fee is $200 for adult dogs or $250 for puppies under 6 months old. If you are interested in adopting this dog, PLEASE READ THE DETAILED ADOPTION PROCESS information on our website at www.
