Story
Freddy has a very interesting story! He was a local stray that was running for weeks. Many people tried to catch him but he was very scared. Eventually Freddy was secured and brought to a local Humane Society. He was extremely underweight and had very sore paws from running for so long. He was never claimed which means he was most likely dumped to fend for himself. Freddy was transferred to us because he needed further evaluation and training. In a short period of time, we have seen Freddy evolve. He is learning to walk on a leash. He is very smart and knows sit and paw already! Freddy is extremely food motivated. He is strong and working on his leash manners. Freddy has extreme fear with strangers, especially tall men. He is looking for a teen or older family that will work on building his confidence. Freddy requires slow introductions to new people, therefore he would do best in a house with not too many visitors. Freddy is being evaluated with dogs and seems to do well with female dogs and also some male dogs that are calm and social.

Hello there! My name is Evergreen, Male - neuteredBernese Mountain Dog x Newfoundland Approx. 4 months oldI'm a sweet and loving pup with a gentle nature that will surely steal your heart. My big, soulful eyes and perpetually wagging tail are impossible to resist. I thrive on cuddles and companionship, and I adore curling up next to you for a cozy nap or following you around wherever you go.I love being close to my humans and soaking up all the affection I can get. I'm full of energy and curiosity, I enjoy chasing after balls and exploring new places.I get along well with other dogs, humans, and even cats. My social nature makes me a great addition to families with children or other pets. However, I do have a tendency to guard my resources like food, my crate, and sometimes my favourite humans, especially from other pets and kids. I'm working on this behaviour and would greatly benefit from a home with love and guidance!Being a large breed puppy, I need plenty of space to grow and thrive. A home with a fenced yard would be perfect for me to safely explore and play. I'm already learning commands like "sit" and "mark," and I'm working on "down" and "leave it." With some basic obedience training, I'll grow into a well-mannered adult dog.If you think I could be the perfect match for your family, I would love to meet you!
