*Name: Lark *Age: 3 years old *Current Weight: 51 lbs  *Rescued from: South Carolina  *Adoption fee: $475 Meet Lark – A Shy Guy Ready to Bloom Lark is a 3 year old staffy mix who’s just starting his journey to a brighter future. After spending the last 10 months in an overcrowded rural shelter, his time was just about to run out when SNARR stepped in. Now, Lark has finally gotten his lucky break and is heading to New York, full of hope and quietly dreaming of a loving forever home. This sweetheart is a gentle soul who’s still learning to trust the world. He’s shy with new people and tries to make himself small, unsure if it’s safe to be seen. But once he feels comfortable, Lark’s heart opens wide—and you’ll see the big, snuggly love he’s been holding in. He’s a real softie and a geniunely sweet soul with so much love to give. Lark is great with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a calm, confident canine friend to show him the ropes. He’s still learning the basics—like how to walk on a leash—and will need a patient family who can help build his confidence and show him, day by day, what it means to be safe and loved. He may be a little unsure now, but Lark is ready to blossom with the right family by his side. Could that be you? Story
Oh my heck this little girl is an absolute sweetheart and is a legit baby seal!! The only difference between an actual baby seal and this sweetie is that you can actually take this one home! Lola has the sweetest face and the sweetest heart. Everything about her is adorable and if her sweet little pittie face doesn’t make you head over heels for her then her personality will. My favorite thing about her are those big brown eyes of hers and the way she looks at people, even those she just met. She quite literally looks into your soul. I’m obsessed with her and would take her home in a heartbeat! Fun fact, I actually did and I cannot love her anymore and I know you will too. She’s the sweetest thing! She will sit at your feet, cuddle up, sit in your lap and be as close as possible. Lola by far one of the easiest dogs I have also ever fostered. She is a 10/10 hands down. When you adopt Lola and bring her home, you’ll find that you have yourself a true snuggly bestie that will love you no matter what. Watch her video, yes it’s 20min…but it’s worth watching every single second of it and this 20min could be your future with Lola in your life: https://youtu.be/fZg7R1c0hMw?si=7rzXrt5TRvaw3lVA Lola Lovebug is a dainty little Pittie/Staffie mix with these big brown “pet me” eyes. She has an adorable habit of perching her chin on the edge of your couch, the corner of your bed, or even on your knees, and gazing up at you until you pay attention to her. She really does feel more like a human child than a dog, she’s a total “fur baby,” “doghter,” “baby dog” type of pup. She’s estimated to be around 7 years old but don't let that fool you, age is just a number and she's got a young heart with grown up manners. She's in her golden glow era. Lola is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. What's not a mystery is how much she loves her people and how loyal she is. Lola is so sweet and gentle, giving you kisses every chance she can get. Hopefully not interrupting your very important meeting(s) but even if she does, it's totally worth it. Speaking of work meetings and work life in general. Do you ever get envious of those people that get to take their dog to the office because they are that well behaved and quiet that they make the perfect office companion? Well, Lola can be your perfect office companion!! We know this for a fact because she already is her foster dad’s work from home buddy and hangs out with him every day at his home office. She also has spent time in real working offices, even man cave car places, and her calm loving offers the best kind of support making busy days feel calmer and lighter just with her presence. She is office tested, employee approved, quietly hangs out, naps nearby, and soaks up all the compliments. Lola will also provide the perfect amount of white noise with her little baby snores too. Who can resist that?! Lola loves to go on walks and she is very easy to walk on a leash. She hardly ever pulls and is sure to stay by your side enjoying every step of the way. The only times she does pull while out on a walk is when another dog barks at her as you will see in her video. It is not hard to help her reset whatsoever. All it takes is a good “no” and a simple leash correction. That’s all it takes. If you're someone who likes to go for walks around the neighborhood, explore the nature parks nearby, want a buddy to take with you to run errands, etc. Lola is the perfect companion to have with you. She loves leisurely walks throughout the neighborhood, tagging along where you wanna go if you take, and will love it even more when she's with her forever person. She’s super friendly with everyone she meets on walks too, and enjoys the extra attention that new friends always seem to bring. At her foster’s house, she even has her own personal fan club. Everyone knows her and everyone loves her. You’ll see in her video just how happy she gets when she sees the neighbor’s son across the street. He even said that he is wanting his next dog to be like Lola and specifically wants one that looks like her too. You can’t make that up, she is just that amazing. She’s great in the car too, and sits up in the backseat looking out the window or when she’s riding in the front seat. She’s your cute little passenger princess. She even does great on long car rides too! Lola is a smart gal and is incredibly trainable, she already knows some basic commands such as “sit,” and “lay down,” and her foster mom says all the time that she is a joy to teach new things too, is so eager to please, and is overall just a GOOD dog. She is crate trained and potty trained and has wonderful house manners too, never getting into things she's not supposed to be. Not feeling up for a walk one day? Totally fine with Lola! She is so easy going and loves to relax. Don't tell her we told you this but she's kinda lazy and in the absolute best way! Meaning she's not the type of dog that is going to require much exercise nor is she going to be bothered if she didn't get a walk that day. She is perfectly content relaxing at home with you, snuggled up watching movies all day. She’ll be happy to play fetch while also being just as happy lounging like the little baby seal that she is. Lola is so adaptable, it does not take much to make her happy!! All she really cares about is just loving you. She wants to be with you and to make you happy. She wants to be a companion dog. Your SOUL dog. Lola would also thrive as your one and only fur baby as well and we believe she might be happiest being the center of your attention. She does not need the company of another dog to feel comfortable nor does she need another dog in the home to fulfill her energy needs. Lola loves everyone she meets and bonds very quickly with people and she is the definition of a house hippo LOL. She would also do best in a home with out any kitty friends as well. Lola has also been around kids as young as 2 years old to 18 and everything else in between. She does completely fine with them, to her it's more opportunities for affection but just from a smaller or younger human. She is a total sweetheart with them, takes treats gently from them, and will even listen to them when they give her a command. She was evening listening to the smallest little humans that could say words. Lola isn’t bothered by all the jumping, screaming, random movements, running around, and all of the chaos that comes with being in a room with young kids. If you have kids, then you know exactly what we're talking about LOL. Even in those high energy moments with kids running around and when you're rushing to gather all the supplies/backpacks/school lunches, etc. the last thing anyone is going to want is a dog that is going to add to that mayhem. With Lola, you're not going to have to worry about that whatsoever. She is so relaxed in those moments and just watches everything going on around her or she's just walking around wagging her tail. It does not phase her one bit! While she can absolutely handle the hustle and bustle when things get busy, we believe that she would prefer a more relaxed environment and would do best with somewhat older kids. Her preference for older children reflects her love for a calmer, more laidback lifestyle. Really, if anything, it just goes to show how she just wants to be with her person. She’s happy as a clam regardless of what is going on around her and just happy to be included. Again, she’s your soul dog and just wants to be loved. She would be great in a home with 1-2 kids ages 14 and up or if you don't have kids in the home and have grandchildren or friends that have younger kids that come and visit, Lola will be completely happy with that too because it is not an everyday thing. Lola is a once-in-a-lifetime perfect pup, and ready for her forever home. She is so cool, calm and collected, a literal love bug (hence her name), so friendly, well behaved, and so much more. She’s not too picky about your home - she just wants your love. Lola enjoys being outside and would thrive in a home with a yard where she can play fetch on occasion and soak in the sun. Story
**Fostered in Lynnwood, WA and ready for meet and greets** First things first...just look at how stinking cute Jojo Jellybean is and that smile of hers! If she were to enter a contest of dogs with the best smile, Jojo would win it by a landslide! No doubt about that. Her cute little snaggletooth smile isn't the best thing about her though. There is SO much more that is absolutely incredible about her. Jojo is very dog friendly, cat friendly, kid friendly, smart, has great house manners, and has the best personality that is a perfect mix of sweet and spicy. Here are just a few things (but not limited to because there are a lot) that her foster mom has said are her favorite things about Jojo Jellybean: 1. Her adorable underbite and the way her snaggletooth sticks out which makes for perfect picture opportunities and makes her smile every time she looks at her. 2. The way she loves to love and looks at you with so much love in her eyes that it makes your heart melt. She knows how to make you feel special and make your day. 3. Last, but certainly not least, the way she loves to please her people and look to them for direction. Jojo thrives with people who provide her with structure and guidance. All she wants to do is please and was born to make you happy. Watch her video and fall in love with this sweet n' sassy girly: https://youtu.be/M9Dp0jNK4V0?si=6dy9zE1_2-6map2T At 3 years old, this Staffy/Pug, possibly even a little Chihuahua mix— that’s the beauty of adopting a rescue! It’s a little sprinkle of many amazing breeds! Jojo is already a superstar with a smile you’ll never forget and an underbite that could win awards. Another bonus to add in regards to her physical traits is that she is tiny and only weighs 26 lbs and is full grown! Y'all she doesn't even weigh 30 lbs. Jojo is the perfect size for couch snuggles, not even taking up an entire couch cushion or pillow LOL. She is living proof that great things come in small packages, literally! You'll see in her video and throughout a good chunk of her pictures where Jojo is posted up in a little ball sitting on top of a mountain of pillows LOL. Maybe she thinks it her own personal pillow thrown, who knows, but it's a favorite spot of hers no doubt. Just call her the pillow queen! Bonus points if you're snuggled up next to her and that pillow mountain because she loves to be around people and loves to cuddle. She'll cuddle any chance she can get. So get ready for movie marathon snuggles with Jojo because it's a guarantee with this girly. Jojo loves other dogs of all sizes and is currently fostered in a multi dog home. She finds so much joy and comfort being around other dogs and the feeling is mutual for them as well. She makes the best friendships/connections with other dogs that allow her to open up and give her space when they first meet, after that the rest is history. Once Jojo is comfortable, she'll be your dog's best friend and you'll find yourself loving the relationship they build together. One of the other things that her foster mom loves about Jojo is how gentle she is with their foster puppies. Jojo is so tolerant with them and does a great job showing them the ropes just like a big sister would. Jojo is also fostered with 3 other adult dogs in the home all ranging in sizes and does great with them all. One of her foster siblings is a small Chihuahua mix about 7 lbs, a medium sized cattle dog mix, and a large 80 senior shepherd female. The small Chihuahua mix can be a little spicy at times and doesn't like to play and will tell Jojo he doesn't want to play by giving her a verbal correction and she listens to him beautifully. She loves to wrestle with their son's pittie mix that comes over to visit and they have the best time playing together on the bed turning it into their own personal wrestling mat. Jojo knows when to take play breaks as well and enjoys those relaxing moments in the company of other dogs as well. Jojo is also cat friendly and is currently fostered with a cat in the home. The cats that she is currently fostered with are older and slower paced and they are caught frequently snuggling together on the sofa. Jojo has also been around kittens before and she does great with them too. When space is asked from either the cats or from the people around, she gives and respects their space. She free feeds in the home with the other dogs and cat in the home and shares treats beautifully with everyone. Jojo does enjoy to finish her meals peacefully without having to worry about another dog wanting to pick up any pieces of kibble that Jojo missed and will do best with structured feeding times. If you don't have other dogs that's fine too. Jojo does not need the company of another dog to feel comfortable or to satisfy her energy needs. She adores everyone she meets and she can adapt her energy whatever you need to be. Want to have a lazy Sunday and binge watch your favorite show? Jojo will be right there snuggled up next to you. Want to go to town and visit your local farmers market, go to the park or explore those scenic trails, Jojo is already at the door with her walking harness on. Like to have friends and family over for Sunday football grilling out in the backyard? Jojo will be your best co-host and friendliest princess to them all. Even if your guests have kids or if you have kids, Jojo really does love everyone and that friendliness is extends to kids as well. Her foster's granddaughter who is 3 years old, visits frequently and they absolutely love each other. Jojo loves to give her kisses, take treats from her very gently and is very tolerant of those toddler grabbing hands. She just loves to be be apart of your daily lives and wants to be included. Jojo's current foster home has moments of hustle and bustle mix in with moments of calm too and she does great with both energy levels. The consistent factor that is always maintained regardless of what is going on that day, is the structure and balance that her fosters set for all of their dogs as well as Jojo which she thrives with. She loves routine, consistency and the direction she is given by her foster parents and the confidence they carry. Jojo is a smart cookie and is eager to please. She already knows a hand full of commands such as sit, stay, come, easy, down, leave it, kennel, off and have the wits about her to learn so much more if you please. Jojo has wonderful house manners, isn't getting into things she shouldn't be, is fully potty trained and is kennel trained as well. She will whine for about 5-10 minutes when you initially put her in their kennel but she does settle down and takes a nice nap. Jojo is also a perfectly little lady in the car and can jump in and out all on her own with no assistance and walks well with her harness. She does pull out of excitement when she wants to go meet a person but she responds really well to verbal corrections and overall responds well to verbal corrections. Jojo dream home would have a backyard rather than an apartment because she loves to get the zoomies, sunbathe, play fetch, and has the best time rolling around in a dirt patch LOL. She turns into zoomie little piglet and her foster loves watching her from the kitchen window or while she's sitting on the patio while Jojo is radiating with enjoyment. Jojo really is a good little dog and will make a great companion. All she needs is a family that will provide her with the structure that she thrives off of and a family that will continue to lead her so she can continue to be the best doggy citizen that she is. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a winning smile, Jojo is ready to brighten your days!
