Story
*Name: Lark *Age: 3 years old *Current Weight: 51 lbs  *Rescued from: South Carolina  *Adoption fee: $475 Meet Lark – A Shy Guy Ready to Bloom Lark is a 3 year old staffy mix who’s just starting his journey to a brighter future. After spending the last 10 months in an overcrowded rural shelter, his time was just about to run out when SNARR stepped in. Now, Lark has finally gotten his lucky break and is heading to New York, full of hope and quietly dreaming of a loving forever home. This sweetheart is a gentle soul who’s still learning to trust the world. He’s shy with new people and tries to make himself small, unsure if it’s safe to be seen. But once he feels comfortable, Lark’s heart opens wide—and you’ll see the big, snuggly love he’s been holding in. He’s a real softie and a geniunely sweet soul with so much love to give. Lark is great with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a calm, confident canine friend to show him the ropes. He’s still learning the basics—like how to walk on a leash—and will need a patient family who can help build his confidence and show him, day by day, what it means to be safe and loved. He may be a little unsure now, but Lark is ready to blossom with the right family by his side. Could that be you? Story
Meet Woodstock, a joyful pup who’s only ever known love. Woodstock’s story began before he was even born. His mom had been locked up and abandoned in a kennel, scared and pregnant when we rescued her. Thankfully, she gave birth safely under our care, and Woodstock was one of the lucky pups who never had to know hunger, fear, or neglect. Now at 6 months old, Woodstock has grown up surrounded by snuggles, play, and the kind of happiness every dog deserves. He’s playful, curious, and full of puppy charm, but also sweet and cuddly when it’s time to settle down. His goofy energy and affectionate nature make him the perfect family companion. Woodstock is ready for his forever home—a family who will keep his world full of love, laughter, and adventure. If you’re looking for a happy, well-adjusted pup to welcome into your life, Woodstock is waiting with open paws.
