Story
ASPEN ~40 lbs. of pure wiggles, wags, and warm snuggles. This Staffy sweetheart is low-energy, dog & cat friendly, fully vetted, and overflowing with love. Dumped as a stray and abandoned… She is currently in a foster home where she is thriving with other dogs (bigger and smaller), is housebroken and well behaved. Foster or adopt and change her story. Let’s get this little lovebug out and into a home where her tail never stops dancing. 🐾

Story
Please contact Tammy for more information about this pet.Easy-going family manA Letter from Hector To My Future Family… Hi, it’s me—Hector. You may not know me yet, but I’ve been waiting for you. I’m 10 years old, around 70 lbs, and I’ve spent the last 3 years hoping someone like you would come along. I’ve had homes before… some good, some not so much. I’ve been returned, lost, and forgotten. Once, I even walked myself back to the shelter gates because, deep down, I knew I deserved better. And I still believe I do. I’m not asking for much—just a soft place to land and someone who means it when they say “forever.” I’m house-trained, crate-trained, and I know my commands. I also just got a great health report from the vet. Aside from a little arthritis, I'm healthy as a horse. Yeehaw! I love snuggles, slow strolls, and feeling like I belong. I’m gentle with people and can live with sturdy kids. I get along with some dog friends too—just no cats, please. My caretaker says I’m loyal, low-key, and full of love. I just need a home where I can finally exhale and know I’m safe. Where I can lay my head down and not worry about being left again. So if you're out there—my person, my family—please come find me. I've waited a long time, but I still believe you're coming. Love, Hector See my latest videos: bit.ly/findhector Questions? adopt@doggieharmony.org Apply to adopt: www.doggieharmony.org (click Forms) Even if you can’t adopt Hector, please share his story. Story
RubyFemaleStaffordshire Bull TerrierDOB: 2/20/25Adoption Fee: $200Ruby in the house! This beautiful girl is so excited to find her new family! She is a very spunky, happy 1 year old pup who would benefit from consistent training. She is a bit wary of strangers still, as she didn't have good socialization in the early stages of puppyhood. Men seem to make her nervous, but with time and patience, she could learn to trust anyone. She is very submissive, so she would do well with a dog that needs to be in charge but is still gentle with her. She would thrive in a home with a structured environment, and she would do well with older kids who could play with her in the yard and help with training. She doesn't quite understand personal space with those she trusts, but she just loves being near her favorite people and will be a very loyal dog with the right guidance. We all want the best home for this silly girl, and we're hoping that's going to be you! Stop by today to meet her- you never know, she may become your newest family member!!Please read the animal bios completely before requesting additional information as we do our best to answer the most frequently ask questions in these bios. In order to adopt one of our animals an application must be submitted and approved. You can find these applications by going to http://humanemorgan.org/index.php?page=adoption ABOUT ADOPTING FROM THE HSMC: The shelter address is 1170 Fairground Rd. Madison, GA 30650. For more information on any of our pets, please feel free to email us at INFO@HUMANEMORGAN.ORG give us a call at 706-343-9977. All dogs are heartworm negative, current on vaccines/dewormings, and microchipped. All cats are current on vaccines/deworming, and microchipped. We are open 12pm-5pm Sunday-Friday and 10 am-5pm on Saturday, we schedule our last adoption at 4pm everyday to allow our staff enough time to feed and walk dogs. We are an animal shelter and therefore are not able to individually potty train our residents. Many adult dogs do arrive “house broken” however due to animal behavior any change in environment will make an emotional impact on the animals and therefore initiate unwanted behaviors during the acclamation period. Please keep this in mind. Puppies do not have the biological maturity to maintain absolute bladder or bowel control and will require a certain degree of potty training and house breaking. Please consider the time and commitment it takes to provide the necessary building blocks for these special babies, prior to submitting your application. If you have any questions please email us at info@humanemorgan.org and provide name of the animal you are interested in, in the subject line. Thank you, HSMC Staff ADOPTION FEES Adoption Fees may change without notice. Story
Marissa is a three-year-old, 50-pound staffie terrier mix that is boarding with a rescue partner in S GA. She was initially with another rescue, but she and one of our dogs there, who is very dog-reactive, struck up a friendship, so we asked if we could take her so he would have a buddy. She has been there for a year now, receiving rave reviews and being good with everything. It’s not fair to hold her back longer. We wish for the pair to be adopted together, as they are both well-behaved and good dogs. If not, we hope Marissa can find a home for them. If you would like to foster or adopt her, please submit an application. ##2479168##

Story
Hi! I’m Yoshi, a 4 yr old Staffy Pit. I’m as sweet as can be and looove to snuggle. I was adopted by my now parents a year and a half ago and it’s been great, except that sometimes I don’t get along with my English Bulldog sister. We play well together most of the time, but every once in a while, I get angry with her and our parents gave to separate us. I do great with other dogs at dog parks and at doggy day care. I just don’t like living with another pet. I know I would do best in a home with no other animals.
