Story
I adopted Prince from the shelter in Dec of 2025. He is a sweet boy, very cuddly and listens well. However, I work 40+ hours a week, almost 10 hours/day and it’s not sustainable for him to be in a crate that long. I built him a room in my apartment with all his toys and a gate and he gets out of it everyday and chews various things around the house. He is an active dog and loves to go on walks and runs. He turns 2 in May and deserves a home where he isn’t left by himself for 40 hours/week. Up to date on all of his shots and I will provide anything he needs. He does not bark often and I am looking for him to go to a calm, loving, and safe home. He is not aggresive towards humans and warms up to other dogs.

Story
Marissa is a three-year-old, 50-pound staffie terrier mix that is boarding with a rescue partner in S GA. She was initially with another rescue, but she and one of our dogs there, who is very dog-reactive, struck up a friendship, so we asked if we could take her so he would have a buddy. She has been there for a year now, receiving rave reviews and being good with everything. It’s not fair to hold her back longer. We wish for the pair to be adopted together, as they are both well-behaved and good dogs. If not, we hope Marissa can find a home for them. If you would like to foster or adopt her, please go to www.atlantalabrescue.com and apply. ##2479168##

Story
Bonnie is a two-year-old, 65-pound Staffordshire/Boxer mix who was pulled from a shelter by another rescue and placed with one of our fosters while we waited for her. Bonnie was great in the house, good with the dogs and kids, perfect in the house, and the most affectionate dog ever. Unfortunately, the rescue never came to pick her up, and Bonnie had to be moved to boarding to make room for another foster. Bonnie was there for several weeks, and the constant confinement made her very stressed, so we put her with one of our trainers, who works out of his house. She has blossomed there and has responded really well to the training he has done. She’s the perfect dog now and needs a home where someone will love her. If you would like to foster or adopt Bonnie, please visit www.atlantalabrescue.com to apply. ##2659144##

Story
Yoshi joined our home in Jan of '25 via the Fulton County Lifeline Rescue. She is cuddly, sweet as can be, crate trained, and house broke---but does need consistency in going outside. She is up to date on shots and immunizations. She is also chipped. She currently weighs 43 lbs. Yoshi does great with sit, come, wait, and walks well on a leash. She does amazing with our 12 yr old son. Minor scuffles with our other dog started a few months in and have gotten progressively worse. Yoshi needs to be the only dog for her next family. We are beyond sad to re-home her, but we know she would be happiest in a home without other dogs. Important to note* Yoshi does great with other dogs at dog parks and boarding. She is friendly and playful with other dogs outside of our home. She has been boarded several times and we have never had an issue. The only issue is in our home with our other dog.

Please contact Tammy for more information about this pet.Easy-going family manA Letter from Hector To My Future Family… Hi, it’s me—Hector. You may not know me yet, but I’ve been waiting for you. I’m 9 years old, around 70 lbs, and I’ve spent the last 3 years hoping someone like you would come along. I’ve had homes before… some good, some not so much. I’ve been returned, lost, and forgotten. Once, I even walked myself back to the shelter gates because, deep down, I knew I deserved better. And I still believe I do. I’m not asking for much—just a soft place to land and someone who means it when they say “forever.” I’m house-trained, crate-trained, and I know my commands. I also just got a great health report from the vet. Aside from a little arthritis, I'm healthy as a horse. Yeehaw! I love snuggles, slow strolls, and feeling like I belong. I’m gentle with people and can live with sturdy kids. I get along with some dog friends too—just no cats, please. My caretaker says I’m loyal, low-key, and full of love. I just need a home where I can finally exhale and know I’m safe. Where I can lay my head down and not worry about being left again. So if you're out there—my person, my family—please come find me. I've waited a long time, but I still believe you're coming. Love, Hector See my latest videos: https://bit.ly/findhector Questions? adopt@doggieharmony.org Apply to adopt: www.doggieharmony.org (click Forms) Even if you can’t adopt Hector, please share his story. Story
I got my dog from a close friend whose dog had a litter of puppies. Ive had him since the day he was born, and he has been part of my life for about five years now. Watching him grow from a tiny puppy into the loving, energetic dog he is today has been really special. He is a very playful, affectionate, and loyal dog. He loves playing with balls, enjoys a good game of tug-of-war, and is always happiest when he is close to his people. He is the type of dog that likes to be right up under you, whether you’re relaxing on the couch or just hanging around the house. He was potty trained very early, so there are no issues there as long as he’s taken outside regularly. He’s smart, loving, and full of personality. What im looking for in a new home is someone who will give him love, attention, and space to play. He would do great with someone who enjoys an active dog and can spend time with him, because he truly loves being around people.

Story
Mando is a class clown that just cannot get enough attention, cuddles, and spins. His favorite activity is napping on the couch, closely followed by napping in the backyard with the sun beaming down on him. He is a special kind of boy that comes with a lot of idiosyncrasies: He doesn't like his head pet by strangers, walking on concrete tends to hurt his sensitive paw pads, and he absolutely will stick his football-shaped head into any bush that he can. To help ease some of the burden of having a couple brain cells, he does take Prozac. Mando's unique way has always made him a strange case. We've dealt with issues around food aggression (now mitigated, as far as we know). He also has had a strained relationship with his elderly sister. He has demonstrated that he wants/needs to be the only dog in the house, so we've decided to listen to him (much to our heartbreak).
