Story
This is Ollie Ollie was running down the road when I pulled over, opened the door, and he jumped in. Ollie is chipped but his registered owners denied ownership. I am reaching out to see if anybody feels like Ollie would fit in perfectly with their family. Ollie is a sweetheart. He definitely prefers the attention of people over other dogs. But when we are not present he is friendly with my older dog and playful with my puppy. He is very energetic lol He is house trained, crate trained, walks well on a leash, and will sit on command. unfortunately I can’t keep Ollie, I would if I could. And I would much rather he go to a loving home than a shelter. Please don’t be afraid to reach out with any questions! I only have a couple days and I have to take him to a shelter so this is urgent!

Beautiful Brindle Dog Looking for the Right Home 🐾 This sweet girl is looking for a loving new home where she can get the attention she deserves. She has a gorgeous brindle coat, a friendly personality, and absolutely loves people and affection. She is potty trained, well-mannered in the home, and happiest when she’s spending time with her humans getting pets and attention. She does well with other animals and enjoys companionship. Best suited for a home WITHOUT young children, as she does best in a calmer environment. DOES NOT LIKE TODDLERS ✔ Potty trained ✔ Very affectionate with people ✔ Good with other animals ✔ Beautiful brindle coat ✔ Loves attention and companionship We want to make sure she goes to a safe, loving home that’s the right fit for her. Please message if you’re interested or would like to meet her.

Story
Grace was found by my husband about two years ago on the side of the road when we were living in the country. She had been attacked by coyotes, and the vet also told us she had been used for breeding and was overbred. Despite everything she’s been through, she is the sweetest girl — she loves to cuddle, be around people, and enjoy lots of treats. She does great with other dogs and even likes to play with cats (although my cats don’t like her very much lol). She’s definitely a people person and would thrive with someone who can be a loving companion and give her plenty of cuddles. She does have allergies, but they’re under control with half a steroid pill daily. The medication does cause her to need to pee more often, but as long as she goes outside 3–4 times a day, she does just fine. She’s already been spayed and is up to date on her vaccinations for the year. I truly wish I could keep her, but we already have so many animals. Please consider making her apart of your loving home!

Story
Honcho is a 5-year-old pittie with boundless energy, a goofy personality, and the biggest heart. He’s sweet, affectionate, and a total cuddle bug—once he’s gotten his wiggles out. True to his pittie roots, he’s playful, bouncy, and always ready to turn the simplest moment into fun. Honcho is great with all kinds of people and does well with other dogs and even cats. He’s social, friendly, and just wants to be included. Despite his excitement and enthusiasm, he’s surprisingly quiet and rarely barks. He’s a smart boy, too! Honcho knows how to sit, lay down, and shake—and shaking is his favorite. In fact, every single time it’s time to eat, he’ll offer his paw without even being asked, just in case it speeds things along. It’s one of his most endearing habits. French fries are his absolute favorite treat, and he’ll happily work for them with tail wags and endless affection. Honcho would thrive in a home that understands energetic dogs and can give him playtime, structure, and lots of love. He has so much personality and loyalty to give. Honcho is participating in The Love Pit's iRehome program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster. All behavior and medical information is provided by their caretaker, and TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with their caretaker prior to adoption.

Story
If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment to visit with this animal or multiple animals, please email us at info@animalhope.org or call 817-984-1129 between 12 pm and 6 pm.Hello,Thank you so much for reaching out about our beloved Hiro—what a joy it is to know someone else sees the light in this special boy.Hiro is still available for adoption, and while his adoption fee is $300, we’re inviting adopters to name their own adoption fee. He’s been waiting over 110 days for his second chance, and what matters most to us is finding the right home where he’ll be truly cherished.Hiro’s story is one that touches everyone here at the shelter. He was adopted from us as a tiny puppy and spent his whole life with a loving family until a heartbreaking allergy diagnosis forced them to return him. Their baby developed a severe allergy to Hiro, and despite exhausting every option, they had to make the painful decision to say goodbye. They were absolutely devastated—and we could feel just how deeply they loved him.Since coming back to us, it hasn’t taken long to understand why. Hiro is truly one of a kind. He’s a big favorite among our staff with his sunny spirit and sweet demeanor. He keeps his kennel spotless, walks in and out like a perfect gentleman, and never fails to brighten our days. He’s in wonderful health aside from ongoing skin allergies. His previous family found that Apoquel combined with monthly allergy shots kept him comfortable. While we’ve continued with his shots and weekly medicated baths, we don’t currently have the funds to provide Apoquel. With the right care—and a calm, loving home—Hiro would absolutely flourish again. And just a little fun fact: Hiro is completely peanut butter obsessed. Whether it’s a treat-stuffed toy or a smear on a spoon, if it tastes like peanut butter, he’s all in. His joy is contagious—seeing that tail wag over something so simple reminds us just how big his heart is.Hiro deserves more than a kennel—he deserves a home filled with love, comfort, and a few peanut-buttery indulgences now and then. If you feel like he might be the dog you’ve been waiting for, we’d love to talk more.Since we do not observe these animals in home settings, we cannot guarantee whether they are housebroken.Upon intake, we ensure the following:Spay/neuter proceduresMicrochippingAll vaccinationsBlood and fecal testing (and treatment if necessary)Flea, tick, and heartworm preventionA complimentary wellness exam, scheduled 7–10 days after adoptionPlease note, adopters must live within an hour of our facility and be at least 21 years old.Do you have any questions or would you like to schedule an appointment? 🐾✨
