Betty is a blonde Standard Poodle who was pulled out of the Merced Shelter after she was caught out in the orchards, very pregnant - she gave birth the next day, Memorial Day, in foster care! Eight beautiful, mostly black pups. We have a DNA TEST sent in and expect results before they are 8 weeks! Who is Daddy?! Mama Betty is the sweetest, chill, loving and accepting mom dog, lovely dog!! No problem ever in trusting people around her pups. The pups will weigh in the 50-60 pound range we figure. When we hear who fathered them we may adjust that thought…. In the interim we are hoping to line up a couple fosters for when the pups can leave mom….somewhere between 7 & 8 weeks age. The pups are playful, happy and social, will be athletic, devoted and fairly eager to please! Of course they will need consistency, training, lots of ongoing socialization with other animals and people! Enrichment, mental and physical stimulation, and plenty of love, playtime and cuddling time. Grooming at least quarterly is a likely need/expense as well! Please think hard about the responsibilities of adding a puppy to your life, it’s a 12-15 year commitment!
