She’s housebroken, used to having free roam of the house, and loves being part of the daily rhythm of a peaceful, happy home. Loud noises, slamming doors, and raised voices can make her nervous, so she thrives in calm, gentle environments where her sensitive soul can shine. While she temperament-tested well with other dogs, she will chase cats, so she’ll need a feline-free home.Loxi recently had a benign gum tumor removed, and while it’s not the type that spreads elsewhere, it can return in the same spot if any tiny cells were left behind. Adopters should hope for the best—that it never comes back—but be prepared for the possibility of future dental care if it does. For now, she simply needs someone willing to keep an eye on the area as she finishes healing. The bright side? Hi, I’m Mabel! I’m told I’m a beautiful Standard Poodle girl, but I just know life is good when I’m chilling with my trusted people. I’m one and a half years old and 59 pounds of sweetness! I’m patient, gentle, and very affectionate, especially when I feel safe. Loud noises like thunder scare me and I’m nervous around men. Favorite Things: Mabel loves the great outdoors, everything from long walks in the neighborhood to just being outside soaking up the sunshine and fresh air. Training & Manners: This sweet girl is a very good listener. Yes, you can tell her all your troubles but, more importantly, she will listen to your directions and she learns quickly. She is house-trained when let out regularly and has lovely house manners. She walks great on a leash, though she does get excited when she sees other dogs but not in an aggressive way, more like, can we please go meet these new friends?! Hi! My name is Buck. I was picked up in Jasper, FL where I used to hang out at an old folks home because they would feed me scraps. A family took me in for a few years, but now they are moving across the country and I need to find my forever home. Other dogs might think I am a little tall but I love a new friend. I’m not too sure about friends that say meow though, we don’t have them where I live now. I love my kids. From the little ones to the big ones, give me all the kids. I will get worried if you play too rough with them! I love to run around and will get very excited when you run with me! I also love a good cuddle. My family lets me snuggle on the couch. I respect the crate but do not enjoy it. If you are home I want to be with you! I know to go potty outside and I don’t even dig holes. My grinch feet might get a little dirty though. I’m sorry if I jump on you. I do like to give hugs. I’m working on containing my excitement. I’m up to date on vaccines and prevention!
