Story
My name is TALA and I am estimated to be less than 2 years old. I am a small, white, spayed female standard poodle. I weigh about 42 pounds, I am current with all my vaccines, tests and I am microchipped. I am extremely bonded to my identical twin sister, TILLA, and we must be adopted together. We were found as strays in a local neighborhood and no one claimed us. We only had each other. We do everything together. When two bowls of food are prepared for us, we eat one bowl at a time together, then move to the second bowl, together. Our very favorite things to do together are running, playing and toys without squeakers because well take apart any plush toy to get to the squeaker. We love people but let us take the first step to come to you. We absolutely love kids and get really excited when a kid comes around. We are OK with cats most of the time but if we get with other dogs around kitty, the chase is on! A fenced yard is a MUST for us. How do you tell us apart? By our collars, of course. I wear a tan collar with a pink flower on it and Tilla has a red collar with a red flower on hers! If you think you might welcome two adorable young female standards into your lives, then we are the girls for you. We are double the pleasure, double the fun and double the love and devotion. If you met us, you would see what we mean. If you wish to be considered for both Tala and Tilla, you are welcome to start the process by filling out an Adoption Application which can be found on our website at www.coastalpoodlerescue.org . On the homepage, click on `Adopt Now` on the right-hand side to access the online application. Be sure to answer EVERY question on the application. If a question does not apply to you, enter N/A. For phone numbers that do not apply to you, enter all zeros for the phone number. If you do not answer every question, you will not be able to submit your application. Please note that we only adopt to Florida residents because we require a home visit.

Story
Hi, I'm Daisy!  I’m a tiny, 8-lb Maltese/Poodle blend girl and I'm 10 years old. My hearing and vision aren't what they used to be, but I don’t let that stop me from exploring. Now I just need to discover a very special, patient family who will love me just the way I am. Favorite Things: Daisy LOVES her food and loves soaking up attention. Toys and playing are not really her thing, but exploring her surroundings is high on her list of favorite activities. She also loves being around her person and will sit next to them as much as possible (and extra close in bed at night). Training & Manners:  Daisy is working on her house training and will need to be taken outside frequently.  Due to her vision, she doesn’t do well on a leash so will need more practice with leash walking, and her hearing sometimes makes it difficult to communicate with her. The good news is that she is highly food-motivated to improve her manners.  She is verbal when she wants food but is otherwise quiet. Health and Care: Daisy is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. She is on daily drops for dry eyes and takes her monthly preventatives for fleas and heartworm, along with medications for anxiety. She will likely require professional grooming every 6-8 weeks to keep her looking and feeling her best. Other Animals:  Daisy has experience with other small dogs and cats.  Children: This gentle, curious gal would do best in a home with respectful teens only.    Ideal Home: Daisy would do well in an apartment, condo or single-family home.  Her “dream” home would be a house without steps (although she is tiny enough to carry) and no pool (for safety reasons with her vision impairment).  A fenced yard would keep her safe and give her room for her adventurous explorations. She has free rein of her foster home and can be left for several hours without issues. She sleeps in the “people bed” at night and is happy to cozy up to her person. Overall: Daisy is a great and loyal companion asking only for food, love, attention, and patience (and creativity when it comes to communication.)  Could special Daisy be the one for you? If so, visit www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org and submit an adoption application. If it looks like a good fit, her foster family will reach out with more information. Her adoption donation is $175. ##2667454##

Story
*** Bonded – Codey and Lexie are bonded and must be adopted together. Meet Codey and Lexie! Hi, we’re Lexie and Codey, lifelong companions who adore each other and are ready to bring our gentle, senior sweetness to a new family. We’re calm, affectionate, easygoing, and we’re hoping to find a home with room in the heart for two. Codey: I’m a 13yearold Maltese blend boy who weighs 8 pounds. I’m young at heart, love staying close to my person, and bring a warm, cheerful presence wherever I go. I’m devoted, cuddly, and always ready to join in on whatever my human is doing. Lexie: I’m a 12-yearold Shih Tzu girl who weighs 10 pounds. I’m an independent soul who enjoys quiet moments, cozy spots, and choosing affection when it feels just right. I may be small, but I’m steady, observant, and full of soft charm. Favorite Things  Codey: Codey loves staying near his person and happily shadows them throughout the day. He enjoys curling up on the couch, stretching out in bed, and following familiar routines. While toys don’t interest him much, he’s delighted by breakfast and dinner and cleans his bowl with gusto. He naps often but perks up the moment his human moves, eager to join in. Lexie: Lexie enjoys peaceful moments and likes having her own little nook to unwind in. She’s independent and chooses affection on her terms, occasionally settling beside her person when she feels social. Toys aren’t her priority, but she loves mealtime and finishes every bowl with enthusiasm. During storms or fireworks she appreciates being close, showing her sweetest, most tender side. Training and Manners Lexie and Codey are both housetrained when given regular outdoor breaks and have lovely manners. They walk politely on a leash and enjoy calm car rides, making outings simple and pleasant.  Codey: Codey sleeps soundly either in his bed or curled up beside his person and quickly adapts to the rhythm of his home. Once he feels settled, he lets his human know when he needs to go outside, adding a thoughtful, communicative touch to his easygoing nature. Lexie: Lexie settles comfortably in her dog bed at night and enjoys a calm, predictable routine. She allows being picked up with gentle caution and moves through her day with a soft, steady ease that makes her feel right at home. Health and Care  Lexie and Codey are both microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and will need monthly flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives, just like any other dog. Codey: Codey is neutered and also enjoys soft food, eating well and maintaining a healthy appetite. His grooming routine is easy, and he stays relaxed throughout baths and trims. Lexie: Lexie is spayed and despite having no teeth, eats beautifully and finishes her meals with enthusiasm. Monthly grooming keeps her comfortable, and she handles it with patient cooperation. Other Animals: Lexie and Codey are comfortable with dogs of all sizes and greet them with gentle curiosity. Their calm nature makes them easy companions for friendly canine households. Cats aren’t the right match for their interest level, but they blend beautifully into homes with respectful dogs. Children: Both dogs have experience with children of all ages and handle interactions with patience and softness. Their steady, easygoing personalities make them wonderful companions for families who teach kids to be kind to senior pups. Ideal Home: Codey and Lexie would thrive in a quiet, loving home where their people are around often. They enjoy calm environments, predictable routines, and spaces where they can rest comfortably. Apartment or condo living suits them well as long as they receive regular outdoor breaks and companionship. They balance independence with affection and appreciate having their humans close throughout the day. Overall: Codey and Lexi are a bonded pair of gentle, loyal seniors who bring warmth, sweetness, and peaceful companionship wherever they go. They complement each other beautifully — one calm and observant, the other social and devoted — and together they offer a comforting, heartwarming presence. They’re ready to share their golden years with a family who will cherish their soft spirits and give them the loving home they deserve. Are you the one for this pair? If so, visit www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org to fill out an adoption application. If it seems like it could be a good match, their foster family will reach out with more information. Their adoption donation is $250 for BOTH PUPS. ##2709876##
