Story
Grogu is a sweet 3-month-old AKC-registered Standard Poodle puppy from a family breeder in Texas. He came to us in early August and is looking for his forever home. Personality: Playful, affectionate, super smart, and eager to please. He's already learned Sit, Lay Down, Drop It, and Up. Progress so far: - Potty trained ( goes outside consistently) - Sleeps through the night in his crate with no accidents - Learns commands quickly - Working on alone-time tolerance ( he does best with someone home most of the day, or with a family committed to continuing his training) What he needs in a home: - A family with time and patience for a young puppy - Consistent structure and continued training - Regular exercise and mental stimulation ( Standard Poodles are highly intelligent and need engagement) - Poodle grooming maintenance ( brushing 3x/week, professional from every 6-8 weeks) - A home where he can be around people much of the day.

Story
***Local adoption only: Tux needs to be adopted by a family in the Central Florida region (Orlando area) who will commit to taking him to his follow-up vetting appointments for remaining vaccines and neuter with PPR's vetting partner. These appointments will be scheduled through PPR, and the cost is included in his adoption donation. Hi, I’m Tux! A 5monthold, 35pound Standard Poodle puppy already dressed for every occasion. My fancy “formalwear” might say blacktie gala, but I’m really a goofy, wiggly little guy who loves exploring, learning, and staying close to my people. I’m full of puppy enthusiasm and excited to find a family who appreciates a lively gentleman with true tuxlevel flair. Favorite Things: Tux is an allin kind of puppy who throws his whole heart into whatever he’s doing. He loves his toys and delights in carrying them around as if he’s showing off prized treasures. He enjoys playful bursts in the yard, settling in close for affection, and finding joy in every little moment. Training and Manners: Tux is housetrained when let out regularly and does a nice job signaling when he needs to go outside. He sleeps comfortably in either his dog bed or the people bed. He walks well on a leash, enjoys car rides, and has a good foundation of basic manners. He’s still learning, but he approaches new skills with eager confidence, and continued guidance will help him feel even more secure as he grows. Health and Care: Tux is a healthy puppy and up to date on his current vaccines. He will just need monthly flea and heartworm preventatives, like any dog. As a Standard Poodle, he requires regular brushing and professional grooming to keep his coat healthy and looking its best. He will need his remaining vaccines and neuter when he reaches the appropriate age. These services are included in his adoption donation and will be completed at one of our partnering veterinarians in Central FL. Other Animals: Tux enjoys the company of other dogs and greets them with easy, friendly interest. He may bark at first, but once he gets close, he relaxes quickly and settles into comfortable play. His social nature makes him a good match for homes with wellmannered dogs who appreciate puppy energy. He does not have experience with cats. Children: Tux is best suited for homes with older children (8+) who understand how to interact with a young, energetic puppy. Ideal Home: Tux would do best in a singlefamily home, as he can be vocal when left alone and may feel overwhelmed in sharedwall settings. A fenced yard would be a great bonus for his bursts of puppy energy. He’s still growing and learning, so a family with patience, consistency, and time for training will help him thrive. He’s treatmotivated, eager to learn, and happiest with plenty of companionship throughout the day. Overall: Tux is a bright, affectionate young poodle who brings charm wherever he goes. He’s more than ready to add a little tuxedostyle flair to a family who enjoys a lively companion. If you’ve been hoping for a pup who looks dressed for the occasion and treats every day like an adventure, Tux may be the perfect guy for you. To apply, visit www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org; if it’s a good match, his foster family will be in touch. His adoption donation is $625. ##2797000##

Story
*** Bonded – Codey and Lexie are bonded and must be adopted together. Meet Codey and Lexie! Hi, we’re Lexie and Codey, lifelong companions who adore each other and are ready to bring our gentle, senior sweetness to a new family. We’re calm, affectionate, easygoing, and we’re hoping to find a home with room in the heart for two. Codey: I’m a 13yearold Maltese blend boy who weighs 8 pounds. I’m young at heart, love staying close to my person, and bring a warm, cheerful presence wherever I go. I’m devoted, cuddly, and always ready to join in on whatever my human is doing. Lexie: I’m a 12-yearold Shih Tzu girl who weighs 10 pounds. I’m an independent soul who enjoys quiet moments, cozy spots, and choosing affection when it feels just right. I may be small, but I’m steady, observant, and full of soft charm. Favorite Things  Codey: Codey loves staying near his person and happily shadows them throughout the day. He enjoys curling up on the couch, stretching out in bed, and following familiar routines. While toys don’t interest him much, he’s delighted by breakfast and dinner and cleans his bowl with gusto. He naps often but perks up the moment his human moves, eager to join in. Lexie: Lexie enjoys peaceful moments and likes having her own little nook to unwind in. She’s independent and chooses affection on her terms, occasionally settling beside her person when she feels social. Toys aren’t her priority, but she loves mealtime and finishes every bowl with enthusiasm. During storms or fireworks she appreciates being close, showing her sweetest, most tender side. Training and Manners Lexie and Codey are both housetrained when given regular outdoor breaks and have lovely manners. They walk politely on a leash and enjoy calm car rides, making outings simple and pleasant.  Codey: Codey sleeps soundly either in his bed or curled up beside his person and quickly adapts to the rhythm of his home. Once he feels settled, he lets his human know when he needs to go outside, adding a thoughtful, communicative touch to his easygoing nature. Lexie: Lexie settles comfortably in her dog bed at night and enjoys a calm, predictable routine. She allows being picked up with gentle caution and moves through her day with a soft, steady ease that makes her feel right at home. Health and Care  Lexie and Codey are both microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and will need monthly flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives, just like any other dog. Codey: Codey is neutered and also enjoys soft food, eating well and maintaining a healthy appetite. His grooming routine is easy, and he stays relaxed throughout baths and trims. Lexie: Lexie is spayed and despite having no teeth, eats beautifully and finishes her meals with enthusiasm. Monthly grooming keeps her comfortable, and she handles it with patient cooperation. Other Animals: Lexie and Codey are comfortable with dogs of all sizes and greet them with gentle curiosity. Their calm nature makes them easy companions for friendly canine households. Cats aren’t the right match for their interest level, but they blend beautifully into homes with respectful dogs. Children: Both dogs have experience with children of all ages and handle interactions with patience and softness. Their steady, easygoing personalities make them wonderful companions for families who teach kids to be kind to senior pups. Ideal Home: Codey and Lexie would thrive in a quiet, loving home where their people are around often. They enjoy calm environments, predictable routines, and spaces where they can rest comfortably. Apartment or condo living suits them well as long as they receive regular outdoor breaks and companionship. They balance independence with affection and appreciate having their humans close throughout the day. Overall: Codey and Lexi are a bonded pair of gentle, loyal seniors who bring warmth, sweetness, and peaceful companionship wherever they go. They complement each other beautifully — one calm and observant, the other social and devoted — and together they offer a comforting, heartwarming presence. They’re ready to share their golden years with a family who will cherish their soft spirits and give them the loving home they deserve. Are you the one for this pair? If so, visit www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org to fill out an adoption application. If it seems like it could be a good match, their foster family will reach out with more information. Their adoption donation is $250 for BOTH PUPS. ##2709876##
