Well she is ready to begin the search for her forever home.  Bellamy came in malnourished and unsocialized from living in a crate in an apartment. We’ve learned Bellamy is a smart, energetic, and loving dog. We've also learned through a DNA test, Bellamy is a true Poodle, not a golden retriever mix. But that being said grooming will be a very important part of her lifestyle. Her poodle hair will need to be groomed every 3 to 4 weeks, and brushing daily is a must!!   She has come a long way from who she was when she first came into rescue. Thanks to foster Kristy she has learned how to be a beloved pet! When Bellamy first came in, she showed very minor signs of food aggression. We think this was due to her being very malnourished. Since then, she has been crated when it is time to eat and there has been no issues at all. It is important to note that Bellamy will most likely be on Royal Canaan GI food for the rest of her life. Without the specific type of food, her stool get soft and diarrhea like.    Bellamy walks great on a gentle leader leash and walks several miles a day with her foster! Bellamy is also learning sit and lay down with other basic commands. She is proving to be a very smart girl! She is also fully housebroken!   Bellamy is crate trained for sleeping and does very well with that. She loves to play fetch and tug of war. She plays great dogs and is very dog friendly. Being a poodle, she is very vocal while playing, but she is not too rough. As much as she loves playing, she is also content just being a lap dog on the sofa.    Bellamy will need a fully fenced backyard for space to run and play. Piper is a doodle mix, (Standard Poodle & possible Schnauzer) She is the prefect package of fun and relaxation! She loves her humans and will be your shadow, but also loves to initiate play with her foster fur siblings! She is the perfect little cuddle buddy on the couch or curled up with you in bed snuggling all night.  It’s hard to believe, but Piper came into rescue from a sad hoarding situation. But, you would never know it today! She has had time to decompress and get a taste of the good life……. and she is loving EVERY moment! She is ready to win your heart (which will not take much effort on her part!) and be the best girl in her new forever home!  Piper is approximately 50 lbs and has a calm, gentle, social , and lovable temperament. She is an awesome little lady with so much love to give! She is truly is a black beauty (with a few little spots of white) and with the most precious curly Q tail! She has lived with and is great with other dogs (big and small). Piper knows her name and might really enjoy keeping it!  Piper is spayed and up-to-date on all shots. In foster, Piper has not been around children. But foster parents think she would do well with older respectful children.  Piper is mostly potty trained and has only had a couple potty accidents. She is so gentle and takes treats with grace and is able to “sit” for them! She is doing great with foster parents and foster fur siblings guidance.  Piper is such a good girl and since being brought into rescue, she has not been in a create at all! She is so sweet and has not chewed on or destroyed any thing! And that’s being left out free in the house 24/ 7!  If that’s not a good girl…… we don’t know what is!   She has shown interest in playing ball and is learning to play with toys. A house with a fenced in yard, would be fantastic for her. Sweet, gentle Lilah This beautiful girl joined us after being part of a group of 10 dumped dogs. Our guess was that she is a Labradoodle, however, based on the DNA of another dog dumped with her, she could be a Standard Poodle & Giant Schnauzer mix. Whatever she is, she's AMAZING! Lilah is truly a DOG'S DOG She lives for her foster dog siblings. Does your dog love to wrestle and chase other dogs? That's Lilah's favorite! She seems like she was made to run and is the happiest when she's playing rough with her friends outside. She can still be nervous at times, so these are firm requirements for her: Another playful dog (the more the merrier!) 6' fenced yard No kids Lilah is very gentle on a leash, house-trained, crate-trained and can be left loose all day without any accidents or destroying anything. She has not been cat tested, but would most likely be gentle with a cat. She is nervous of people and a bit of a flight risk, so she may take more than one meet & greet before going home with someone. I am a Labradoodle that's guesstimated to be about 1.5 years.old. I was picked up as a stray in the Orlando area with what is believed to be my sister, Reva. The fosters tried so hard to find our owners, but nobody came for us, so they reached out to Love4Paws to help us find new homes! While I love my sister (we love to play), I am not bonded to her and can be adopted independently. I would like to have another young high energy dog in the home though, or else an opportunity to play with other dogs off leash a few times a week to help burn my energy. Admittedly, I do not have the best manners. I don't remember my previous owners, but they did not spend any time training me. But I am super sweet and anxious to learn boundaries and commands. I just don't know any yet. I have dug out of a fenced area a couple of times, so I would need to be supervised when outside, and again, with another dog. I am housetrained and crate trained, and walk well on a leash. I would make a great addition to a family looking to add a young, active dog to their home, but with the understanding that I do have grooming requirements to keep my beautiful coat in tip top condition. I have two young, energetic and friendly standard poodles that I am no longer able to care for as I am no longer able to care for myself and therefore, these dogs need a good home. Both dogs are well socialized and went to the dog park daily. However, I have not done a good job house training them. They did their business on my liana. I think both dogs are smart enough that they could easily be house trained by an experienced dog person with a fenced in yard - plus they are not yet even 2 years old.
