Hey! I'm Maxine!I was one of the lucky ones! You see, I was a throw away from a backyard breeder   Since he couldn't figure out if it was me or my mate, Moe, who didn't want to breed, he let us both go   So, we will never be used for someone to make money off of, but we will live in a home where we can be loved and snuggle our people   Which is one of our favorite things to do... SNUGGLE!! YOU get a SNUGGLE, and YOU get a SNUGGLE! yep, you read that right... I'll snuggle anybody who'll let me snuggle   But, I also love to run and play  I'm a goofy girl!   Moe and I both had to be shaved naked since our former owner did care to take proper care of us. Our fuss was completely matted, but now our coats can grow and be clean and beautiful   Her hair is growing out and she looks more like a fuzzy duck and less like a plucked chicken. She will be a gorgeous little standard poodle when her coat is fully grown out and grooming will be a must.  Beautiful long eyelashes on beautiful brown eyes. They will continue to become more adorable with additional weight gain.    Age? 2 year old   Favorite activity? Playing with her foster brothers and sisters   Crate Trained? Yes. Sleeps like a baby.    Potty-training- I’m doing great in potty training.  How does she do with kids? I’m such a gentle soul but I do ever so gently jump up for some loving.    How does she do with other dogs? She loves other dogs.  She loves playing with everybody.    How does he do with cats? She’s not a huge fan of cats.       Is she Hypoallergenic? She is a pure breed poodle.    How big will she get? She weighed 38lbs while at the vet, but she needs to put on some weight.    Training? She’s a smart girl, so she could go in any direction.  Maxine is learning “Leave it” when too interested in the cats. She is learning “wait” and “go ahead” for feeding time, “wait” for in and out of doors with a leash on, up and down stairs beside a person, and walking more slowly and in a less overly excited manner.      She’s looking for a home that will love her snuggles as much as she loves giving them. A home that will give her lots of exercise and let her play with all the toys!   What's included in her adoption fee?  Her adoption fee is $450 and includes each animal being current on age appropriate vaccinations including DHPPL, bordetella, influenza, rabies, and boosters when appropriate. De-wormed for any internal parasites (round worms, hook worms, tape worms and whipworms), spayed/neutered and micro-chipped. Each of our dogs also receive flea and heartworm medication every month.   We look to place our dogs in homes where they are loved, allowed on furniture and treated like family so please do not apply if you are looking for an "outside dog" or if you have any dogs who live outside only. She’s a young girl so for the safety of all involved, we want you to consider this when applying to adopt. If you're looking for a dog who will keep you warm at night or snuggled by your side while watching TV, one who will enjoy playing in the yard, or one who’ll enjoy going and doing whatever the day finds, this may be the girl for you. Maxine’s wish list consists of an inside forever home. A home with lots of toys and pet parents who understand the time commitment that a new dog requires. WAIT.... STOP SCROLLING... You don't want to miss the best dog EVER! Moe is an amazing standard poodle who came to us with his mate after one or the other wouldn't breed, but we are so glad he did!  He's now safe and will never be subjected to that life... The life of never being loved and only used to make money. In a perfect world, we would never see this kind of situation.  Even after being locked in a kennel and only let out to mate, Moe has so much love to give.  He wants to be snuggled on the bed, the couch, or wherever his person is.  He is a little shy around men but will warm up.  In my home, he is glued to my side at all times,  When I get ready for the day, he can be found watching from the bed or laid by my feet.  He will allow my husband to love and cuddle him if I'm not around, but would rather to snuggle me.. this makes me think his breeder ( who was a man) wasn't always lending a loving hand. BUT, he is still so willing to love! It's so amazing to see a dog who was so broken be so willing to love anybody who will love him back.   Due to his hair being fully matted when he arrived to us, he was immediately taken to the groomer where he was shaved.  He was a perfect angel while being groomed! Age- They have him listed as a year old, but I think he may be closer to 2. Weight? 35lbs.  He's a little guy. Favorite activity?  He really just wants to be loved and snuggled.    Crate Trained? we are learning to love our crate and is doing amazing well.     Potty-training- He was still in tact when he got to us since he was to be used to breeding.  He had never been allowed in a house, but he is learning when and were to do his business.. and he's doing amazing!  I'd say we are 90% house trained.. How does he do with kids?  He will be an amzing member of any household.  I would put him with older kids since he does just up ( with extreamly soft paws- meaning he's very gentle) to give a hug around the waist and get all the loving his little heart can soak in.   How does he do with other dogs? Moe does great with other dogs.  He's a little guy who just wants to play, but he'd rather be getting some love from his people.  How does he do with cats? He has not tried to bother the cat in the foster home.  He walks right past her.    Is he Hypoallergenic? He is a pure breed poodle! How big will he get? BP was hit by a car before he came into rescue. He had a broken pelvis and broken back leg. He has healed but sometimes has issues using the bathroom. He has lost some feeling in his rear end. He’s very sweet energetic puppy nonetheless.  ##1633574##

Meet Parker! Parker is a stunning 3 1/2 year old apricot Standard Poodle (65lbs) with so much joy to give a family. Parker is a medium energy guy who enjoys walks and car rides but mostly snuggling. Full body cuddles are his specialty. You will never have cold feet again!  Parker is a sensitive, intelligent guy who has deep affection for his family and committed to be your full time partner/shadow. If you shut him out…well he will just open the door knob. (He is just that smart) Parker does great with chickens, cats (even crazy ones), and smaller dogs. He does need slow introductions to large dogs. He generally finds a way to get along with anyone.  Parker is fully house trained, great with grooming, is crate trained (though prefers to free roam), and walks like a dream on the leash. Parker will need to go to a home with a FENCED YARD! NO ELECTRIC FENCE! Please do not apply unless you meet this requirement.  Parker will need someone dedicated to his grooming, both regular professional sessions and daily upkeep. He does promise to shower you with love and protection as a thank you for keeping him looking his best.
