Story
Jack will be 2 years old July 2025 He is full grown and currenlty about 80 lbs but skinny. He will probably be closer to 90-100 lbs at a good healthy weight. He is a big boy!  Jack is a large boy and he did not get any training as a young puppy, so now he is a large boy with lots of puppy stuff we are working through. He is new to crate training. With crate training, we are working on house training, leash walking  and basic manners (ie not jumping up on people) . Don't get me wrong, Jack is an amazing Mutt. He has sooo much potential. He just needs someone strong, disciplined and willing to work with him. Get him on a good predicatable routine/schedule. Jack is very treat motivated. He so enjoys simple praising "good boy, good boy."  He is soooo excited to have people spending time with him. He will jump up to give you a hug, but knock you over. with his excitement.  His perfect home would have other dogs he could play with, a fenced in yard  to run around in and a big cozy bed inside he can rest during the day. Crate training is a must until he has a little more training under his belt.  Unsure about cats. We are told that he loves kids, but keep in mind he is still learning manners and would probably knock over a young kid with his large size.  He is a doodle mix so grooming every 4-6 weeks is a must! and being a large dog, that can get expensive. PLEASE! make sure to budget that into your cost. This boy can also eat! He is currenlty on a large breed puppy food to gain some weight. He needs a good bit of food to substain his large size.  Being part mixed breed , we canNOT say that  he is hypoallergenic. If you have dog allergies, please do not apply! adoption fee $300 includes neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworms. To fill out an application visit https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/33868/generic ##2378599##

Story
Meet Pierce! Pierce and his siblings were found at a Metro Atlanta area fire house. They were within a fenced area when they were found, so it was obvious someone had intentionally dumped them - they couldn't have gotten in there on their own. After doing DNA on one of the siblings, we know that these guys are 50% poodle, but the other 50% is a whole mixture of a lot of breeds so these guys are NOT allergy friendly   Pierce is about 10 months old and around 65 lbs. He's great with other medium and large size dogs but he does have a bit of a prey drive, so he will not be a good fit for homes with cats or small dogs. His leaps of joy when he arrived at his foster home and realized he was safe for the first time were beyond priceless!   Pierce is looking for a home experienced with doodle type breeds and with another adult dog in the home. Does that sound like you? Email adrienne@rescuemega.org or fill out an adoption application on our website- www.rmgdogs.org ##2269516##

Story
Calling All Poodle Lovers Taye was an owner surrenders in rural Upson County GA along with a senior Standard Poodle, a poodle mix puppy (Tate's son perhaps?) and a GSD.  Tate is a 4-5 yr old purebred Standard Poodle. He was 51 lbs at his vet visit earlier in the week but this skinny boy should ideally be closer to 60 lbs. Tate is a calm and loving boy who is great with all dogs, no matter their size, and cats. As much as Tate likes other dogs, he really is a "people person" and would be just fine as an only fur child soaking up all the love from the humans in the home! He's looking for a tried and true poodle person to become his new BFF.  He’s truly just the most amazing guy!  Mister Tate isn’t quite ready to join his new family yet. He’s had most of his vetting but does still need to be neutered. We would absolutely love to have the perfect family ready and waiting for him though!  Interested in becoming a pre-approved adopter for Tate? Email adrienne@rescuemega.org or fill out an adoption application on our website- www.rmgdogs.org PLEASE NOTE: Previous first hand ownership experience with purebred poodles is a STRICT requirement to adopt Tate. No exceptions will be allowed  ##2374766##

Story
Oreo is an approximately 1 year old, 47 lb standard poodle. Oreo loves being around his foster family. He has a curious and playful personality. Oreo loves all humans and thinks that every dog he meets will be his playmate. Oreo likes to be near his humans but is not needy. Oreo loves to be near his foster dog, brothers, and sisters and will cry if separated. He will cry if he is not sleeping near or touching his foster dog brothers and sisters at night. Oreo is not crate-trained. Oreo loves leash walks, playing with his toys, riding in the car, and running in his foster dad’s fenced backyard. Oreo has been trained to walk with a Gentle Leader. Oreo’s foster dad nicknamed him ‘Houdini’ because Oreo is an escape artist. He has crawled under cars and fences. Oreo needs to have toys surrounding him at all times to keep him busy because he is still a puppy. Oreo is being trained to respect his foster family’s home because he is very curious and likes to get into trash cans. Oreo is great with all other animals, including chickens and cats, but can be too playful and scare his foster cat sister. Oreo is a poodle, so that he will require frequent grooming. Oreo is a special boy. At some point in his early life, his tail was broken, and his lower back was injured. Because of this, Oreo will require a very special family who can provide the extra care that Oreo requires. Oreo cannot move, wag, or lift his tail. His broken tail causes his poop sometimes to get stuck. He has been trained to allow his foster dad to help keep his back end clean with wet wipes and frequent washings. Because Oreo’s lower back and sacrum were injured, he came to Orphan Annie with frequent intermittent fecal incontinence. Orphan Annie has provided supplemental care, including chiropractic, massage, and acupuncture. The extra care has reduced his fecal incontinence by at least 90%, and he only has occasional fecal incontinence. He is on a weight management diet to keep his weight under 50 lbs and is also on a joint supplement to help with his back injury. To adopt Oreo, we require a fenced yard and another young, playful dog. His adoption fee is $350, which includes his shots up-to-date, microchipping, neuter, and heartworm testing. Story
Hello! My name is GoTeddy! My brother, Luki, and I are best buddies! We love to explore, play, wrestle, go on car rides, and snuggle! I am 6 years old and Luki is 4 years old. When not out on an adventure we do not mind chilling on the couch with our humans. We both have great house manners including being potty trained and only chewing on our toys. I get along with everyone and other dogs. If you want to play, I am your guy. I always love a good game of keep away with the rope.    If you think I am cute, you should also look up my brother Luki. He is equally as cute. (But don't tell him I said that, it is our little secret). We would love to be adopted together.   An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.          May 24, 2025, 8:05 pm
