Hi everyone! My name is Misty, and I’ve been told I’m the most adorable scruffy little lady around—if I do say so myself! I’m still all puppy! I’m learning how to be a confident girl and the best bestie you could ever ask for. My foster mom says I’m doing great with training, especially when there’s cheese involved (yum!). Right now, we’re working on house training, leash walking, and keeping all four paws on the ground—turns out jumping isn’t always appreciated, who knew? I absolutely love playing chase with other dogs my size, and zooming around the yard is basically my favorite thing in the world. I'm a doodle-type gal, so please know that my beautiful scruffy coat needs regular grooming—spa days are a must to keep me looking and feeling my best, since my fur can mat easily. If you're ready for fun, cuddles, and a little bit of chaos wrapped up in cuteness, I might just be your girl!We do not have a facility for you to visit. You can also find a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10-day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fees are listed on our website and cover the cost of the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. Most dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers so there is often very little known about their history or current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners.
