Story
🐾 Meet Penny & Pat — The Perfectly Balanced Pair 🐾 Penny and Pat are an incredibly special duo — both highly intelligent, beautifully mannered, and a true testament to what well-loved, well-trained dogs can be. These two have been raised with structure and consistency, and it shows in everything they do. They are fully potty trained and accustomed to using a dog door in a fenced yard, allowing them to come and go independently throughout the day. They have excellent house manners, respond reliably to basic commands, and are overall very obedient and easy to live with. They also free-feed responsibly, maintaining healthy eating habits with access to food and water. 💛 Penny is the affectionate heart of the pair. She absolutely loves being close to her people and soaking up attention. She can get a little jealous at times, but it comes from a place of love. Her personality leans more relaxed and laid-back, making her the perfect companion for quiet moments and cozy days. 🎾 Pat is calm, steady, and wonderfully independent. He enjoys a good game of fetch but is otherwise very easygoing and low-maintenance. While he’s not overly affectionate (you might get the occasional kiss!), his gentle, well-behaved nature makes him an incredibly easy dog to have in the home. Together, they balance each other beautifully — offering both companionship and calm, structured energy. Their intelligence, focus, and temperament could even make them excellent candidates for service-type work or advanced training environments. 🏡 Ideal Home: Penny and Pat must be placed in a home with no children, as this is essential for their comfort and overall well-being. They would thrive in a calm, adult-only environment where their routine and structure can continue. 📍 Located in Deckerville, Michigan These two are truly something special — loyal, steady, and ready to bring the right home a pair of companions unlike any other. 💛🐾 Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HPH/Dog

Story
Meet Hamilton! Hamilton is a 35lb Poodle (a little too big for a miniature, a little too compact for a standard—basically the perfect in-between!) born on 10/28/2023. This handsome, well-loved boy is searching for a new beginning after being heartbreakingly surrendered when his family moved and could no longer care for him. Originally purchased from Family Puppy for $4,000, Hamilton has had a great foundation in life. He is a sweet, social, and happy boy who truly enjoys being around people and other dogs. He has even completed training through Sit Means Sit and earned his AKC STAR Puppy award, showing just how smart and eager to learn he is! Hamilton is a fun-loving guy with a playful spirit. He enjoys toys, thrives on interaction, and has a good understanding of house manners. He is not destructive and settles nicely when given proper exercise and engagement. Like many young dogs, he does get excited and may still jump up to greet you, but it’s all out of love and enthusiasm. He has done well with other dogs and would likely enjoy a canine companion, especially one with a similar energy level. He has shown no interest in cats and has done well with dog-savvy children who understand respectful interactions. Hamilton is used to having a fenced yard to run and relieve himself, and this would be ideal for him moving forward. While he has had professional training, he will still need continued guidance - particularly with leash manners, as he can pull on walks. He has had off-leash training, but it will be important for him to build a strong bond with his new family before relying on recall. As a Poodle, Hamilton will require regular grooming to keep his coat healthy and looking sharp—he’s currently rocking a pretty fancy Poodle-doo! He can also be a bit vocal at times, which may not make him the best fit for apartments or condos. He is also not a good candidate for a tether system, as he thrives on companionship and being part of the family. Hamilton is looking for an active, committed family who will continue his training, provide him with structure, and most importantly, give him the love and stability he deserves. This boy has so much to offer—he’s ready to leave the past behind and start his next chapter with a family who will love him furever. Hamilton is:Current on Bordetella, Distemper, and RabiesDewormedHeartworm Tested: NegativeReceiving Heartworm and Flea PreventionMicrochippedNeuteredADOPTION FEE: $400 IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS PET, PLEASE COMPLETE THE APPROPRIATE APPLICATION FOUND ON OUR WEBSITE HTTP://FUREVERTAILS.COM. Unfortunately, at this time we are not currently adopting outside of the state of MI. We process applications ONLY - there is no guarantee that you will get a response to an inquiry. Many of the animals in our foster program come to us with limited or unknown histories. We make every effort to evaluate each animal’s temperament and behavior, including testing their interactions with other dogs, cats, and children (defined as individuals under the age of 18, when available). However, every animal is unique—just as every child and household environment is different. While we strive to set both our foster animals and adoptive families up for success through thorough assessments and transparent communication, **we cannot guarantee any specific behavioral outcome**. Animals can be unpredictable by nature, and behavior may change in new environments or over time. By proceeding with adoption or foster placement, applicants acknowledge and accept this inherent risk and agree that no guarantees, either expressed or implied, are made regarding the temperament or behavior of any animal placed through our program. FUREVER TAILS IS A NON-PROFIT, NO-KILL, FOSTER HOME BASED ANIMAL RESCUE BASED OUT OF OAKLAND TOWNSHIP, MI. OUR FOSTER ANIMALS ARE LIVING IN FOSTER HOMES AND TREATED LIKE FAMILY UNTIL THEY FIND THEIR OWN FUREVER FAMILIES. OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE. ADOPTION FEES ARE NECESSARY TO HELP US COVER VETTING COSTS FOR OUR RESCUED ANIMALS. ##2707305##

Story
Meet Cota (Circuit of the Americas) Named after one of the most dynamic tracks on the calendar, COTA is all elevation changes, big energy, and nonstop action. And this boy runs the same layout. Cota comes off the line fast and stays there. He’s got zero interest in cruising because he wants to be in the middle of the race at all times, until it's time for a proper pit stop. If you move, he’s on it. If something’s happening, he’s already there. And if you disappear? He will absolutely call it out over the radio. With his sleek, smooth coat and expressive face, Cota feels built for speed. He’s confident, social, and thrives in motion, always looking for the next lap, the next interaction and the next reason to stay close to his people. He may run a little hot at times (big feelings come with that kind of pace), but he resets just as quickly and is right back on track, ready to go again. Cota will do best in a home that keeps him engaged, included, and part of the team. Because for him, life is very much a team sport! We do not have a facility for you to visit. You are welcome to email ccrcdogs@ccrcdogs.com with specific questions, but please complete the online application, which can be found at www.ccrcdogs.com, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10-day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fees are listed on our website and cover the cost of the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. Most dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers so there is often very little known about their history or current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC has a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, and we have trainers who will offer free phone/email support. April 21, 2026, 2:25 pm

But it’s not just his looks that make him special… Garret has loved every single person and animal he’s met. His joy is contagious, and his gentle, happy spirit makes him an instant best friend. Right now, Garret is heartworm positive and going through treatment, and he’ll need a committed foster to adopt who can help him safely finish his journey to full health. Through it all, he’s stayed incredibly sweet, resilient, and full of love. Garret is looking for a home that will stand by him, give him the care he needs, and then enjoy all the amazing companionship he has to offer on the other side of treatment. If you’re searching for a loyal, affectionate pup who will adore you endlessly, Garret is ready to be your guy We do not have a facility for you to visit. Story
Meet Monza Named after the Temple of Speed, Monza is all about raw pace, bold moves, and committing when it counts, and this girl delivers. Monza might line up looking calm and composed, but don’t get too comfortable. The second there’s an opening, she’s on it full send, no hesitation. One minute she’s soft and sweet, the next she’s hitting DRS with zoomies, climbing moves and last-second overtakes you didn’t see coming. She’s got that perfect mix of curiosity and confidence, and it shows up in bursts. Monza plays the game her own way: quiet until she’s not. Then suddenly, this little firecracker is leading the pack like she’s been there the whole time. Monza will thrive in a home that embraces both her bursts of playful energy and quieter laps. Monza runs hard during the day, but when the checkered flag drops, she’s a total snuggler, simply happy to curl up close with her crew.We do not have a facility for you to visit. Story
Snoopy is a special needs dogs, as he has some loss of eye sight in his right eye and sees fairly well from his left eye. He has a condition he was born with called Leukoma. He will need drops in his eyes twice a day for the rest of his life. These drops can be purchased from Amazon and are not expensive. Because he loves treats so much, they are easy to give to him. He went to see a vision specialist but he will not need to go back. Snoopy is the sweetest, funniest and loveable boy. He loves other dogs and he must have a fenced yard and another dog to play with. He lives to play and he loves toys. His coat is quite long but he will not need regular grooming if he is brushed regularly and he likes being brushed. He is almost housebroken now an only has an accident occasionally. He has been neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested and has a microchip. https://form.jotform.com/220052826231141
