We pulled Colby along with his brother and sister from a high kill shelter in GA when they were 10 weeks old. Their mom is a pure bred Black standard Poodle that was allowed to run and she came home pregnant. All three pup look a bit different, so we are sure there were different dads. Colby looks like he has Brittany spaniel in him but that is only a guess He has long wavy hair a scruffy face and seems to be very low shedding. Colby's brother and sister have now gone to their new homes, and he is anxiously waiting for his family! We think that Colby will be close to 60 lbs when grown. He loves people although a bit shy at first and he loves other dogs. He is one happy boy all the time. We're all just crazy about his cuteness! He is now 8 months old and UTD on shots and has been neutered and microchipped Colby is happy, playful and affectionate. He would be a great addition to any family. I am a Poodle mix and currently weigh about 50 lbs. The vet says I am between 2-3 years old. I have had a rough time lately; I was found wandering alone and was quite thin and very matted. A Good Samaritan took me in, gave me a safe place to stay, got me to a groomer to have me trimmed up and got me to a vet for some needed veterinary care. I have completely healed from Lymes Disease that I had earlier. I am currently on Apoquel as I appear to have skin allergies, but my skin looks great now; I responded very well to the meds. I was neutered and had my tail docked on Dec 5th and I’m all healed. I had my Rabies shot (3 year) and my other shots up to date. I will receive the Trio Simparica Chew (heartworm prevention) on Jan 1st. I am not at all food aggressive; if my foster mom takes my bowl away while I am eating, I just step back. I will overeat so my food needs to be measured out. I take food and treats very gently from my foster mom’s hand. I am crate trained and I know a few commands, and I appear to be a smart boy who can learn much more. I will need a fenced in yard as I do like to explore. I just want a family of my own to love. Snoopy is a special needs dogs, as he has some loss of eye sight in his right eye and sees fairly well from his left eye. He has a condition he was born with called Leukoma. He will need drops in his eyes twice a day for the rest of his life. These drops can be purchased from Amazon and are not expensive. Because he loves treats so much, they are easy to give to him. He went to see a vision specialist but he will not need to go back. Snoopy is the sweetest, funniest and loveable boy. He loves other dogs and he must have a fenced yard and another dog to play with. He lives to play and he loves toys. His coat is quite long but he will not need regular grooming if he is brushed regularly and he likes being brushed. He is almost housebroken now an only has an accident occasionally. He has been neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested and has a microchip. https://form.jotform.com/220052826231141
