He is anxious a bit in the car, so a seatbelt harness is helpful. He is working on leash handling with his trainer. Eddie would do best in a single dog household, but he is working with his trainer on being respectful of other dogs. Eddie is very sweet and inquisitive, he loves to watch tv. He always wants to know where his human is and likes to spend time with them. Dolly is a 9-month old rescue from the Huron Valley Humane Society. She is smart, fast, fun, playful, and sweet. She is also crate trained.Unfortunately, she is significantly bigger than we expected. And more mischievous. We have two small children and full-time jobs, which means we are having trouble giving this adorable girl the love and attention she deserves. What Dolly needs is a home where her caregivers can walk her more often and play with her. Dolly doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She would be perfect for a family with children over the age of 10. Unfortunately, that isn't our family at the moment.

Most dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers so there is often very little known about their history or current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. Snoopy is a special needs dogs, as he has some loss of eye sight in his right eye and sees fairly well from his left eye. He has a condition he was born with called Leukoma. He will need drops in his eyes twice a day for the rest of his life. These drops can be purchased from Amazon and are not expensive. Because he loves treats so much, they are easy to give to him. He went to see a vision specialist but he will not need to go back. Snoopy is the sweetest, funniest and loveable boy. He loves other dogs and he must have a fenced yard and another dog to play with. He lives to play and he loves toys. His coat is quite long but he will not need regular grooming if he is brushed regularly and he likes being brushed. Presley, named after Pricilla Presley, is a 14 week old labradoodle who is full of love, life, and that wonderful puppy energy. Her personality seems to bring out the best of both breeds - playful, affectionate, intelligent, and eager to be part of your life. She loves to play tug-of-war, chase and retrieve a ball, and pounce on her squeaky toys. When playtime is over, Presley is just as happy cuddling in your arms and falling asleep in your lap. She has a wonderfully affectionate nature and loves being close to her people. One of the things that makes Presley especially unique is how quiet she is. She settles beautifully and doesn't need to be constantly entertained. Presley does extremely well in her crate and is making progress with her housebreaking. She is learning her name and the word "no", and she already has an adorable response to a simple signal: purse your lips, make a 'kiss' sound, and she comes running - literally! She is good with other dogs and is learning how to be a happy, well-mannered member of the family. Presley is still very much a puppy, so she will need someone who understands that raising a young dog takes patience, consistency, training, and lots of love.
