Fred ( front ) and Ethel .. were surrendered to SI ACC. Fred is about 2 and Ethel is maybe a year ...she acts like a puppy. They pretty much eat,sleep, and, play together. Fred will sometimes grumble when he wants space from my dogs or sometimes from Ethel.. nothing more than noise, though. They are very sweet and loving pups. Ethel will lay on my head or chest and Fred tries to get as close as possible. They are both desperate for love. This pair would make a great addition to any family,but with older children...Fred can be growly at times! they are young, happy, playful and ready to be part of a forever home. Two is always better than one!!!They are app 20 lbs each. AND Yes, poodle type hair. Percy had a rough start at life. He was kept in a kennel all day and night and was extremely malnourished. He was rescued by a very sweet citizen and found his way to FOR! He is now ready to find a forever home that will love and appreciate him! Despite Percy's past, he is a loving and sweet dog. He loves to smile at people and show how happy he is. Percy is great with other dogs ranging from small to big! We are saying no cats since he has a tendency to chase cats. Dominique is an extremely handsome, very social, black, with a touch of white on his chest, male standard poodle born on 3/4/23. He currently weighs about 60 pounds and is a burning, burning hunk of love for sure, so it goes without waying that Dominique loves attention and is ready to bond with his special human. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, received a Proheart 6 shot and is also being kept on flea and tick prevention to maintain his good health. His adoption donation is $750.00 plus $165 transport fee If you would like to adopt Dominique the first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application, please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. This beautiful girl is Bella and she's between 1-2 years old and weighs 50 pounds. She doesn't shed so we think she's a Poodle & Schnauzer mix. She has the the kindest demeanor and a low to medium energy level which makes her easy to live with. She's a very smart and sensitive girl who can be a little shy when she first meets you but warms up quickly. She was surrendered by her family because they didn't have a yard and couldn't give her the walks she needed. She's great with people and other dogs and loves to play and snooze. She walks well on a leash and loves to go for walks. We want her to have a wonderful family who will love her forever and have a fenced in backyard. She's nice and mellow so she could live in an apartment in the suburbs as long as she gets walks and good exercise. She's totally healthy, up to date on all her vaccines and housebroken.
