Story
Meet Percy – Your New Adventure Buddy! 🐾 Percy is a 4-year-old Goldendoodle with a heart full of love and energy to match! This playful, affectionate pup is ready to find his forever home where he can thrive as the fun-loving companion he was born to be. Percy is great with other dogs and would love a canine buddy to romp around with. He’s an active boy who enjoys walks, playtime, and plenty of attention. Whether it’s a game of fetch in the yard or a hike on the trails, Percy is always up for an adventure. Because of his enthusiasm and energy, Percy would do best in a home with older kids (12+) who can keep up with his playful spirit. He's not a fan of cats, so a feline-free home is a must. This sweet, curly-coated guy is looking for a family who will give him the love, structure, and activity he needs to be his best self. If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic, and endlessly lovable best friend, Percy might just be your perfect match! Ready to meet Percy? Fill out an adoption application on our website forrescue.net today and come see if he’s the one for you! He is being fostered in Huntsville, AL.

Story
Meet Kobe, a loving 2 year old Standard Poodle, looking for his forever home. Kobe is bursting with love and friendliness! This curly haired, sweet neutered boy is searching for a new family to love. He's neutered, current on all his vaccinations and has been well-cared for by his previous family, who unfortunately can no longer care for him. Kobe has that wonderful poodle energy and intelligence. He is smart and eager to please. When he is happy (which is always) he shows it with his whole body. Kobe is a sweet boy who needs an experienced owner with a firm, consistent approach to training. We are committed to working with Kobe’s new family to help train him to channel all that enthusiasm. This handsome boy is ready to bring joy, laughter, and unconditional love to his new home. With the right guidance, this lovable goofball will become an amazing companion. He just needs someone who can match his energy with calm, confident leadership. Be sure to complete an application on line and come say hello to Kobe at our Meet & Greet Saturdays 11:30-1:30. Story
Hi, I’m Jazz — a 6-month-old Standard Poodle puppy weighing about 48 pounds, and I’ve got a whole lot of personality to match my size. I’m confident, fun, and friendly, and I jump into life with both paws first. If you’re nearby, I’m probably trying to climb onto you — not because I have no manners, but because I’m so excited to be close to people. I’m good with other dogs and love having playmates. I’m still learning my boundaries, so I can be a bit jumpy, but it all comes from enthusiasm and a happy, social nature. Training will be important for me, and the good news is that I’m smart, eager, and ready to learn. I’m looking for an active, patient home that’s excited about raising a big, joyful puppy into an amazing adult dog. If you want a confident, affectionate, playful companion who will make you laugh every single day, I think we’d make some pretty great music together!  Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Story
I’m Motown — a 48 pound 6-month-old Standard Poodle puppy with striking black-and-white markings and a heart that’s still learning how brave it can be. I can be a little nervous at first, especially in new situations, but I’m also friendly and curious. I love being around other dogs. Having another dog nearby really helps me build confidence. I look to them for cues, comfort, and encouragement, and I do best when I have a canine friend to show me the ropes. I’m playful and tolerant with other dogs, happy to follow their lead, and eager to learn how to be the best version of myself. I’m still growing, still learning, and still figuring out the world — but I’m doing my best every day. I’d thrive in a home with another dog who can help me feel secure and loved while I continue to gain confidence. If you’re looking for a beautiful, gentle pup who just needs a little reassurance to shine, I’m ready to grow with you!  Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org).
