Story
Hello! My name is Louie, and I am a Standard Poodle, about 6 years old, born on 2/26/2020, weigh 64 lbs, and Im very debonair with touches of silver in my soft, curly black coat, and a docked tail. I was living a good life in San Antonio, Texas, adopted as a puppy from a breeder in Arkansas. I was living with 3 dog housemates, but when our owner became ill, we were all surrendered to various dog rescues. I can't lie, it was a very rough first week for me being away from everyone I loved, waiting by the door at my foster home, and crying all night, wishing I could be back with my family. My foster parents were heartbroken for me, but with extra love and patience, I started feeling happy again. These days, with the past behind me, I am doing great and ready for a new life in a new forever home. My foster parents want you to know that I am a wonderful boy with a great, easygoing personality, smart, calm, and kind. Im friendly with everyone, young and old, and although Im friendly with other dogs, they are not my focus, because my heart belongs to people. I LOVE going for walks, whether it's a leisurely stroll, a slow jog, or even a ride in the car; my happy place is by your side. I enjoy playing fetch and snacking on dog treats, especially watermelon and apples, and you should know that snuggling is my specialty! Yep, I am very affectionate, not kissy, but I bond wholeheartedly, basically velcro, and will follow you everywhere, including sleeping in your room at night. I am housebroken and good in a crate while the humans are away. To sum up, I am friendly, sweet, loving, and loyal, and Im ready to meet you! Inquire about me today. * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Story
Hi there! I am a lovely, female Saint Berdoodle named Quinn, adopted as a puppy from a doodle breeder in Texas who specializes in my breed mix. I was born on 4/16/23, now weigh 73 lbs, and I was surrendered when my owners went through a divorce. I was a shaggy mess when 4 Little Paws Rescue picked me up (see my transformation video), but now I am freshly groomed, spayed, and all caught up on my vaccines and preventatives, totally ready to find a wonderful new forever home! My foster parents want you to know that I am an amazing girl with a soft energy and a wonderful personality. I am friendly and kind with a zen-monk attitude and a heart of gold. Adoring of people, and unsure of other dogs, I would be happiest as the only dog in my new home. I am calm and mild, not obsessive in any way, but obedient, playful, and happy, enjoying dog toys, playing fetch, and going for walks. Get ready for snuggles because I am very affectionate, not kissy or slobbery, but snuggly, and I enjoy being with my humans. I am well-behaved, rarely bark, crate trained, housebroken, potty-pad trained, easy to care for, and very easy to love! I enjoy sitting outdoors, watching and listening, peacefully taking in the scenery, while being very in tune with the world around me. Inquire about me today. Story
DOB 6-1-2025 This sweet Poodle Is crate trained and loves to go for walks on her leash. Ella has been spayed, she is Heartworm negative and received a ProHeart6 preventative injection. She is up to date on shots and dental work and weighs about 45 pounds. Ella gets along well with other dogs and LOVES her toys and playing in her back yard. Her adoption fee is 950.00 and her transport fee is 165.00. Our transport is HEARTS LLC. they are a wonderful transport delivering pets to the East Coast every other weekend The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
Adopt Ty! 🐾 Ty is estimated to be 3-4 years old, and is a purebred Standard Poodle weighing around 60 pounds. His foster family says he’s truly as sweet as they come. This lovable boy has a wonderful personality and so much love to give. He quickly becomes everyone’s best friend and absolutely loves meeting new people. Ty thrives on companionship and being part of the family. Ty has excellent house manners and is fully housebroken. He can be trusted out of a crate when left alone and is not destructive in the home. He sleeps soundly through the night for 8–9 hours and is generally a very quiet dog, only barking occasionally if he hears an unusual noise outside. This handsome guy enjoys his routines, especially his long morning walks, and he always has a healthy appetite! Like many curious pups, he has occasionally been known to “counter surf,” and he could benefit from some continued work on basic commands and training. He will also need regular professional grooming every 4-6 weeks to keep him looking and feeling his best! Ty has only been in the car a couple of times, but with patience and more positive experiences, we think he’ll get used to it quickly. We are still learning about how he interacts with other dogs (he has been around them in previous living situations), so proper slow introduction will be necessary for safe integration. We prefer he goes to a home without cats at this time. We think Ty would thrive in a forever home where he has plenty of companionship during the day, as well as plenty of structured exercise. He would likely do wonderfully with an active and experienced family (kids age 8+) who would enjoy playing with him and including him in daily life. A fenced yard is ideal. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with a gentle heart, Ty may be your perfect match! ❤️ Apply here: www.pprct.org

Story
Princess Sasha is looking for a castle of her own. As you know, Princesses can be a little testy from all of their princess duties, but once Sasha feels you are a trustworthy subject, she will fill your life with such riches that only love can bring. Sasha is a 6 yr old poodle, approximately 10lbs, good with calm dogs, but prefer an adult home for this little Princess!  She is in foster in  the Bronx at this time. Please go to the link to fill our our adoption application.  https://www.remembermerescueny.net/adoption-application  Remember Me Rescue does not adopt out of the local area, no transport is available.  We adopt to Long Island, Westchester, NYC area and parts of Connecticut only. Also, we have a very high volume of applications and we are all volunteers. We cannot respond to every application personally. Please make sure your application gives us a good picture of your family and the life you plan on providing a dog from our rescue. We choose a home based on the BEST FIT for EACH dog and approve on a dog by dog basis. Thank you! ##2689429##

She came from a severe backyard breeding situation where many dogs were too terrified or reactive to even be approached. Sunshine was one of the few who allowed herself to be helped and that alone says so much about her heart. Despite everything she's endured including having puppies in that environment who didn't survive Sunshine remains gentle, curious, and full of quiet hope. She truly wants to trust. There isn't a mean bone in her body. She does well with other animals and would benefit from a patient, understanding home that will let her continue to come out of her shell at her own pace. Every small step forward with Sunshine is meaningful, and watching her learn what love and safety feel like is incredibly rewarding. Sunshine didn't get the life she deserved at the start but her future can be different. She's ready for a home that will show her kindness, stability, and the love she's been waiting for.
