Story
Meet Percy – Your New Adventure Buddy! 🐾 Percy is a 4-year-old Goldendoodle with a heart full of love and energy to match! This playful, affectionate pup is ready to find his forever home where he can thrive as the fun-loving companion he was born to be. Percy is great with other dogs and would love a canine buddy to romp around with. He’s an active boy who enjoys walks, playtime, and plenty of attention. Whether it’s a game of fetch in the yard or a hike on the trails, Percy is always up for an adventure. Because of his enthusiasm and energy, Percy would do best in a home with older kids (12+) who can keep up with his playful spirit. He's not a fan of cats, so a feline-free home is a must. This sweet, curly-coated guy is looking for a family who will give him the love, structure, and activity he needs to be his best self. If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic, and endlessly lovable best friend, Percy might just be your perfect match! Ready to meet Percy? Fill out an adoption application on our website forrescue.net today and come see if he’s the one for you! He is being fostered in Huntsville, AL.

Story
Hello everyone! I'd like to introduce myself. My friends here at the rescue named me Coffee. They say I have a spectacular, luxurious, and handsome coat, maybe because of my Poodle/Wolfhound mix of breeds. I tend to agree with them. If you're looking for a best friend, I'm it! I'm a playful 10 month old, that's 66 pounds of goofiness and fun! I had an owner once but I don't remember him well because he always left me outside. Despite all that, I love people! And dogs! And toys! And treats! And life! I can't wait to have my own person that wants to show me what life is really like as a dog. Adventures await for my pal and me, and I'm so excited for everything that will come my way. I'm really the sweetest and funniest guy and would love to meet you so please apply today!  Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Story
I can be met by appointment at my foster home in Stormville, NY. You will also see me at any of the Tractor Supply events because I don't like to miss out on any fun. If you would like to foster me to adopt just send an email. 🐾 Meet Astro: The Smart, Sweet, and Playful Best Friend! Lab/Poodle Mix | 7 Months Old | House-Trained & Crate-Trained Astro is a vibrant, 7-month-old soul who is the perfect blend of athletic and affectionate. Though he has had a big transition recently, he is proving to be an incredibly smart boy who is eager to please and even more eager to love. 🌟 Why You’ll Love Him Astro is an active, playful pup who is already well-ahead of the curve with his training! House-Trained Pro: Astro is an excellent communicator. When he needs to go out, he’ll head to the door and go right to his leash to let you know. He even knows the command "Go Potty" to help him stay focused on the task at hand. Crate Trained: He transitions easily to his crate with a simple "Crate" command and a small treat. Impressive Recall: Astro has a special safety skill! When you say "Safety," he will come straight to you and sit right between your legs. Playtime Enthusiast: He is the king of tug-of-war and loves a good "sniffing" challenge with treat mats. If you’re a runner or a hiker, Astro is your guy—he loves to be active, though he’s still learning to stay focused on his leash when there are interesting things to see! 🍖 Life with Astro Astro is a healthy boy currently growing big and strong on Blue Buffalo Chicken Puppy Food. He follows a reliable routine: he loves his morning walk/potty break around 8:00 AM and his evening routine around 6:00 PM. He’s been neutered and is ready to jump into his next adventure. ❤️ A Note from His Heart Astro’s previous home loved him dearly and invested so much time into making him the well-behaved boy he is today. They want nothing more than a family who can match his energy and give him the active lifestyle a young Lab/Poodle mix dreams of. Is your home the "forever" spot Astro has been looking for? 📩 How to Adopt: Email info@pawsafe.org to request an application or to learn more about the honor of being Astro’s new family. How to meet dogs listed with "NY" : If the dog is listed with an 'Avail date" and a (location) - the dog cannot be met until the event and it is a first come, first served adoption event with the dogs being met in the order the potential adopters sign in. If the dog is listed as being in a (foster home ie: Foster in Carmel) please email us at info@pawsafe.org and we will set up an appointment for you to meet the dog(s) that interest you at their foster home(s). **** We are sorry, but we cannot adopt to Massachusetts residents. Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Okay, GRACIE does not look too beautiful in these pictures but she is in person and her soul is really beautiful.  GRACIE is a wonderful dog who I rescued from the streets of San Antonio, TX.  She had been hanging out at a bank, just sitting there waiting for someone to rescue her.  She was so happy to be saved.  She is for sure a very loyal and loving dog. I am going to try to groom her this weekend and get better pictures of her but she is an all black dog and those pictures are hard to take and to make them clear.  Her coat is wavy/curly and she does allow you to groom her and she takes a good bath.  GRACIE is a poodle/terrier mix who is 3 years old and 51 pounds. GRACIE's main purpose in life is to play.  She would do best in a home with another dog as a playmate.  For sure she would occupy that dog's time and energy!  GRACIE plays, eats and sleeps to get ready to play again.  She deserves a second chance at having a loving home.  I wish I knew why she was tossed away on the streets because she is such a good girl and I have no problems out of her. She loves to go on walks or do anything that involves receiving love.  She is really a pets pet and will not bother you around the house.  I have on good thoughts and great things to say about her. If you are interested in adopted GRACIE, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         June 20, 2025, 10:18 am
