Story
Meet ButtonButton is a handsome young wire-haired terrier/Schnauzer mix, estimated to be around 2-3 years old, with striking golden-hazel eyes, a soft white chest, and an adorable little white mohawk that gives him a permanently mischievous look.Button loves being part of the action. Whether it's a walk around the neighborhood, a trail hike, or simply hanging out with his people, he's happiest when he's included. He's an active boy who enjoys exploring and has plenty of energy for adventures. One of Button's most charming traits is that he 'talks.' He'll often make funny little sounds and chatter when he's excited or trying to get your attention. He has a lot to say and isn't shy about sharing his opinions. When he's not out adventuring, Button has a goofy side. He loves relaxing on his back with all four legs in the air, soaking up attention and showing off his playful personality.Button is a smart boy who enjoys learning and working with his people. He has been doing well with his leash skills and continues to make great progress. He quickly figured out how to use the dog door and settled into his foster home's routine almost immediately, which is a great example of how intelligent and adaptable he can be.He is potty trained, though adopters should always expect a learning curve when any dog transitions into a new environment. Button is also pretty well crate trained and settles nicely when given structure and routine.Button is loyal, affectionate, and full of character. While he bonds deeply with his people, he can be a bit insecure when meeting new people and may take some time to warm up. Because of this, he's looking for an experienced home that understands how to build trust, advocate for their dog, and help him navigate situations that make him uncomfortable.Like many terrier mixes, Button can be sensitive to overstimulating environments. He has previously nipped at joggers who unexpectedly ran toward him on walks, so he is muzzle trained for situations where extra management may be helpful. His muzzle is simply a tool that allows him to safely enjoy outings while setting him up for success. In his day-to-day life, Button is generally a chill, easygoing guy who enjoys being with his people, exploring the world, and then relaxing at home. He just needs a family that understands his insecurities and will continue helping him build confidence.Button is looking for a patient, dog-savvy home that will appreciate his intelligence, enjoy his quirky conversations, and give him the structure, understanding, and companionship he thrives on.If you're looking for a dog with personality, charm, intelligence, and a best-friend attitude, Button may be the perfect match. To be considered for adoption, please submit a detailed adoption application so we can help ensure the best possible match for both Button and his future family.Apply at: www.K9ppr.orgJune 18, 2026, 1:11 pm

Story
Olive  is a super sweet dog. She is gentle when taking treats, she’s loving, and she has become so incredibly trusting of people after her rough journey. She has been non-reactive to things like vacuum cleaners or new people coming into the house. She enjoys full body rubs, and when she is super comfortable, she will sleep on her back with her feet up in the air! Walks are her favorite. She takes her time to really take in all the scents. She loves to wag her fluffy tail, which has an adorable white tip. Energy Level?  Medium House trained?  Yes Describe how they are on a leash?  She walks well on a leash and loves daily walks. Describe how they are with other dogs?  She loves to snuggle with our resident dog. She seems to really enjoy the company of another dog. We feed them separately.  Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they?  She has not yet been exposed to cats or other animals at our house.  Commands they know?  She taught herself how to use the doggie door! What are their favorite things?  Olive's favorite things are getting pets, lots of love, and taking daily sniff walks. She enjoys leisurely walks and sometimes gets the zoomies.  What do they need to work on?  We are trying to show her that there is plenty of food, treats, and toys for her, and that there is no need to resource guard. How are they when left alone?  How long  have they been left alone?  She has been fine when we leave the house for several hours, especially with the company of our resident dog. Currently, we leave her in her crate.  Where do they sleep?  She sleeps on a big cushion inside her crate. She loves to lay on anything that is cushiony -- especially a donut bed on top of a cushion. It would be her dream to sleep on a big human bed or a sofa. What is their ideal home?  Her ideal home is with someone who can continue to give her lots of love and help her continue to blossom. She's up for adventures and is a good passenger in the car. She just wants to be loved, and in return, she gives lots of happy tail wags and companionship.  The Adoption fee is $325.   For adoption consideration or to meet our dogs , please complete our online adoption application at  www.everypetsdream.org/adopt .
