All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.  * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption Fee: $700   The Coin puppies are cashing out their piggy banks for their forever homes! These puppies are 3 month old Schnauzer mixes, with the perfect blend of cuteness and goofy energy! There are two girls and two boys in this bunch. We estimate the puppies will reach between 15-20 pounds as adults. We will be looking for individual homes for each puppy as we do not place siblings together. Collect your lucky coin with one of these puppies today!     Penny: Penny promises to bring you endless luck in the form of cuddles and kisses! She has a big puppy personality packaged into a little body! She is the perfect cuddlebug who loves curling up on an available lap for a long snuggle session, but also has a fabulous playful side. She loves soft rope toys and bravely drags them around the playpen as her siblings try to pounce on her! Penny is incredibly smart and will be an amazing little bundle of joy to her forever family!  Nickel: Nickel is an absolute King of the Hill (even though that hill is small like him)! But don’t tell him that. This little spitfire is full of big energy and an even bigger personality. He is eager to play from sunrise to bedtime and would love a canine sibling in his forever home to romp around and explore the world with. Despite Nickel’s small size, he is totally fearless and loves being the center of attention. With a face as cute as his, he is impossible to resist cuddling!  Dime: Dime is the entertaining clown princess of her litter and shimmers brighter than the sun! She is highly intelligent with a big, goofy personality. Whether she is scampering around the yard pouncing on leaves, flopping dramatically onto a lap for cuddles, or dragging around toys twice her body size, this girl will keep you laughing all day every day! Dime loves to curl up on a warm lap after a day of hijinks, and will be an amazing bundle of kisses for her lucky forever home.  Quarter: Quarter is the dictionary definition of “Man’s Best Friend”. This loving, cuddly dude showers affection on his people through excited greetings, snuggles, and constant loyal companionship. However, Quarter also has a wonderful playful side and enjoys romping around with his siblings as they play their puppy games. Quarter is the most easy-going of his siblings and is super smart, picking up new commands with ease.     The puppies start their day with a quick potty break around 7 AM, before they zoom around and play. After breakfast, the puppies head to their cleaned out pen for the day. They alternate between playing, napping. chewing on toys, cuddling, and being adorable throughout the day. In the afternoon, the puppies get long cuddle sessions followed by games of tug and fetch. In the evening, after dinner, the puppies go outside for more play and potty time. As they settle down for the night, they each get some individual cuddle time on the couch as they watch TV.  They head to bed after one last kiss on the head and puppy pile together in their crates for bedtime.  The puppies have been well socialized with dogs of all ages and sizes. They would be a great addition to a home with a dog or as a solo pup. They have met a friendly cat. They all adore people and can’t wait to find their happily ever after! The Coin puppies will be very fun to train and socialize with that fun Schnauzer energy!    The Coin puppies are only an option for homes who have owned a dog in the last 5 years. Kids in the home should be over the age of 7.April 28, 2024, 4:35 pm

Story
Playful puppy alert! Troy packs a lot of fun into his small, scruffy body. At 1-year old and 21 pounds, Troy is a bundle of love and enthusiasm. This cheerful boy wants to be with his people, pursuing every possible adventure or cuddling on the couch. Troy loves walks, hikes, and exploring new places! He also loves meeting other dogs and people. He does great accompanying his humans on errands to dog-friendly stores. He just loves to explore the world with his humans, aka his best friends. Cuddly Troy will make you smile just as much on the couch as at the dog park. After burning off his energy in play, Troy crashes into a typical puppy nap: dead-to-the-world, snoring oblivion. He loves drifting off on his person’s lap in front of the TV – but you might turn it off just to listen to his funny sleep-snuffles! As a puppy, Troy would love a home with a yard where he can run off his energy, and a family that will give him lots of attention and teach him how to socialize appropriately. Although Troy is just beginning his puppy training, this little smarty already sleeps well in a crate, knows basic commands and learning new ones every week, absolutely loves a car ride, and waits for his food! This boy thrives with training. He loves it. He loves the focus and the purpose. We’re seeking a home that will commit to using only positive methods to continue bringing out Troy’s best, well-behaved self. He gives his full attention and takes to training quickly, especially if treats are involved. If you like to arrange a meeting with little man Troy, we ask that you fill out our online application:  www.tinyurl.com/AdoptMeNowApril 13, 2024, 6:23 pm

Story
Coco was found by a very good samaritan with her little friend, Taco. These two puppies are super small and were left to defend themselves on the mean streets of a California town. They are great with cats, kids, other dogs and people. Very affectionate. We just stepped in to help the finder and are currently taking care of vetting and spay/neuter. Please check out our program at www.reunionrescue.com - we do all foster to adopt and have an excellent nutrition and holistic program. All of our dogs come with a 100% lifetime guarantee so no animal we save ever goes to a shelter. Get in touch today to meet Coco!

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Ukelele is a simple guy with simple needs. He's got some fancy facial fur and his lil cubic body, perched on impossibly short legs, radiates elite level cuteness. But this mellow grandad has modest goals. He would like to relax in a loving home, dine on healthy food (maybe a couple of treats), and nap in a blankie warmed by a ray of sun. Walks are good, dogs and stairs aren't a problem, but kids are not part of his humble fantasy. Don't worry. His ambitions may be minimal, but his gratitude will be extravagant. Oh! And he is the loveliest boy in the entire world. Here's some notes from his foster: He simply enjoys being around his person, will follow you and stay close to you on walks and in the house. Very food motivated. Interested, curious, and kind towards all other dogs but not overly enthusiastic or excited when seeing them. He also really enjoys our walks (30-40 minutes is as far as we've gone and he can keep up). He is a friendly boy. When he desires something, like cuddles, being on the bed, or when you are eating, he expresses it with small whimpers.
