Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Skye is 5 years old and 10 pounds of sweetness.  She is quiet and a cuddler who gets along with all of the dogs in the foster home.  She loves watching them play but she does not join in.  Skye likes to sunbath when the weather is nice. She likes to be carried and still getting use to walking on a leash, she does ride well in the car without getting car sick.  Skye has no aggression in any area and is treat motivated. She is 100% pure Schnauzer. Skye was found running down the street in San Antonio, TX in a not so pleasant area of town.  She was scanned for a microchip and she did not have one, she does now.  She was posted on multiple Lost & Found pages but no one came forward for her.  She was extremely matted as a result from being in the streets for so long and I groomed her and I am not a professional but focused on getting the mats off.  Her coat will grow back in pretty. Even though she was found on the streets and had been out there awhile, her house manners are excellent.  Completely house, crate and potty trained.  I leave her to roam freely in my home with my personal dogs while I am gone. If you would like to adopt Skye please submit an application on the website below.   www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         May 5, 2024, 5:32 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Mr. MAN saved from a kill shelter in Georgia and arrived at Give a Dog a Home Rescue, in Sebec, Maine on 30 October 2023. Mr. MAN is neutered, rabies, core vaccines, monthly preventatives, heartworm and tick disease tested negative and is microchipped with 24PetWatch. He has an estimated date of birth of October 2021 and in December 2023 has an estimated weight of 50 pounds. We have no way of knowing the breed, it is up to individuals to look at the pictures and videos to make up their own mind. We take a lot of pictures and videos and don't always have the time to post them on the dogs individual webpage and adoption site, so we ask that you go to the rescue  YouTube channel  and  photo albums on our Facebook page  to see a LOT of pictures and videos. Mr. MAN is an absolute sweetheart, brimming with affection and love. He loves to play and charge around with his other dogs friends, but equally, it nor a little more, likes to be with his humans, as close as can be. He would be great for a family that wanted a dog to take everywhere with them. He has been around adults of all ages, shapes and sizes, small children and people with special needs and was gentle and loving.  He is responsive and is happy to show anyone he meets lots of love. He does need an active family who will ensure he gets all the exercise, both mentally and physically that he needs to live a happy fulfilling life. We are looking for families that have the lifestyle that the dog needs to lead a healthy, both mentally and physically life, who can afford a GOOD quality food, toys and treats and understand the importance of veterinary wellness checks. Mr. MAN is located at the rescue in Sebec Maine and is available for a  reduced adoption  fee of $250. Interested families are required to complete our application process and once approved schedule an appointment to come to the rescue to meet and take home their new best friend. Our process takes 1-2 days as long as we are able to talk to references, so be prepared to be approved (hopefully) to adopt within a few days of submitting the adoption application. https://giveadogahome-rescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5838 HOUSE TRAINED - All of our dogs are located in the kennel building so we are not able to say if a dog is house-trained, however, they do have access and use the dog door to access their run, play area 24/7. FOOD - We feed a variety of high quality brands and flavors including, chicken, turkey, beef, lamb and fish generally alternated daily. CATS - As the dogs are in the kennels, we are not able to say how they are with cats. Story
My name is Schnookie and I am looking for a special mom and dad who will let me be their little Princess forever.   I was bought as a puppy by a family who had children that treated me very badly.  My foster mom Miss Audrey took her from that home when she could tell they didn’t want me. I was so grateful to be away from being mistreated.  Miss Audrey and Critter Cavalry Rescue have teamed up to find me a home where I am the only Princess and can get all the love and attention that I was meant to have.  I am 10 pounds, 2 years old and a perfect little angel.  I am housebroken and crate trained and really good on a leash.  My foster mom said she will groom me in the style that a new adopter would like when I finally have the right family chosen for me.  If you are the one then  pick out my beauty pageant look and she will groom me in that fashion.  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com    PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.May 5, 2024, 11:12 am

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Zizzle - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Zizzle, a fun little name to say for a fun lil pup to come running your way!! I'm somewhere between 5 and 6 years old they're guessing cuz I'd much rather snuggle with you then play! I'd be the perfect companion pup for a retired or work from home person. I'm perfectly happy and content to be wherever you are. I am house and crate trained. I know how to use the doggie door and can let myself out to do my business. I'm a tad bit shy at first meet but once I feel comfortable I'm super sweet and affectionate. I also get along great with the other foster pups and even cats too! I haven't been around any small children and would probably do better in an adult only home. It does seem that I'm pretty scared of men and will need lots of patience to feel comfortable with them. I come in at just 9lbs which makes for me being a great lil companion to share your lap watching your favorite TV programs or taking leisurely strolls thru the neighborhood. My mediumish coat is not shed free but it is low shedding. I only need to be brushed a few times a week. Those times are some of my favorite, cuz it's you and me time!! Are you in need of a BFF, a constant in your life to share all your going on's? It so happens I'm in need of a family. We could be a match made in heaven, just fill out my adoption application and we can find out!!!

Story
Meet Cotton! He’s a sweet, snuggly boy who’s doing great at the rescue! He was found stray and we pulled him from a kill shelter. He’s great with other dogs and all people. He’s a scruffy little terrier mix, about 1 year old and 15 pounds. He’s a really good little guy who just loves attention.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.May 4, 2024, 8:46 pm
