Story
Bambino is a great dog, great with kids he has been my companion for so many years he helped me a lot with my PTSD, he's registered as a service dog, He has been to his vet regularly has all the shots and had been well taken care of, he takes monthly pills for worms to to keep him healthy, unfortunately I have to move and can't take him with me so I'm looking for a good home where he can be loved as much as he has been loved with me.

Story
Sometimes a little love is all we need in life. Meet Jenkins, a gent who could use exactly that. This seven-year-old pup adores affection, snuggles, a few gentle pets, and the comfort of knowing his family is near. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s a low energy dog, which is perfect for this guy. Jenkins lacks the ability to hear or see well, but he makes up for those shortcomings in other ways. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s gentle with adults and children and prefers to spend time lying down with other dogs. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s content with feline friends, too. He might need to be reminded that his people are nearby with a gentle touch rather than just sweet talk. As he faces a few hurdles with his health, he settles into his crate at night and enjoys a safe yard during the day to attend to his outside needs. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ll need extra TLC, but donâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t we all need a little bit of extra â&#194&#128&#194&#156Lâ&#194&#128&#194&#157 in our lives? Jenkins can share his love as much as he enjoys getting it. Jenkins is available for pre-adoption and may not be officially ready for adoption, as he is still undergoing medical treatment. Depending on his medical status, a Meet and Greet may be put on hold until he can safely participate in a meeting with potential adopters. In some cases, Jenkins may be able to move to his forever home while he is still under the medical care of Dallas Pets Alive. If you are interested in learning more, apply now and one of our Adoption Counselors will discuss the options available so you can bring home your new furry family member! Applications are processed in the order in which they are received; please be aware that this pet may have interested applicants ahead of you. Story
Oh, Otto! Otto is a friendly and chill senior who is looking for his furever home after being found as a stray. He is leash trained, crate trained, and house trainedâ&#194&#128¦of course he isâ&#194&#128¦heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s a sweet little gentleman! He is healing from some skin issues so he can be a little shy at first and prefers pets on his lovely little head instead of a full body stroke. But now that he is feeling better, you can really see how grateful he is to have loving people nearby. He is low energy due to his age but there is a curious twinkle in his eyes. He would do well in a quiet and calm household or apartment. If you are looking for a quiet companionâ&#194&#128¦maybe you otto give Otto a look! Story
Meet Bella! This ultimate house dog will capture your heart with her perfect manners and quirky looks. She’s 5yrs old and 45lbs. Her owner died over 2yrs ago and she been looking for a home since. Fortunately, we had an open spot in our rescue and intervened, keeping Bella out of the shelter. Bella is smart, playful and loves all people, including kids. Bella’s all about embracing the simple things in life: a toy, a bowl of food, a good back or belly scratch, exploring her yard and looking for critters, going for a puppaccino, neighborhood walks, or snuggling up on the couch for movie time. She has the perfect house manners too! She's a cross between staffordshire terrier and schnauzer. If you are interested in this sweet girl, text 214-577-2462 or email sdr_dallas@protonmail.com. We are a very small rescue, and Bella is our very last available dog. Our operations now involve outreach work only. She is our very last dog and we would love to see her find her forever home!!  ##1818987##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Yang – Your Personal Shadow of Joy! Looking for a dog who greets every moment (and person!) with boundless enthusiasm? Say hello to Yang, a playful and affectionate Schnauzer mix who’s ready to fill your days with love and laughter. Yang adores people – maybe a little too much! She was never taught the fine art of not jumping up to say hello, so expect a bouncy welcome every time you walk through the door. On the couch, she’s your affectionate shadow, happily climbing into your lap or across your chest in her quest for cuddles. Reading, snacking, and watching TV might need to wait until she’s had her fill of love! Despite her zest for attention, Yang is an obedient and well-mannered pup. She comes when called, understands “dinner,” and sleeps peacefully through the night. She’s also crate trained, leash trained and loves her toys. Whether it’s playtime or snuggle time, Yang brings joy to it all. While car rides alone can upset her tummy, Yang does great if she’s riding with doggie friends—she’s definitely a fan of the buddy system! With her sweet disposition, undefeatable spirit, and heart of gold, Yang is more than just a pet—she’s a devoted companion who will always be by your side.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 21, 2025, 3:54 pm
