Story
We adopted Ozzie here in Pensacola, FL at 8 weeks old in 2019. He is 6.5 years old. We are looking for a friendly environment where he can go in and out. Ozzie lives with another cat and they do great together. Our other cat is the "dominant" cat, so he follows her lead. We think he would do well in a home with other cats, although he may be timid and scared of new cats at first. Ozzie has been a great pet and we love him dearly. When we first got him he was indoor only. Due to our current situation he has spent the last year or so as an outdoor only cat. Unfortunately one of our children has an allergy which has meant he had to become an outdoor only cat. He would prefer to come in and out of the house, we feel that environment would suit him best. We are also moving to a different country and don't think it would be fair to move him across the world (to a colder climate) and keep him outside only. We would love to find him a loving home here.

Story
He was found by a friend a little under a year ago. My partner and I have had him since then. We do not know his age for sure but he seems to be around 2 to 3 years old. A new home that would be ideal for him is probably a decent amount of space. We just have a one bedroom apartment and I think that is part of the issues we had with taking care of him. He is very friendly and vocal. The main reason we are looking for a new home for him is that since we have a small apartment, he has knocked things over, causing things to break. We can also give our supplies if needed, these include: Litter box with lid and scooper, and litter itself. A litter mat. Litter deodorizer. Food and water bowls. Some toys. Collar. Food. Cat carrier. Treats. Pee pads.

Story
Cal is a dashing short-haired tuxedo feline with a classic black-and-white coat that looks like he’s permanently dressed for a formal event—though his personality is anything but stiff. Friendly at heart, Cal genuinely adores people and will happily saunter over to soak up attention. He loves being pet, scratched, and thoroughly doted on, leaning into every affectionate touch with unmistakable enthusiasm. Yet in true Cal fashion, this bliss is accompanied by a series of dramatic little growls, as if he must formally protest the very affection he so clearly requested.Despite his comically grumpy soundtrack, Cal is a softie through and through. His rumbling commentary only adds to his charm, making every cuddle session feel like a hilarious negotiation. One minute, he’s grumbling like a tiny, disgruntled old man; the next, he’s melting into a puddle of contentment under a steady stream of pets. With his tuxedo elegance, lovable contradictions, and perfectly timed grumbles, Cal keeps everyone laughing while making it very clear that affection is both required—and subject to his vocal review.ADOPTION PACKAGE:Thank you for your interest in adopting your next pet from The Haven.
