I got him from the vet when he was still young, all energy and curiosity. I wanted a cat I could grow old with, and from the beginning he made himself impossible not to love. He lives for playtime. If there's a wand toy in sight, he's ready. If a laser dot appears, he's instantly locked in. He can turn an ordinary afternoon into an event just by deciding it’s time to play. For all that energy, he’s also deeply affectionate. He loves being held and rocked. Sometimes he’ll walk right up to me while I’m working, climb into my arms, and settle in like that’s exactly where he belongs. It’s one of his favorite things in the world. He’s never been particularly picky about food, but Churu treats are in a category all their own. He hears one being opened from across the house and shows up immediately. He and his sister, Butters, were found on a rainy night abandoned on a dirt road in rural Alabama, but this little survivor hasn’t let his rough start dim his bright spirit. True to his name, Links is fast as lightning! He loves racing around, climbing the cat tree, and turning playtime into his own little adventure. When the zoomies are over, he’s just as happy being held and will reward you with a loud, happy purr. Links is a fun-loving, sweet kitten who enjoys both playtime and affection. He’s also litter box trained and ready to settle into a loving forever home. If you sit down, he will be right beside you—snuggled up, purring, and happiest just being close. He’s the kind of cat who wants to be your shadow and your best friend. If you feed him and take care of him, he will not leave your side. He bonds deeply with his person and gives so much affection in return. He has been the best cat we could ever ask for—gentle, loyal, and endlessly loving. Unfortunately, due to our 1-year-old’s allergies, we can no longer keep him, and this decision breaks our hearts.
