Story
Howl is Calcifurr’s brother, but we don’t believe they are bonded. Howl is just as much of a sweetheart as his brother, but a bit more quiet and reserved. He is very playful, as well, and loves his treats! Howl seems to have formed a bond with Horchata, so we would love to see them adopted together!

Story
Thank you for your interest in adopting! Rocco was rescued in the spring of 2025 after he was discovered abandoned at a feral cat feeding station. Some people know that feral cats are fed there and they abandoned their animals by dumping them. He was very sweet and very eager to leave. At that point, Rocco entered a Foster Home with two young female cats. He settled in quickly and became good friends with the girls, chasing, playing, and grooming them. The rotation continued at his foster home as more cats have been rescued, vetted and rehomed, but the sweetest boy is still waiting to bond with his family. Rocco is estimated to be about 18 months old. He has gained weight and grown while in his foster home. He does weigh 10 1/2 pounds, and we’re sure he’d lose a pound with more exercise. He also lives with kittens that eat twice a day. He doesn’t look fat cat, he’s strikingly handsome and everyone that meets him cannot believe that this cat has not been adopted! Rocco is social and smart. Mid afternoon you’ll find him on the top bunk with a kitten between his legs either sound asleep or grooming. He has been the best Foster brother and dad to kittens that have come through his Foster Home. Rocco enjoys his toys, treats, and cat tree. He’s perfectly litter box trained. Rocco is an inside only cat. He has never tried to run to the door or get out of his foster home. We believe he was an inside cat before he was abandoned. Rocco is neutered, rabies, FVRCP, microchip, dewormed, and he receives revolution, parasite prevention. He also free fed dry food and wats with food with gravy every day. Serious Adopters should fill out the application online and we will be in touch with you. We do ask for a vet reference to adopt an animal from this rescue and we call to verify your account. Rocco’s adoption fee is $195 and this cat is absolutely worth it. Please copy and paste this link into your browser and fill out the easy application online. https://form.jotform.com/232763732515154

Calcifurr is such a little baby! He loves to talk, he loves to be wherever you are, and he loves to snuggle. He is super playful, as well. He purrs basically as soon as you touch him. He enjoys the affection of other cats, so he would do well having a friend.

Story
Thank you for your interest in adopting. Rocco is a wonderful cat companion. We estimate him to be 15-18 months old and he weighs 10 pounds, from snacking with the kittens! Rocco was left my someone at a feral cat feeding station. He walked up to the feeder and meowed, letting her know he was new there. He walked into a crate without protest and never looked back! Rocco is loving, sweet, playful, active, and smart. He has mothered every kitten in his foster home. And he's been sweet on the female juvenile kitties in foster too. Rocco sets a good example in the kitty world for cats entering his foster home. Rocco would pair well with another cat, which will include hide & seek games, afternoon snuggles, and ear wax removal. Rocco is fostered in a Montevallo area foster home. We'd be happy to set up a meet and greet with an approved adopter. He has never lived with dogs. Adoption fee $175 Please copy and paste the link into your broswer to fill out the easy application online and someone will be in touch with you. https://form.jotform.com/232763732515154

Story
Mansha (short for Hemantya, meaning “snow-lion”) came to me Christmas 2024. She was a purrfect pooper from day 1, using the litter box without previous training. She’s been a loyal companion, and we’ve encountered few problems, and they usually came down to my inexperience with caring for indoor cats. She’s turned out to be an excellent cuddler, but has a high energetic/play drive, too. My physical debility has prevented me from giving her enough play time, regretfully. As it has progressed, I am facing having to move. Sadly, pets are not allowed for me, and we will have to say goodbye. I hope to find her a loving new home where she will have lots of opportunities for play and preferably remain indoors.

Story
Teddy is a 2 and a half year old gray kitty who has no tail! His mom was a bob tail and luck of the draw said he didn’t get one. I bottle fed him and have had him since. He is absolutely fearless. Everything he sees he wants explore including the outdoors! He loves to play with straws from your drink or the box his toys arrive in. Lived to jump around. And always has the late night zoomies. Loves to cuddle and doesn’t mind being picked up if he’s familiar with you. He also will greet anyone who comes through the door as if he’s known them forever. He’s a very good cat although he might get the 3 am zoomies. Only reason for rehoming is due to me joking the Airforce and needing a stable place for him to live

Story
Thank you for your interest in adopting Binx. Binks lives in a Montevallo Foster home and we would be happy to speak with you or set up a meet and greet soon. Binx is estimated to be 14-16 weeks. He weighs about 3 1/2 pounds, if that. He was found stray as a very young kitten. He had a high fever of 105 that resulted in his coat color change. It’s called fever coat! The fever affects the pigment in the coat or the melanin in the skin. His vet said that he should regrow his solid black color or he may stay the same with the gray fluffy undercoat. We don’t want to keep him in Rescue long enough to find out. He should be bonding with his family. Binx is amazing with other cats. He’s playful, active, agile, and funny! He’s got good manners and listens. He is litter box trained, and he will sit on the side of the litter box supervising the scooping. We hope that Binx finds a home where he can nap with his people. He head-butts, rubs against you, seeks you out while purring and wanting to give and receive love. Binx is healthy, neutered, rabies, FVRCP and boosters, dewormed, receives parasite prevention, and is a little sweetheart. He is free, fed, good quality, dry food, and he eats canned food every day, with a preference for gravy. Adoption fee $200 and worth the investment! Binx would pair well with O’Malley or one of our other kittens. He would pair well with Rocco, our young adult cat. They’ve all fostered together, played together, slept together, eaten together, and groomed one another. He has not been exposed to dogs. Vet reference required. If you put your veterinarian on the application, please call their office and ask them to release information on your account so that we can process your adoption quickly. Serious Adopters should fill out the application online. Copy and paste link into your browser. https://form.jotform.com/212574701956157

Story
Minnie is an absolute sweetheart. A good Samaritan brought her and her four kittens to us because they were living outside and were only being fed cow's milk. Minnie was skin and bones when she first arrived and it was heartbreaking. Her kittens were small and their growth was stunted, but overall they were healthy and well fed. Minnie was literally giving them all she had. She is estimated to be only a year old and is such a friendly girl even with all she has been through! Also, Minnie and her kittens are all named after synonyms for small.

Peaches is more of your typical orange cat! She is still just as sweet and loving as Apricot, but can have a lot of energy. She really loves playing and is a bit obsessed with treats!
