Story
Lucky 🍀 Although she is missing an eye and a tail, she still has a full personality! Lucky has lived through more change than most cats ever should. but through it all, she’s held onto her loving, loyal heart. Around 5 years old, tiny and fluffy, Lucky first came into our lives after her original owner passed away, leaving her and many other cats to survive outside. She already was missing the eye and tail and we don’t know what happened, but it didn’t seem to bother her at all. She was rescued along with her siblings and thought to have found her forever home…until tragedy struck again and her second owner also passed away. Once more, Lucky found herself outside, relying on the kindness of a neighbor who made sure she was fed and safe. Now, Lucky is ready for a truly forever home. The kind that will stick. Lucky is the kind of cat people mean when they say “more like a dog.” She will happily follow you from room to room, keeping you company while you go about your day. She’s incredibly routine-oriented and will make sure you stay on schedule, especially when it comes to her favorite things: wet food and playtime with her beloved wand toy. She will remind you, with her adorable little chirps and squeaks. Lucky isn’t much of a meower, she’s more of a conversationalist, always ready to chat with her people. When the day winds down, Lucky is all about the snuggles. She’ll curl up next to you on the couch, happy just to be close. She has a gentle, affectionate nature that really shines once she feels safe. As for other cats, Lucky may prefer to be your one-and-only or would need a very slow, thoughtful introduction. She’s been in a hoarding situation before, but seems to like all the attention to herself now. One thing that’s important for Lucky: she loves having access to the outdoors. After everything she’s been through, she enjoys the freedom of being outside during the day, but she absolutely wants to come back inside at night to be with her people. A safe indoor/outdoor home would be her dream. Lucky has proven time and time again that she’s resilient, loving, and deeply devoted to her humans. Now she just needs someone to give her the stability and love she’s been missing. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will follow you, talk to you, and snuggle up at the end of the day Lucky is your girl. Text 720-563-7141 to learn more

Story
Trouble is part of a litter of 4 that popped into my life around November of last year after her mother decided to worm her way out of the house. He's a sweetheart that has grown to be rather affectionate and laid back, he earned his name when he was only a few weeks old- he and his sister Mischief would do all sorts of climbing, jumping, and generally causing a ruckus through the house! Luckily he and his sister have grown out of this phase... but that doesn't mean they'll lose their titles! I'll be making a profile for Mischief soon after I make this one and I hope any aspiring cat owner comes in to take both of them as a package deal, they both always snuggle up with each other and I'd hate to see them separated.

Story
Introducing Emma! She's a smart little girl. She even knows her name! And she has one of the nicest purrs ever. Emma is a demure beautiful kitten with a pristine white coat. She sports a coordinating hat and a full dark tail. At 6 months old, Emma is really coming into her own. She loves the other cats and has even wanted to take a closer look at the dog (on the other side of the gate). A nice calm dog would be okay with her and of course she must have a friendly, playful kitty friend in her new home. Older children who aren’t rambunctious would be fine too. A safe enjoyable yard to explore is a must. What could be better than lounging in the grass on a warm sunny day with her family! She is in Wasilla. Please call 907-350-8089. EMMA HAS BEEN SPONSORED BY VETSY HEPLER MCKITRICK; EMMA MAY BE ADOPTED TO A LOVING FAMILY FOR $40!

Story
Penny is a surprise. A wonderful happy surprise. She is one of those unusual senior cats who not only endures the company of nice children. But she really enjoys their company. Repeat--nice children. Those quiet, gentle kids who play with her in an easy loving way, who cuddle her when she is ready for cuddles, and who let her nap when it's time to nap. She loves to share company with nice kids and seems to miss them when they are away. Penny is a lovely super calm girl with a black and white coat and striking white whiskers. She's about 10 years old. She loves her people big and little but she prefers to be the only cat in the house. She's happy to give you all the sweet cat attention you would like so that other furry creatures are not needed. She would be the best family cat for a home with kind, gentle kids. And a yard where she can go outside in the summer to walk in the green grass would be perfect. In Homer but a ride north is possible.
