Story
Sometimes, all you need is a slightly deranged kitten to break up the winter blues and teach you how to be a kitten-at-heart. Benji came to rescue developmentally stalled. You see, since birth he lived in survival mode on the streets, hungry and lonely and didn’t get a chance to be a kitten. His foster mom tried to play with the wand toy with him and get him to come out from hiding to no avail. Enter FuBU, a 3-lb black kitten fearless and full of exuberant kitten energy. Play! Chase! Tackle! Snacks! Pets! Explore! FuBU was ready to do it all. On first introduction, FuBU ran up to Benji’s watermelon house. Benji hissed at him, “go away!” FuBU was undeterred and determined to win him over. He climbed on top of the watermelon house and collapsed it, quite literally breaking down the protective walls Benji had put up. Benji had no choice but to accept him and from then on, they’ve been inseparable and Benji got a 2nd chance to learn how to be a kitten! Benji continues to blossom with FuBU’s love and has learned to trust humans. Best of all, he’s learned how to play! The boys wrestle and chase each other around the house. They do amazing acrobatics with the cat wand. They both want to be close to their human and the dog. Benji will follow his human from room to room. He will slow blink you as you sit on the toilet. He will slow blink you from the doorway when you’re in bed. He will get up next to you on the couch and curl up and slow blink you as you read a book. He is a complete loverboy. Petting is still a new concept to Benji that is being slowing introduced following the Socialization Saves Lives program. Right now, he likes to play a gentle version of Pat-a- Cake. If you stick out your hand, Benji will put his paw (with no nail) on your hand and look at you with his big round green eyes, “is this how we play?” He is truly the gentlest of souls, always checking on the other rescue who is still in a kennel. He will sleep on top of her cage, sing to her, and rub up against her kennel. He will also check on FuBU and do brotherly tasks such as clean him when he’s got Churu on his head. Benji will soon be the ultimate companion cat. The cat that wants to always be with his humans and is giving all the signs he will be an absolute cuddle bug soon! He has beautiful markings; a white chest and matching socks with green eyes and is the most handsome of boys. He purrs when you feed him and his favorite activity is playing chase “da Bird” cat wand or “it’s raining treats!” which is when his foster mom throws up a handful of treats for him to pounce on. FuBU, on the other hand, is a little wild man. He is brazen and bold. Nothing scares him. Nothing deters him. He loves kids and dogs. He loves to snuggle and cuddle and chase, pounce, and play. His name comes from when his foster mama was asked if she wanted a “Friendly But Ugly” kitten. Of course she said yes! And he’s grown into his ears and looks while his personality remains big! Turns out, a slightly deranged kitten is exactly what both Benji and his foster mom needed to remind themselves that life is too short to not play and have fun! We are looking for a home for these boys to keep them together. They’ve proven they’ll do well in pretty much any situation as long as they have each other and are given time to adjust. They both love other kitties and are friendly with nice dogs and kids. Benji is around 10 months old and FuBU is about 3 1/2 months old. They are in Anchorage. Call 907 980-8898

Story
Meet Lucille and Boo-Berry a bonded pair of girls. Boo is a beautiful, short-hair black kitten with amazing eyes. Sometimes they are moonlight gold and sometimes they are green. Boo is approximately six months old and came to live indoors in November. She was a little nervous of people and kept a close eye on the happenings of the household. It didn't take long before she began to trust, play, accept love, and purr. Then Lucille came. A spunky, medium-hair grey kitten who has grown into her fur. Sometimes she still has bad-hair days 😊 She has grown from a quarter of pound to over four pounds. Luci is full of love and barged into Boo’s life. Boo helped keep Luci clean and snuggled with her when she slept. She allowed Luci to nudge her from her own food bowl. Whatever this little punkster wants is okay with Boo! So much life and love in such a little bundle. Now they are together playing, sleeping, eating and exploring. No corner or laser light is safe from an attack from either of them. Watch their tails joyfully sway back and forth as they interact with you. Consider opening your home to this pair and you will not regret it – they are so much fun! Messages us or text 720-563-7141 for more info!

Story
This is the love story ❤❤ of Mel and Chippy. And for them, the love will be for a lifetime. They hope they can share it with a happy loving family.😽😽 Mel was born in a litter of kittens and when they were very young, she and her siblings and her mom went into a foster home. They played and cuddled and did the usual fun inside kitten things. Not long after they arrived, another kitten arrived all by himself. He had been found outside in a yard all alone. No mom. No sisters or brothers. He was a sad little kitten who hovered behind furniture and avoided people as much as he could. They ❤🥰❤t on, Chippy had a real friend! He and Mel became inseparable. Mel brought Chippy into the fold and he became a part of the family. But Mel was, and is, his most beloved best friend. They are teenagers now. Maybe 7 months old. Chippy is a big footed and big eared tiger boy who looks like he might turn out to be a big boy. Mel is a lovely gray tuxedo. They are so cute together. And it seems obvious that the only thing to do when looking for homes for them is to find them the same home, where they can be happy and have their loved ones with them as they brave the transition to a new place and people and maybe another cat. They do fine with other nice kitties. If you want to never feel like your kitty is lonely again, adopt this sweet pair. Chippy is still shy but Mel loves to be pet by her trusted and loving people. If you give them a chance to settle into your home and family and the rhythms of your life, they will make you happy every day. In Wasilla. Please call 907 980-8898 to find out more.
