Story
We’re sadly looking to rehome our sweet 4-year-old cat. We adopted him as a kitten, and he’s been a loving part of our family ever since. He recently lost his cat companion and has been lonely and bored. With a new baby at home, we can’t give him the attention he deserves. He’s very sweet, great with kids, and affectionate once he warms up. He’s healthy, lean, with a silky low-shedding coat, fully litter box trained, and enjoys being indoors and outdoors. We’re hoping to find him a loving home where he can get lots of attention and companionship. If you think you might be a good fit, we’d love to hear from you

Story
James was part of a cat colony in Houston. From this property we have received more than a dozen cats - all being incredibly loving and desperate for attention. James is just as friendly as his brothers. But with being the oldest brother, he tends to sit back and let Larry & Hans get the first round of pets. Don’t let his lack of demand fool you! He loves pets and scratches. James has loved the opportunity to play with toys and is certainly happy to have a full belly, but what he has enjoyed most is having a soft cozy bed. James could make a great addition to most homes. Though we anticipate him doing well with other animals, thoughtful and slow introductions should take place!

Hans was part of a cat colony in Houston. From this property we have received more than a dozen cats - all being incredibly loving and desperate for attention. Hans is very social and friendly. He loves everyone he meets! His only ‘flaw’ is that he is easy to trip over as he is always at your feet, asking for some love! Hans has loved the opportunity to play with toys and snuggle in beds but his absolute favorite thing is yummy treats. Hans could make a great addition to most homes. Though we anticipate him doing well with other animals, thoughtful and slow introductions should take place!

Story
Raina is a long term resident. When she was brought to the shelter she was fearful and needed time to adapt and to truly feel safe. Though Raina can still be shy, she has a beautifully sweet personality. We do not know if Raina has lived with other animals or honestly, if she has lived in a real home. During her time in the shelter she has not been bothered by the other kitties - introductions should still remain slow! Raina has the softest purrs and enjoys soft head pets. She seems to enjoy being in high spaces and would certainly enjoy having a cat tree of her own! Raina will likely be overwhelmed in busy homes, with small children and rambunctious dogs. She would do best adapting to a smaller, quieter space first in her new home. Though Raina tends to take things slow, she is worth getting to know!
