Story
Leon is one of three 14-year-old cats that came from the same household. All of these senior cats are very loving and sweet - each deserve a home that will pamper them with soft beds, soft foods, play time (yes senior cats still like to play), and windows to look out to catch some sun rays. Leon has only 3 teeth left so soft food will definitely be required. Leon is extremely social with people. Laps for sitting in are high on his list of things he likes. Will you give Leon a new home to live out his years in comfort? Leon’s adoption fee of $50 includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FELV, microchipping, and a complimentary wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. To meet Leon, please call 602-971-1334 to schedule an appointment for any day of the week. Walk-ins are also welcome during our normal adoption hours on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Home Fur Good Animal Rescue is located at 10220 North 32nd Street, just south of Shea Blvd in Phoenix.

Story
Meet Thursday, a lucky stray Tabby that was found by people willing to help her. Born in September 2025, she’s still a kitten who now needs a forever home that will keep her indoors. While spending time with her finders, they learned that she is very affectionate with humans, but she was very wary of their others cats. Thursday is now spending time in our Free Roam Room, and so far, she isn’t yet a fan of other cats. This could change with time, but it may be that she needs to be an only cat. What she wants is a human who will love and care for her in a safe space every day of the week. Thursday’s adoption fee of $150 includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FELV, microchipping, and a complimentary wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. Thursday is currently at PetSmart located near Scottsdale Rd and Mayo Blvd (7077 E Mayo Blvd., Scottsdale) so stop by the store to see her. If you are interested in meeting or adopting Thursday, call Home Fur Good at 602.971.1334 and let us know you are interested in a cat at PetSmart. We’ll work with you to set up an appointment at PetSmart for the cat meet & greet.

Story
Hi everyone! My name is Luca and I’m looking for a place to call home for Christmas. I come all the way from Sedona, where my rescuers found me running around a resort. I used to call that place my home, but it was hard because I had to walk around begging new tourists to give me some scraps of food and a fresh bowl of water. Luckily, I was always well fed. I’m guessing that’s due to my charming personality and stunning good looks. Nights in Sedona were even harder because it was so cold in Sedona and it was nearly impossible to find a warm place to sleep for the night. I’ve never truly had a place to call home and a warm bed to sleep on every night. I’ve never had a family that loves me. I’ve never had stability. But hopefully that will all change now if you think that I’m the companion that you’ve always been looking for! My rescuers saw something very special in me when they first laid eyes on me. I was very thirsty and hungry when I strolled into their room, and they gladly fed me and cared for me. They even let me sleep on their bed every night! They instantly knew that I was not destined to spend my life living outside. I am far too loving and kind for that. My rescuers looked far and wide for my owner. But I wasn’t microchipped and my rescuers were told that I’ve been hanging around that resort for over a year now. Perhaps my previous owner left me behind and abandoned me. Don’t let my cut ear scare you! I had it cut a long time ago when the scary veterinarians neutered me and tipped my ear, so that everyone knew I lived outside and wasn’t accidentally picked up by animal control. Regardless, it’s time for me to leave behind my life of being a homeless and outdoor cat. It’s time for me to find my forever home. My rescuers tell me that I have a very gentle soul. I’m not your average stray cat by any means. I love humans and human contact. I absolutely love cuddles, I love to be pet, and I’ll follow you around wherever you go. I’m not too interested in toys, but maybe that’s just because I’ve never had any. I’ve never bitten or scratched anyone. I love to purr and my purrs are VERY loud. Im pretty chill and laid back. I don’t run around the house, I don’t have zoomies, and my overall energy levels are pretty low. I am good around other cats but I don’t have any experience being around dogs. I’m sure I’ll be fine around dogs too, but all I ask is that you give us a proper and slow introduction. I have been seen by a vet and cleared for adoption. The vet said that I am very healthy. I tested NEGATIVE for FeLV, NEGATIVE for FIV, and NEGATIVE for heartworms. I am neutered, vaccinated, have a microchip and have been fully dewormed. If you are interested in meeting me, please call or text: 703-909-1779.

Story
Opalite came to her foster home determined to make a little sunshine of her own, even though the world is still new and sometimes scary after life on the streets. She’s a delicate soul who is slowly learning the comforts of indoor living, discovering that soft beds, kind voices, and full bowls are all part of her new beginning. Opalite will thrive in a calm, quiet home with someone who has patience and a loving heart. Having another kitten or young cat by her side would help her blossom and feel safe as she grows. And if you’re wondering how to win her over—wet food is definitely the way to her heart. With time, love, and understanding, Opalite is sure to shine brighter every day.

Like the lotus, I am a blossomed beautiful flower who loves to be admired for my beauty. One of my signature beauty traits is having eyeliner surrounding only one of my eyes. But unlike a flower, I am very loud and vocal! I sometimes find entertainment in conversations with people, and I like to speak my mind; I can be very opinionated. I am a very sweet girl! I love when I get cuddle time! Although I do love spending my time with people, I can be independent and go off and do my own thing sometimes; it’s nice to get some quiet relaxation time in every now and then. I’m also not a high energy girl, but I love wand toys! I will not be a play buddy, but I am good with coexisting with other cats. Btw, I looooooove wet food, a little too much. Please keep an eye on the quantity of how much I intake at a time. My Highlights… Vocal Sweet Can be independent Not high energy Loves cuddlesMy Quirks… Can co-exist with other cats Not a play buddy LOVES wet food Loves wand toys
