Story
Meet Sophia. This sweet four-month-old kitten has already been through more than any baby should. Sophia was brought to us by Avondale Animal Control after someone left her in a carrier inside a store and simply walked away. We may never know why, but what we do know is that Sophia hasn’t let it change her loving spirit. Sophia is an incredibly sweet, gentle soul who absolutely adores people and wants to be around her humans as much as possible. One of her cutest habits is standing up on her little back feet and reaching her paws up for attention. She also rolls over like a puppy and happily shows off her adorable little tricks just to get some love. She is affectionate, playful, and full of love to give. Sophia would do wonderfully in a home with kids or adults who are looking for a sweet and devoted companion. With slow introductions she should do well with other cats, and we believe she could adjust to a dog after a little time. Sophia truly deserves a safe, loving home where she will never be left behind again.

Story
Stripes mother and father were strays and a family was taking care of them trying to find them a home. Stripe joined our family as a kitten and is now a year old. As he has grown up we discovered he has a condition where he gets stressed out easily, we may think he also have anxiety. Stripe is a lover and can be very playful once he warms up to you. He does good with dogs but can be very stressed around kids and loud noises.

Story
Pippy is one of three 14-year-old cats that came from the same household. All of these senior cats are very loving and sweet - each deserve a home that will pamper them with soft beds, soft foods, play time (yes senior cats still like to play), and windows to look out to catch some sun rays. Pippy has only 4 teeth left so soft food will definitely be required. Pippy is social with people allowing petting while she’s exploring. Her breed is a bit of torbie (cross or tabby with tortoiseshell) with a splash of white at the very end of her tail. It’s adorable. Will you give Pippy a new home to live out her years in comfort? Pippy’s adoption fee of $50 includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FELV, microchipping, and a complimentary wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. To meet Pippy, please call 602-971-1334 to schedule an appointment for any day of the week. Walk-ins are also welcome during our normal adoption hours on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Home Fur Good Animal Rescue is located at 10220 North 32nd Street, just south of Shea Blvd in Phoenix.
