Story
Adopted him as a kitten around 2011 from a shelter I volunteered at in high school, where he received all his shots and was already neutered. His microchip likely has the name "Beau", but I named him Hyde (Mr Hyde, Hydey-poo). He had an adorable short tail that he would wag like a dog, and as a kitten was very energetic and would climb my clothes all the way up to my shoulder. Hyde is a cat that everyone who met him has loved, even if they were not a cat-person. Now, as an elderly cat, he is much less energetic but still likes to play with string. He is very affectionate, especially after feeding him some wet food. I feed him wet food once or twice a day. He loves to rest on the bed and look out the window and hang out with me while I work at my desk. He cuddles nightly and doesn't mind being picked up almost like a rag doll. I am moving across the country for a new job where I can't keep him, and unfortunately I can't wait for him to pass away as this opportunity will pass.

Story
His name is Macchiato. He’s a 2 year old orange tabby looking for a new home. He’s a bit timid, but very curious and playful once you get to know him. All vaccines up to date to 2 years old. He’s neutered and in good health. Rehoming him because of unexpected life changes. I need to move long distance within the next few weeks and he can’t come with me. I’d much prefer to find him a nice home as opposed to surrendering him to a shelter. He does very well with other animals. If interested, please reach out to me at (xxx) xxx-xxxx .

Story
Free. No adoption fee. Little Misty showed up on our apartment porch one evening with a litter of kittens. Misty had reportedly been living homeless outside the complex for several weeks. The apartment manager of our complex managed to catch all of her kittens and found homes for them. Out of sympathy, we caught momma (Misty) and realized that she was domesticated, likely owned as a kitten by one of the apartment residents and abandoned. When we took her to the vet, we learned that she was 8 months old. She is now about 1 year old. She was spayed at the vet office, received vaccinations, and had flee/tick removal. She LOVES being pet and is VERY docile (no scratching, no hissing, biting, etc). She can be on the shy side, but would make a great pet for someone patient looking for a low maintenance, sweet, young-adult cat. I would keep her myself, but I live in a small apartment and already have another cat. She is litter box trained and gets along well with other cats.

We love Milo, but he is not compatible with the dog we adopted from a family member. Milo is sweet and loves to play, but he needs space to roam and is unhappy inside. Ideally you have some land he can roam in where he can be independent.

Story
Meet Sage 🌿😸 Sage is a resilient kitten with a big heart and a very sweet personality. After suffering an injury that required removal of the head of her femur, Sage has made a full recovery and is now healed, happy, and ready for her forever home. Sage had a procedure called a femoral head ostectomy (FHO). This surgery is commonly performed in kittens and cats when the hip joint has been damaged due to injury or trauma. In this procedure, the ball part of the hip joint (the head of the femur) is removed. While that may sound alarming, cats do extremely well with this surgery. Instead of a traditional hip joint, the body forms a strong, smooth “false joint” made of muscle and scar tissue, which allows the leg to move comfortably without bone-on-bone pain. Long-term expectations 😸No special daily care is required 😸 No medications are needed 😸 She may have a slightly different gait or favor the leg occasionally, especially when tired or after heavy play 😸She should maintain a healthy weight, as excess weight can strain the hip area 😸Regular play and activity help keep the muscles strong. Her foster home has steps but she can jump on and off couches, chairs etc. She loves chasing toy mice and balls around and goes up and stairs without issue. We do recommend she not be allowed on very high surfaces she’d need to jump from for a couple months to ensure full healing. Despite her rough start, Sage is outgoing, friendly, and full of playful energy. She loves toys, interactive playtime, and exploring her surroundings. When she’s done playing, she’s more than happy to curl up for cuddles and soak up affection. Sage would do wonderfully in a home with another playful pet who can match her energy and keep her entertained. She would also be okay with children, as long as they are respectful and gentle and understand how to handle a kitty kindly. Sage’s past doesn’t define her—she’s thriving, loving, and ready to bring joy, fun, and snuggles to a family who will cherish her. If you’re looking for a sweet, brave, and playful companion, Sage may be the perfect match. 💚
