Story
Willow is a very easy going cat. she is 10 years old but has always been an indoor cat, so she seems younger than she is. She is great with kids, teens, adults, cats and dogs. She still gets the zoomies every now and then, lol. Willow loves to be picked up, cuddles and pets. She is litter box trained and does not have accidents. She has never bit or scratched me or anyone in the house. She is also not shy, as it takes no time for her to warm up to new people or pets. Honestly, she is an ideal kitty for any family! Unfortunately, I have to rehome her as my living and financial situation has changed. I also have 3 large cat trees (and one small one), 7 packs of Pretty Litter, two litter boxes, a cat carrier, and a full bag of cat food I would pass along to Willows new owner. She is a great cat and will do so well in any new home. Just a reminder, she has always been an indoor cat and does not have any interest in going outside. If you want a cuddly cat, Willow is perfect for you.

Story
Shadow is looking for a home. She is very loving and seems to play well with the other cats around the neighborhood. She has had two litters in the past. She is about a year old from what the vet told us. She did get her rabies shot but that is it. She is very food driven and very sweet once she trusts you and can be a little clingy. But also very silly when she wants to be. She’ll even do biscuits when excited for pets. She is not fond of going to the vet, however has fallen asleep on the trip to it a few times now. And just to restate, she is fixed. And had her rabies shot. Please apply if interested 🫶

Good with cats,
Story
Snowy is kitten about a year old or less. He along with his other siblings were found and come to us often to be fed. He was very hesitant at first to meet us but warmed up quickly after seeing his siblings do the same. Snowy is definitely a kitten of habit and seems to enjoy cozy sunlit spots to perch himself next to. Snowy will definitely become a cuddle bug once he feels safe. While he is a very smart and independent kitten, and he love playfully roll over and show me his belly multiple times just because he’s excited for pets. A motivator that Snowy seems to go for and get out of his shell for is food. He has purred multiple times and even drooled whenever he is waiting for his turn to be given a treat or fed. He has also been a great caretaker/Dad for one of Shadow’s (mom) new litter kittens. And has kept watch and guard over the new kitten when Momma cat was gone.

Story
We’ve been fostering a loving cat named Stella and are hoping to find her the calm forever home she deserves. She came to us in July after her previous owner faced difficult circumstances, and we wanted to keep her out of the shelter. At six years old she’s often overlooked, but she quickly won our hearts. Stella has blossomed with us, going from shy to affectionate and fully integrated. She’s litter box trained, snuggly, playful, great with kids, curious, and very people oriented. She’s healthy, vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on vet care. She loves indoor life, enjoys lap naps during the day, feather wand play at night, and purrs nonstop. Stella is a sensitive cat who thrives in a peaceful home. Our household is loving but intense due to our son’s special needs, and it’s clear she’d be happiest in a calmer environment where she can relax and bond deeply. She’s truly a gem. If you’re looking for a devoted companion, Stella may be your perfect match.

Story
Chester is a playful, loving and sweet soul looking for a gentle and kind adopter. His most endearing characteristic is his communication. He is a real talker, making little chirps and peeps and meows and squeaks as he prances through life. If you are willing to be patient with him as he adjusts to a new home he will make it worth your while in purrs, pets and devoted companionship. We believe Chester was abandoned in our neighborhood at about 9 months old. Due to his time spent outside without resources or a sense of security and shelter, he needs a home where he is the only kitty. Sharing is hard for him because he never knew where his next meal was coming from before he found us. If we didn’t own 4 cats already, we would happily keep him. He’s currently living indoors as we have a large spare bedroom but he would easily transition back to the indoor/outdoor life in a safe neighborhood. He is fully litter box trained and doesn’t spray or mark.

Story
Meet Buddy, a personable, 2-year-old grey tabby with a heart as big as his curiosity. This lovable, social boy was found in late May bravely darting through traffic and was luckily rescued unharmed. Since then, we’ve nurtured him with care and now he’s microchipped, vaccinated, litter-trained, and even harness-trained for safe outdoor adventures. Buddy is playful, affectionate, and loves the company of other cats. He thrives in a cat-friendly home but isn’t fond of dogs or young children, so a calmer environment would suit him best. With his gentle nature and curious spirit, Buddy will make a wonderful companion and quickly become a cherished member of the right family. We wish we could keep him ourselves, but with four rescues already, we’re hoping to find him the loving home he deserves. If you’re looking for a sweet, social, and playful feline friend, Buddy is your guy. ❤️

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Brief Bio:Penny was a stray cat that came to Front Street with a significant tail injury. She ultimately had to have it amputated (vet letter attached). She has been in foster care since her amputation recovering and learning to live without a tail. She has shown amazing resilience and is looking forward to finding her forever home.Summary of Personality: Penny is the sweetest kitten. Even with all of the medical challenges she has faced, she has always been friendly and happy. She wore a cone while she recovered from surgery without complaint and has even tolerated kitty diapers. She does not like taking medicine, but luckily she doesn’t need any more at this time. She loves cuddles, belly rubs and being pet behind her ears. She is playful and curious and gets along well with other cats. She is social and enjoys being around people.Home Life (experience with kids & other pets, etc): Penny currently lives in a house with children, other cats and dogs. She has not been around the dogs directly, but she has spent time with kids and other cats. She is easy going and gets along with both well. She has not shown any signs of being timid with regard to normal household noises. She acclimates easily and is curious and friendly.Include any observations: Penny is litterbox trained. She does have some incontinence (leaking) which happens mostly when she is either very relaxed (sleeping) or when there is some pressure on her bladder. The vet letter goes over this as well. This is something that may improve with time. She has tried kitten diapers, which she tolerated very well.Is your foster litter box trained?: Yes

Domestic Shorthair

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Brief Bio:Tortuga is a stunning tortoise shell female that is shy (especially hand shy initially) and needs time to trust new people and places in her life. All she wants is to be loved and a home that will show her what “permanent” looks like. She enjoys getting pets and love and purrs easily once she trusts you. If you are willing to meet her where she`s at and go slowly, she is going to shower with appreciation.Summary of Personality:Tortuga is quite the chatty girl. She meows to let you know she’s ready for attention, love, and of course…food and treats! She`s still nervous around new toys, sounds, and people but she`s come a long, long way in building her confidence! She loves to get pet and loved on. She can get a little mouthy if she`s over stimulated. Her new family will want to have her in a smaller area with no or very limited hiding spaces (like under a dresser or bed) until she gains her footing and confidence in her new surroundings.Home Life (experience with kids & other pets, etc):Tortuga absolutely adores the 2 resident cats who visit her room. She perks up instantly and follows them and rubs up against them. She would flourish with a feline friend but probably best with one that`s pretty chill, at least initially. She`s not been around dogs but a very mellow (smaller?) dog might be a fit with slow, proper introductions and monitoring. Tortuga is likely not well suited for a loud, active environment or smaller children.Include any observations of being house trained (or not):Tortuga uses the litter box in her foster home. Her new family will want to make sure she knows where the litter box is in her new home before giving Jett full house access. Is your foster litter box trained?:Yes
