Free. No adoption fee. Little Misty showed up on our apartment porch one evening with a litter of kittens. Misty had reportedly been living homeless outside the complex for several weeks. The apartment manager of our complex managed to catch all of her kittens and found homes for them. Out of sympathy, we caught momma (Misty) and realized that she was domesticated, likely owned as a kitten by one of the apartment residents and abandoned. When we took her to the vet, we learned that she was 8 months old. She is now about 1 year old. She was spayed at the vet office, received vaccinations, and had flee/tick removal. She LOVES being pet and is VERY docile (no scratching, no hissing, biting, etc). She can be on the shy side, but would make a great pet for someone patient looking for a low maintenance, sweet, young-adult cat. I would keep her myself, but I live in a small apartment and already have another cat. She is litter box trained and gets along well with other cats.

Adopted him as a kitten around 2011 from a shelter I volunteered at in high school, where he received all his shots and was already neutered. His microchip likely has the name "Beau", but I named him Hyde (Mr Hyde, Hydey-poo). He had an adorable short tail that he would wag like a dog, and as a kitten was very energetic and would climb my clothes all the way up to my shoulder. Hyde is a cat that everyone who met him has loved, even if they were not a cat-person. Now, as an elderly cat, he is much less energetic but still likes to play with string. He is very affectionate, especially after feeding him some wet food. I feed him wet food once or twice a day. He loves to rest on the bed and look out the window and hang out with me while I work at my desk. He cuddles nightly and doesn't mind being picked up almost like a rag doll. I am moving across the country for a new job where I can't keep him, and unfortunately I can't wait for him to pass away as this opportunity will pass.

His name is Macchiato. He’s a 2 year old orange tabby looking for a new home. He’s a bit timid, but very curious and playful once you get to know him. All vaccines up to date to 2 years old. He’s neutered and in good health. Rehoming him because of unexpected life changes. I need to move long distance within the next few weeks and he can’t come with me. I rescued Kiki along with her sister Maya. Kiki is a sweet female chocolate tabby kitten with a playful spirit and fun personality. She may be a little timid at first, but once she feels comfortable, her curious and fun-loving personality shines through. Kiki enjoys playtime and can be held, making her a wonderful cuddle companion. She weighs 4.9 lbs. and is bonded with Maya, likely her sibling, and the two are happiest together. Kiki would thrive in a loving home where she can feel safe, play, and grow with her best friend. Kiki is spayed, microchipped, and has all her services up to date (rabies, initialfvrcp vaccine, tested negative FELV/FIV), so she is ready for her forever home, along with her sister Maya. I adopted Willow 4 years ago as a kitten from my local humane society. She is a sweet cat. She is house trained and is an inside cat. She is super low key and easy. But she is timid of loud or unexpected sounds or movements. She will cuddle next to you and lay on you. Shes just very cautious. Having her in a quiet house would be ideal for her. She doesn't meow a lot and has the sweetest softest meow when she does. Her fur is so soft like a rabbit. She's super low key and easy. She doesn't go on my counters and doesn't tear up any furniture. She uses her cat box always. She's a great cat, so sweet. I have never re-homed an animal, so this is was a hard decision. I need to do what's best for her and that would be at a calmer house.

We found Bizkit as a kitten abandoned and scared. He quickly became part of the family. He loves to cuddle and chill out with you and he LOVES to eat his kibble. He is also quite adventurous and enjoys exploring the outdoors but he always comes home. We love this boy but we recently had to move and the new place that we found unfortunately does not allow pets. He went to stay with a family member but they are getting too old to care for him properly and give him the attention he needs. He has been having issues with spraying recently but this is largely due to his current caregiver being unable to clean his litter box daily. He is a larger cat weighing around 16 pounds at the moment so multiple litter boxes would be ideal for him if possible. He is really such a sweet cat and deserves a family that can care for him fully and show him love.

Wave is a short haired, black, neutered male born in April 2024. During his weaning period from the bottle, his care team recognized that something was off about his digestive tract-it’s…crappy 😅. With help from Happy Tails Animal Hospital and his SUPERHERO foster, Wendy, we determined that he is unable to tell when he’s full and has some physical defects in his hips. Despite his rocky start, he has always been a happy, playful, outgoing, and “normal” cat. His Akita nanny taught him a few puppy behaviors, so he can be playfully nippy with fingers, but never aggressive. Our dream home is one with a dog, windows to sun himself in, and that will cuddle him. He is a 100% indoor only cat who needs a low/moderate energy family with a consistent schedule. He is startled by sudden loud noises-but recovers quickly. He can happily live with cats who will play with him and does well with kids 13+. Once in a while, a solid small poop finds its way out of the box and advanced imaging with a specialist may provide more insight. His ongoing needs are a daily dash of MiraLAX and unconditional love. Did we mention he LOVES dogs and the vet office?!

Are you Jon’s soulmate? Jon initially joined us in 2021 as a fearful kitten from an apartment complex in Green Valley from a Campus Cat Coalition, Inc. project. Our little Green Lantern was shy, but warmed up quickly for pets, fishy treats, and baby talk from his foster mom. We found what we thought was a loving home in 01/2022, but received the horrifying news in 12/2023 from Solano County Sheriff's Office Animal Care Division that he was relinquished by a hoarder. His foster team had tremendous feelings of failure and guilt for inadvertently placing him into this dangerous and neglectful situation and arrived at their facility within 15 minutes to pick him up and begin rebuilding the hero he once was. For two months, his foster mom watched him go from trembling and shaking to beginning to recognize her voice again as a safe thing. Lots of treats, praise, play, and help from other foster cats gradually helped him recognize that he was no longer going to be scruffed, shoved into a carrier, and transported back and forth in an effort to hide he and the other animals from the landlord. His foster mom needed surgery and asked one of our newer team members and her daughter if they would continue helping Johnny heal from his ordeal. Then, something amazing happened. Within 2 weeks, he was taking treats and starting to play and then he started to make rapid progress into a timid at times, affectionate boy. In 01/2025, his foster posted an update of him playing in the house with strangers watching him. In 02/2025, he was integrated into the full house and asking for pets. Everyday he becomes a little more confident and secure in himself and has surpassed all of our expectations. Johnny is a gentle, shy, and intelligent cat who thrives on verbal praise, consistency, and patience. We have been gently working on his cooperative care skills and being picked up (not carried). He has lived with animals of all kinds and his insecurities are primarily about his bodily autonomy. Our dream home would be a kitten foster parent! He truly enjoys the company of younger cats and teaches them how to play. He likes his teenaged-human foster sister and has been sitting on the couch with strangers. We know he will need an adjustment period and may take a one step back initially. We never give up on our heroes and hope to find him a home that will love him as unconditionally as we have.

Where his siblings preferred to preform and explore, Indy was always close to his foster mom away from the action. Unlike most kittens, he’s not a tiny dinosaur who will torment your senior cats; instead he’s happy to patiently wait to be groomed, spooned, and swooned over. He has been raised with dogs, cats, and occasional teenaged visitors. He is seeking a 100% indoor-only for life home that has a little less bustle than the average home.
