"Mama" [call her "mama" and she will echo it back] loves the outdoors in short spurts for walkabouts, but is happy to be indoors too, especially if she gets to bump up against your legs to say hello, sleep against her human at night. she gets the zoomies sometimes and loves to play with wand toys.

Joker is an approximately 11-year-old male cat who has been very loved and cared for throughout his life. Unfortunately, he has a long-standing elimination issue that has made a traditional indoor home increasingly difficult for him. He does not reliably use a litter box and instead generally urinates on potty pads, & he may defecate while moving through the house. He also has a tumor on his back paw & overbite. He has been evaluated by a veterinarian, & no medical cause was found for his elimination issues and the tumor is benign. Different approaches to managing or correcting the behavior have also been attempted over the years without lasting success. Despite this issue, Joker is not being considered for placement because he is unwanted. Quite the opposite. I love him tremendously and have struggled with this decision for a long time. I am preparing to relocate, & the upcoming move has forced me to make this decision. I would love to find someone who would allow visits/ or updates.

Pepper is a very curious and adventurous cat. She is sweet and affectionate when she’s in the mood. In fact, she can be so affectionate that she drools! It’s adorable. She is very playful and loves her pop up play house and tunnel. Pepper seems to want to go outside, and it has impacted our dogs because we can’t leave the dog door available. Our concern with Pepper is that she seems to have Anxiety. We live a busy lifestyle with lots of teens around, two big dogs (who Pepper appears to like) but she seems to hide and then get upset. I think Pepper would be happier in a quieter home, as the only cat or with fewer other pets. I don’t condone outdoor cats but if it were safe I think she’d make a great indoor/outdoor or barn cat. She is currently on 2 pills a day of Gabapentin. It has had inconsistent results.
