Story
He’s a good cat and uniquely smart. He is 2 years old. He’s a big cuddly cat once he gets used to knowing someone. He loves to walk by you and do a small jump and rub on you. He comes to you when you are sitting in the couch and just lays on your legs. He seeks attention when he desires it. He loves snacks and he’s a friendly cat with other cats. We are saddened to let him go and want to keep him but our situation is difficult at the moment. We do want him to have a nice loving home.

Story
Luna and her brother Leo are 2yr old tabbies and were given to us by a friend of the family who was moving and unfortunately not able to bring them with. Our family has enjoyed their company for the last few months but our other cat is having a hard time adjusting to having two new cats around. We would like to find a new loving home for these two sweet cats. Both are very playful, friendly, and love cuddles. Luna is very outgoing and playful. Leo is a bit shy at first, but once he warms up to you he is incredibly sweet. They love to ruff house and are good with other animals. It is very important that they are both adopted together.

Story
This little cutie was given to us by an old roommate who couldn't take her with her when she moved out. She's always had major skin issues, I've spent a lot of money and time trying to fix it but it comes back every change of seasons, so it's kind of a hard thing to get rid of, she will most likely have this issue for the duration of her life. According to my roommate, she was a rescue from North Carolina. I'm rehoming her mostly due to the fact that I am moving and am putting my cats up to rehome. Dex has lived with another cat named Tick and a dog for the last 2 years, she's about 3 years old. She's very skiddish, she responds better to women than to men from what I've seen (although it could just be that her original owner, my old roommate, was a woman).

Story
Murphy was originally a desert cat who was about 3 years old when we adopted him from RezDawg Rescue. We have had him for 5 years now, but in recent months, our pet allergies have been getting exponentially worse. He's the most polite and affectionate cat we've ever seen, and we want him to go to a home that will love him as much as we do (just without the wheezing and watery eyes). Murph believes in equality, so any pets he gets will be returned by an equal measure of licks. Rub too far down on his chest, and he'll push your hand away with his paw or gently place his teeth on you. He will sleep with you at night and try to push you out of bed with his head for food in the morning. He needs playtime or he gets a little frisky, but if his needs are met, he's the cutest little guy you'll ever see.

Story
Carl is about 4 years old. We picked him up from the Denver Shelter back in 2022. Like most cats, Carl likes his alone time and naps frequently. Once he is familiar with you he will like to come sit on your lap or near you for pets. Carl doesn’t typically meow too much or beg for food. He is pretty relaxed most of the time. Unfortunately my wife and I don’t want to worry about having cats in the house with our new baby here and so we’re looking for a nice home for Carl.

Story
Meet Lucy! This beautiful girl is a 1-year-old “Tabico”—a perfect blend of Calico and Tabby, with both the looks and personality to match! Lucy is a confident, easy-going, and incredibly sweet cat who absolutely loves people. She’s the kind of companion who will happily curl up beside you and soak up all the love and attention you’re willing to give. 🐾 She does well with other gentle cats and has even lived peacefully with a calm dog. Lucy is also a big fan of window watching —- she can spend hours basking in the sunshine while keeping an eye on birds and squirrels outside. 🐾 She enjoys her scratching post, adores her toys, and is always ready to stretch out on the couch for a cozy evening —- especially if it means being close to you. 🐾 Lucy is spayed, vaccinated and litterbox trained. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will truly bond with you, Lucy is your girl! For more info and/or to apply to adopt Lucy, send us an email at SummitDogRescue@gmail.com, telling us a bit about yourself, your home environment and your lifestyle. A volunteer will get back to you shortly. Thanks.

Story
This is Pickles he’s an orange tabby cat that loves food, pets, and his laser pointer. He loves to get his nails trimmed sitting on your lap but he will always ask for a kitty churru right after. He’s a very talkative cat and will follow you everywhere. He prefers a quiet home but he has grown up with dogs and cats. If you have a newborn or a child who’s younger than 4 years old you won’t see him very much due to him being jealous and wanting all of your attention. I need to find him a new home due to me having a newborn and he deserves all the attention in the world. He needs a new home in 3 weeks.
