Story
Murphy was originally a desert cat who was about 3 years old when we adopted him from RezDawg Rescue. We have had him for 5 years now, but in recent months, our pet allergies have been getting exponentially worse. He's the most polite and affectionate cat we've ever seen, and we want him to go to a home that will love him as much as we do (just without the wheezing and watery eyes). Murph believes in equality, so any pets he gets will be returned by an equal measure of licks. Rub too far down on his chest, and he'll push your hand away with his paw or gently place his teeth on you. He will sleep with you at night and try to push you out of bed with his head for food in the morning. He needs playtime or he gets a little frisky, but if his needs are met, he's the cutest little guy you'll ever see.

Story
He’s a good cat and uniquely smart. He is 2 years old. He’s a big cuddly cat once he gets used to knowing someone. He loves to walk by you and do a small jump and rub on you. He comes to you when you are sitting in the couch and just lays on your legs. He seeks attention when he desires it. He loves snacks and he’s a friendly cat with other cats. We are saddened to let him go and want to keep him but our situation is difficult at the moment. We do want him to have a nice loving home.

Story
Luna and her brother Leo are 2yr old tabbies and were given to us by a friend of the family who was moving and unfortunately not able to bring them with. Our family has enjoyed their company for the last few months but our other cat is having a hard time adjusting to having two new cats around. We would like to find a new loving home for these two sweet cats. Both are very playful, friendly, and love cuddles. Luna is very outgoing and playful. Leo is a bit shy at first, but once he warms up to you he is incredibly sweet. They love to ruff house and are good with other animals. It is very important that they are both adopted together.

Story
This little cutie was given to us by an old roommate who couldn't take her with her when she moved out. She's always had major skin issues, I've spent a lot of money and time trying to fix it but it comes back every change of seasons, so it's kind of a hard thing to get rid of, she will most likely have this issue for the duration of her life. According to my roommate, she was a rescue from North Carolina. I'm rehoming her mostly due to the fact that I am moving and am putting my cats up to rehome. Dex has lived with another cat named Tick and a dog for the last 2 years, she's about 3 years old. She's very skiddish, she responds better to women than to men from what I've seen (although it could just be that her original owner, my old roommate, was a woman).

Story
Joyce has been a loved part of our home for 6 years, but due to life changes we’re no longer able to give her the time and attention she deserves. Our goal is to find her a home where she can truly thrive. She has lived with both cats and dogs. She does well with small dogs and can adjust to larger dogs and cats with time. She’s not very playful, but she’s incredibly affectionate and will always find her way into your lap for snuggles. She loves curling up near your feet at night or lounging on the back of the couch (bonus: she may groom your hair!). Joyce is also quite vocal and will happily remind you when it’s mealtime. She is litter box trained and prefers not fully enclosed boxes. Recently, she has had occasional accidents after being left alone for long periods, which we believe is related to stress or needing more companionship. We feel Joyce would do best in a home where someone is around more often to give her the love and attention she craves.

Story
Meet Lucy! This beautiful girl is a 1-year-old “Tabico”—a perfect blend of Calico and Tabby, with both the looks and personality to match! Lucy is a confident, easy-going, and incredibly sweet cat who absolutely loves people. She’s the kind of companion who will happily curl up beside you and soak up all the love and attention you’re willing to give. 🐾 She does well with other gentle cats and has even lived peacefully with a calm dog. Lucy is also a big fan of window watching —- she can spend hours basking in the sunshine while keeping an eye on birds and squirrels outside. 🐾 She enjoys her scratching post, adores her toys, and is always ready to stretch out on the couch for a cozy evening —- especially if it means being close to you. 🐾 Lucy is spayed, vaccinated and litterbox trained. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will truly bond with you, Lucy is your girl! For more info and/or to apply to adopt Lucy, send us an email at SummitDogRescue@gmail.com, telling us a bit about yourself, your home environment and your lifestyle. A volunteer will get back to you shortly. Thanks.

Story
Are you hiring? This working cat is seeking a job in a rural environment such as a farm, stable, or garden center where they can enjoy the freedom of outdoor life with the safety of a familiar place and a committed caretaker. Working cats span the spectrum of sociability, with some cats quite inexperienced and fearful of people, preferring to work from the shadows, and some cats who will eagerly rub against your boot and join you for your outdoor chores. Some working cats may amaze you with the mouse catching antics and athleticism, and some may be more hands off, discouraging pests with their presence and scent. Looking for a particular personality? Ask our team about finding the right cat for your environment. To set your new farm hand up for success, we recommend setting up a cozy, confined space replete with food, water, and litterbox. After a week or two of enjoying the amenities of their new environment they'll feel much safer staying put and getting to work. Have a big job? Ask our team about cats that may enjoy working in pairs or groups. All working cat adoptions are fee-waived, with spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip, and ear-tip included. Primary Color: Orange Tabby Weight: 9.42 Age: 2yrs 0mths 1wks

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
This cat's life so far has been hard. Living alongside many other cats in an overcrowded home, they missed out on the opportunity to develop the social skills most cats build in early kittenhood, and now finds change and novelty overwhelming. They are seeking a generous family content to offer the time and space they need to find comfort in a new place and routine, and who will appreciate the friendship they can offer, even if it's only flirtatious blinks from across the room and a shadow at the foot of the bed at night rather than a cuddle session on your lap.Where this cat shines is their ability to be companionable with other cats! In the shelter, they have taken comfort in the company of others from their home, and joining a family with a welcoming, outgoing cat friend may be one of the most successful strategies to help them feel comfortable connecting with new people. They have not had exposure to dogs or children and, for their comfort, we suggest not asking them to tackle those new experiences.By adopting this cat, you'll be giving a home to a feline that truly needs someone - you - to be their advocate and unconditional bestie, meeting them where they are. Thank you for considering giving them that chance. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 10 Age: 3yrs 0mths 1wks
