Story
I adopted Scully from a shelter in 2016. She was previously a stray and was estimated to be about a year old, which would make her about 11 years old now. She is a very sweet girl and has been my best friend for the last decade. Scully has a consistent allergy issue and has been to several vets over the years. We are not sure what exactly she is allergic to. It causes her to scratch and lick herself to the point of injury. I keep a cone on her most of the time to prevent this. She use to live with another cat for a few years. It took her a couple days to get use to the new cat but became tolerant and eventually playful with the other cat. She's usually friendly and curious about new people and kids. She loves to go outside in grassy areas on a leash and also enjoys car rides. My reason for rehoming her is that I'm about to be traveling long term and I believe she would be better taken care of in a house or apartment. I am willing to travel to bring her to her new home.

Story
We have had Nova for 10 years. She was our first baby, but we have had dogs, cats and babies added to our family. We are trying to get rid of Nova because we truly think she would be happier in a house with only adults and cats. She likes to be left alone until she asks for love like most cats. She is very verbal and will meow to tell you she wants left alone. But she doesn’t bite or scratch. My family also has allergies and it has been a hindrance for years we have just tried to push through it.
