Story
I adopted Scully from a shelter in 2016. She was previously a stray and was estimated to be about a year old, which would make her about 11 years old now. She is a very sweet girl and has been my best friend for the last decade. Scully has a consistent allergy issue and has been to several vets over the years. We are not sure what exactly she is allergic to. It causes her to scratch and lick herself to the point of injury. I keep a cone on her most of the time to prevent this. She use to live with another cat for a few years. It took her a couple days to get use to the new cat but became tolerant and eventually playful with the other cat. She's usually friendly and curious about new people and kids. She loves to go outside in grassy areas on a leash and also enjoys car rides. My reason for rehoming her is that I'm about to be traveling long term and I believe she would be better taken care of in a house or apartment. I am willing to travel to bring her to her new home.

Story
Jenz is a very anxious cat, likes to hide, he does meow something to the effect of “Hello” when he is ready for attention, home needs to be somewhat quiet, Jenz would need single parent home no other pets or kids. Does take medication for anxiety, for the most part he is low maintenance cat, he does have a little home that he likes to get into and he watches thru the window. Jenz would make a good home to someone who needs a little company/ friend, a non stressful home.

Story
Rocky was born in September of 2024. He is a very energetic, very sweet boy that likes to play and interact as much as possible. He likes jumping as high as possible to the top of his tower. And likes to play fetch. He is very timid with people at first. But also very loving and nurturing. When I adopted him they told me he was close to his brother and really missed him and was very close to him. However after a year, my older lady cat will not take to him at all and there is too much stress between them. He has too much energy for her. He is a very sweet boy that needs a home that is a better fit for him. If needed he has a couple of towers and lots of toys and a litter dome to go with him. He was born in September of 2024. He has a big playful heart and is hoping to find a new home that is as playful and loving as he is.

Story
I found Tigger before his ears popped out at just a couple weeks old, in May of 2025. He was screaming and wiggling in the middle of a KFC parking lot. The next day he was seen by a vet, who showed me how to bottle feed him. He was bottle fed for a month and a half around the clock. Raised with so much love, he deserves to go to a good home and by no means would he survive in the wild now that he's been such a spoiled bottle baby. He's a very affectionate cat once he warms up to you. I just enlisted in the Navy, I'll miss him very much but I know this is what's best for him. As I've been looking into foster homes for my dog so that she can travel overseas and around the world with me, without it being as stressful as it would be for a cat. Thank you for your time

Story
Sweet Jackson climbs into his foster's lap for snuggles, happily dashes all over the house like a fuzzy maniac, then rolls around on the carpet in the hallway, eyes half closed with a happy grin on his face! His foster says he's totally talkative too, getting their attention and chatting with them in his cute, high-pitched mew.... It's so cute, they sometimes call him squeaky! Our vet estimates Jackson to be just over a year old. Included with the adoption is his neuter, all current-due FVRCP, FeLeuk, and rabies vaccinations for kitties over 1-year, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. In addition to being fully vetted, our cats and kittens are highly socialized. We offer a 2-week getting acquainted period and a 2-week wellness guarantee, so you can comfortably settle in with your new kitty! To apply to adopt, please complete an adoption inquiry at www.bluesmews.org so our adoption specialist volunteer can review it and contact you!
