Story
Cleo is 8 years old and full of personality! She can be a little sassy, but is a loyal and loving companion for her person. She will be the first to greet you at the door with a meow. She can be quite talkative. She loves to lay across your chest when you are laying down and will even drool when she is super relaxed and happy. She would be so happy and thankful to be the only pet in the home and not be pestered by children. Please keep in mind she has her front and back claws and will use a scratching post as long as one is available. If you feel led to bring her home, you will always have someone to talk to🥰

Story
If you’re looking for a new best friend who lives life with 110% enthusiasm about everything, makes biscuits at the speed of a commercial bakery, and has a purr as loud as a hybrid engine, Hozier is your guy! Hozier was found with severe injuries that required the amputation of his rear right leg. A subsequent infection of his incision site required another surgery. Through it all, Hozier remained an absolute ray of sunshine and won the hearts of everyone who met him.  Hozier’s quickly learned how much he loves to play! He especially likes toys he can bat to chase and wand toys. Squeeze treats are his favorite. When he takes a moment to relax, he’s a snuggle bug. He loves to cozy up on a lap! Hozier’s met the other cats in his foster home and shows an interest in them. While he occasionally struggles with phantom limb pain and is a little hesitant about jumping, he’s done a fantastic job of adjusting to life as a tripod. This guy really is the entire package and would be an incredible addition to any home. For the quickest response, submit an application here: https://www.pepperspalscatrescue.org/adoptfoster

Story
Paisley is looking for her forever home! She is a very sweet, gentle, quiet young adult cat. She takes a little bit of time to warm up, but once she does, she is very affectionate, purrs a lot, loves rubbing on your legs, and enjoys pets. She also likes sitting on the cat tree looking out the window. She does hide a lot of the time, but that's just what helps her feel safe! She would probably do best in a calmer home. Paisley came to us with stones in her bladder and needed surgery to remove them. She is on a prescription urinary care food and would need to stay on urinary care food for life unless advised otherwise by a veterinarian. Apply to come meet Paisley at www.pepperspalscatrescue.org/adoptfoster for the quickest response!

Story
Sierra is a friendly and playful cat who loves belly rubs and scratches. She gets along well with other cats but is a bit sassy to them at times so would do fine on her own too. She is cuddly but gives love bites when she's overstimulated or has had enough. Sierra's favorite things include dry food, her heating pad, and big stretches! She has been spayed and is up to date on her shots and tests. **Sierra is FIV positive. Her FIV+ status does not mean she cannot be around other cats. She would only be able to give FIV to another cat via a hard bite, so she would need to be introduced slowly and properly to ensure no aggression. Sierra lives with other cats currently with no aggression issues, only a little sass. Sierra is also on prescription gastrointestinal food and will need to stay on this diet unless advised otherwise by a vet. Come meet Sierra! Story
Jade is a particular, older lady who is very vocal and seeks out attention on her own terms. She can be affectionate when she wants to be. She loves to play and enjoys finding places to hide when she’s ready to rest. She came with another cat (Rory) whom she lived with before, but is indifferent towards them so would most likely be okay alone as well. Jade is front-paw declawed (not done by us at Pepper's Pals - we do not declaw). She also has early-stage kidney disease and is on a prescription diet for this. Jade deserves a furever home to live out her golden years! For the fastest response, submit an application here: https://www.pepperspalscatrescue.org/adoptfoster

Story
I adopted Scully from a shelter in 2016. She was previously a stray and was estimated to be about a year old, which would make her about 11 years old now. She is a very sweet girl and has been my best friend for the last decade. Scully has a consistent allergy issue and has been to several vets over the years. We are not sure what exactly she is allergic to. It causes her to scratch and lick herself to the point of injury. I keep a cone on her most of the time to prevent this. She use to live with another cat for a few years. It took her a couple days to get use to the new cat but became tolerant and eventually playful with the other cat. She's usually friendly and curious about new people and kids. She loves to go outside in grassy areas on a leash and also enjoys car rides. My reason for rehoming her is that I'm about to be traveling long term and I believe she would be better taken care of in a house or apartment. I am willing to travel to bring her to her new home.

Story
Tippy is an approximate 2 year old spayed female. She was found as a stray originally and brought home by the finder for a few weeks. It is reported that she is doggy door trained, they didn't have a litterbox inside the home, but would use the bathroom outside. She is reported to not enjoy sharing her personal bubble with other cats. She will not seek out fights with them, just really didn't want to share her personal space with them. She is also reported as a lazy mouser. She could be an indoor only, outdoor only, or barn/shop cat. This pet is already spayed or neutered, so their adoption fee is free. All adopters must bring a cat carrier, otherwise they will need to purchase one from us for $20. All adoptions are first come, first serve. All cats receive at least 1 feline vaccine. Story
Jojo came to us after a major life change. Her owners had a baby, and unfortunately, Jojo was very uncertain of this change. She began having litter box issues that had never occurred before. Her family tried everything, and after 6 long months, they gave up. They were heartbroken to give up their sweet Jojo. Since being in the shelter and being away from the baby, she has had no issues. She kept her kennel clean and used her litter box with no issues. We won't say she isn't good with older children, but we highly advise against toddlers or small children. This pet is already spayed or neutered, so their adoption fee is free. All adopters must bring a cat carrier, otherwise they will need to purchase one from us for $20.
