Story
Phoebe Katz is an incredibly independent feline. She is strictly indoors. Well mannered, asks properly for pets and snacks. Is playful when playtime is initiated, loves churu sticks. Seems to be at her best in a solo cat household. Vocal when she is spoken to and loves watching birds through the front window. Friendly with older kids but probably at her best if it's just her and an adult caretaker. I would love to see her go to a perfect home, sadly that I can no longer provide. She deserves all the love she can get. Hopefully you are the perfect companion for her. Thank you

Story
Kittens born April 7, 2025 to Ms. Mabellyne. Mama is a stray. I've been feeding mom before, during and after pregnancy. Kittens are still nursing but can eat wet food, dry food, and drink water from a bowl. They are ready to rumble and quite animated. They are currently living on my patio. I'm in an apartment so I can't have all these cats in my house. Please consider adopting one of these cuties.

Story
Hi! I’m Tinga. I was adopted from IACS in February. 6 months later my previous owner tried to return me due to landlord fees. The shelter is already overcapacity and requires appointments. I was about to be dumped outside when one of the workers decided to take me home and try to re home me themselves. At first I was at my house, and then I was put in a box, taken back to the scary shelter, and then taken to a random place that I’ve never been before! I was so confused! I hid under the bed for a whole day. I never showed any signs of aggression I was just scared being in this unfamiliar place. But once I came out I let her know how sweet I was and how much I love pets. Now I cuddle and lay on the bed instead of under. She already has two cats and a dog in a one bedroom apartment with low funds. If her situation was different she would love to have me. I am around a year and a half and have lived with another cat in my previous home. I am playful and so nice :)

Story
Say hello to Buddy! Easygoing and Friendly are two words that perfectly describe him. Back in 2019, Buddy was fostered by his current foster mom. He was surrendered back to AOSC through no fault of his own and was adopted. No fault of his own was surrendered a second time in 2024-- he would love to find his FUREVER home. His foster mom has this to say about him: "Before coming back to me as a foster, Buddy was up for adoption at an adoption center, but was terrified at that particular adoption location. As soon as I brought him home, he has been nothing but sweet and affectionate! It has been fun fostering a previous foster of mine! Buddy loves human attention and loves to rub against your legs and be petted. He wants to be wherever YOU are! His foster home has 2 adult cats and he gets along with them very well. His last home he also got along with the other adult cat in the home. Buddy is curious and loves to sit and stare out the window. He LOVES Catnip and his favorite treats are Catnip Temptations! As a matter of fact, his favorite toys are filled with Catnip too! Buddy is a Good-Natured fellow who prefers to keep his space clean, including no bad litter box habits. This Handsome, Affectionate boy will be a great addition to a new family, and hopefully find the forever family that he deserves! Buddy is currently in a foster home. If you feel like he would be the perfect fit for your family, please consider visiting shelbycats.com/adopt to begin the application process!

Story
Meet Sirius, a stunning 10-month-old ebony prince looking for a patient family to help him blossom! This handsome boy, with his sleek black coat and athletic build, is currently on a journey of discovering just how wonderful human companionship can be. Sirius is a sensitive soul who's been closely bonded with his sister Graysie and their mom Dahlia.
