Story
Hello, I am looking for a new home for my sweet girl. She is 10 years old and is a great cat to have. I have to move and unfortunately cannot bring her along… she may take time to get comfortable so she could possibly be temperamental, but once she is she is very sweet! She is amazing if you’re looking for a kitty who is a very good lounger and isn’t very needy, doesn’t mean she doesn’t love attention and pets though!

These cats are in Council Bluffs, Iowa too!

Story
Roman (b 5/2017) a Domestic Shorthair.  Roman is looking for a special home because he is a special cat.  He is diabetic, so he needs a special diet and two insulin shots every day.  We can teach you how to give insulin, it's not too difficult! Roman is a calm, cuddly cat who loves belly rubs.  He is very affectionate.  He gets along with calm dogs but we are not sure about other cats or children.  Does Roman sound like the perfect cat for you? The suggested adoption donation for Roman is $65, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavioral problems (not obedience training). Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization meaning that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. We are a 100% volunteer rescue committed to giving animals a second chance at life. All donations go toward that mission. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals.  In 2022 alone, we provided animal Healthcare totaling over $300,000 covered mainly through adoption fees. Information about the adoption process: All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application has completed our prescreen steps, we will put you in touch with the animal’s foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the animal. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks, and a Home Visit (Virtual in some cases)  during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each animal, based on the animal’s needs. If you and the animal are not a good match, we will help you select another animal, or we will keep your approved application on file for 6 months. Story
Honey is a Tabby Tort (Tabby/Tortoiseshell), born approximately December 2023.  Honey loves her humans, but is also perfectly content in her independence as the queen of her castle.  She would probably be okay with older kids (age 10+), but she does NOT get along with other cats or dogs. She needs a home where she can be the queen.  Honey loves to play with puff balls batting them around, lasers, lounging in her "cat house", or playing in her cat tree.  She is altered, up-to-date on all vaccines and litter trained.  Help us find sweet Honey her furever home - apply today! The suggested adoption donation for Honey is $75, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavioral problems (not obedience training).  Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization meaning that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE.
