Story
We caught a ferral/stray tabby kitten. We think she is about 3-4 months old. We kept her and have socialized her. We have been able to hold her and cuddle her and get her purring. She is so cute! Unfortunately, i am allergic to cats and didn’t know it and my father in law is deathly allergic to cats and didn’t know that either. We have put a lot of rime and effort in to getting her where she is now. she has not had a well check or vaccines yet. She has just been socialized. She does still hiss once in a while, but no swatting or biting or scratching. She is deffinitely playful and loving. She needs a good home to go to. She will need to go to the vet for her first time. She is sold as is. No guarantees or returns. She comes with a cat carrier, litter box and litter, cat food and kitten toys.

Story
Fat boy is 1 yr and 3 months. We currently have a blue nose pit and 5 other cats which are his parents and siblings and he gets along with everyone except his father now. Fat boy loves attention and loves rubbing and laying with our dog Titus. He would be happier in a home without male cats. I think he is wonderful and would give another family happiness lots of love

Story
Boba is a sweet cat. He does well with our other cat as well. He has been stressed ever since we had our 2 children. He does pretty good with older children but young kids are too much for him. We want him to find a new home that is more relaxed so he can thrive.

Eydie - Grey Tabby, DSH, Female, DOB 6/8/23 Check my siblings Babs, Liza From the foster: Eydie is a super sweet girl, playful, very loving, loves belly rubs but will be shy up front. She would be a great only cat in a quiet house but also wouldn’t mind children and other cats. She has not been around dogs, so a non-prey dog and the proper introduction will work for her. Story
Honey is a Tabby Tort (Tabby/Tortoiseshell), born approximately December 2023.  Honey loves her humans, but is also perfectly content in her independence as the queen of her castle.  She would probably be okay with older kids (age 10+), but she does NOT get along with other cats or dogs. She needs a home where she can be the queen.  Honey loves to play with puff balls batting them around, lasers, lounging in her "cat house", or playing in her cat tree.  She is altered, up-to-date on all vaccines and litter trained.  Help us find sweet Honey her furever home - apply today! The suggested adoption donation for Honey is $75, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavioral problems (not obedience training).  Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization meaning that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. We are a 100% volunteer rescue committed to giving animals a second chance at life. All donations go toward that mission. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. In 2022 alone, we provided animal Healthcare totaling over $399,000 covered mainly through adoption fees. Information about the adoption process: All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application has completed our prescreen steps, we will put you in touch with the animal’s foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the animal. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks, and a Home Visit (Virtual in some cases) during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each animal, based on the animal’s needs. If you and the animal are not a good match, we will help you select another animal, or we will keep your approved application on file for 6 months. Story
This is Bug, a senior sweetie.  He was taken in as a stray, so we're not sure of his age, but he is older.  He is extremely sweet and docile.  He's been around other cats - he was very calm and respectful of their space.  He did not show any aggressive behaviors.  Bug loves snuggles and pets.  He's very trusting of new people.  He always uses the litter box. Bug is super-super sweet and deserves to be with people who will love and care for him.  We're not completely sure of his prior situation, but it's clear he loves to soak up all the human attention he can get.  If you're looking for a friendly cat that is house trained and you have time to provide quality time for snuggles, Bug might be the one for you.   The perfect home for Bug would be with people who will give him lots of love.  He was malnourished when he was found, but he has gained some weight and seems to be at a healthy weight now.  Bug is currently getting ear drops for an ear infection.  He might need to have some dental work, so potential adopters should be aware of that.  Bug is FIV positive which means he has a weaker immune system.   The suggested adoption donation for Bug is $85, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavioral problems (not obedience training). Please Note:  A Courtesy Post designates that an animal is still in the home of its owner and not in a Muddy Paws foster. This means that our exposure to the animal is limited since we are only assisting the owner in finding a new home for their pet. From time to time, owners find a new furever home for their pets outside of Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue and there is a delay in removing them from our site. We apologize if the Courtesy Post you apply to adopt is unavailable for adoption. Information about the adoption process:  All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application has completed our prescreen steps, we will put you in touch with the animal’s foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. Story
Meet this outgoing girl with a big personality! Because she is front-declawed, she has learned to use her mouth as her way of communicating when she is feeling uncomfortable or needs some space. She would do best with someone who is patient, attentive to her body language, and respectful of her boundaries. A kid-free home would be ideal, along with plenty of toys, enrichment, climbing opportunities, and interactive play to keep her happy and engaged. With the right environment and someone who understands her unique communication style, she can be a loving, entertaining companion.
