Story
Mayo (mayonesa) is a sweet, cuddly cat! She has grown up in our house with dogs, another cat and children. Though she can take a bit of time to get comfortable, once she's confident she is quite the cuddler. She has no behavioral issues, gets along well with our dogs, often bugging them for some attention. Unfortunately we need to find a new home for her because our older cat is being a bit aggressive toward her. Mayo's behavior is perfectly fine and she gets into no trouble. Unfortunately we are choosing to let her go because we have had our older cat for years longer and he would be more difficult to re-home.

Story
Bitbit is a most amazing boy, he is my heart. He is 12 years old but suffers from FIC. I have been working with a vet for a year and things are not getting any better. He is on anti-anxiety meds and Gabapentin but is still urinating outside of liter box but also uses the liter box daily . He's a good boy who is happy and healthy besides the FIC. If you talk to him, he will talk back. He loves to snuggle next to you, not on you, & does not like to be held tooo long if you pick him up for hugs and kisses. He loves to sleep with you, but likes his own spot in the bed. He is not at all shy about stepping on you to get to his spot on the bed.

Meet Garfield, my super loving and affectionate kitty who's always been the highlight of my days. I got him from a family friend back in 2023 when he was just a tiny kitten, and now he's about 3 years old. Garfield loves cuddling on the couch and basically turns into a little purr machine whenever he's getting attention. He's looking for a chill apartment with someone who's home a lot so he can get plenty of snuggles and lap time. If you're a loving person ready for a loyal kitty companion, Garfield would be so happy to join your crew!

Meet Soup! She is an 8 year old sweetheart who loves to snuggle and hangout. She is very calm natured, but loves to play with a laser pointer and some cute cat toys. She’s charming and comes off shy, but she is so full of love. She was adopted from a shelter previously, but an older resident cat and her make each other uncomfortable, but she does get along with other cats. She’s had quite the journey already and deserves the right person to be her forever home as she just wants to love and be loved. She has no health issues and is up to date on all of her shots and vaccinations.

Mett Flory! Flory was born to an abandoned mom cat in August 2024. This quiet, brown tabby female is friendly with trusted folks, avoidant of strangers, and is affectionate on her terms. She watches for you at the window, greets you at the door, ankle rubs, and follows you. At this stage she doesn’t want to be held or stay in your lap. She enjoys brushing and likes to sit in front of you, watching you. She is treat motivated, Flory plays with cat toys by herself and interactive ones with you. She enjoys watching wildlife out the window. She has met kids and finds them too busy and active, so she hides. Flory would enjoy another cat for a companion after proper introductions. She needs a patient adopter willing to build her trust. She has fine litterbox habits and uses a scratching post. Siblings are available. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/ If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Calicos and Siamese are $250+tx. Sunshine, a male orange tabby was born around April 2020. He was found by a resident and turned into the Rescue. He occasionally talks at meal times. Sunny hasn’t met dogs or kids under age eight. With proper introductions he gets along with most cats and he’d enjoy another cat for a pal. The foster mom says he is sweet, smart, friendly with known people, and affectionate on his terms. Sunny is shy/avoidant of strangers. At this stage, he is uncomfortable being picked up. Sunny likes playing with interactive wand toys and watching birds at the window. Story
Korra is an extremely affectionate cat and purrs very loudly when she is being pet! She loves to explore and has the nickname Korra the explorer. She is a terrible hunter, but it is rewarding to watch her try! She is 3 years old. Why we want to re-home her: she does not get along with our other cat. He likes to play and she does not like roughhousing. I'm confident this stresses her out a ton. We try to play with both of them as much as we can to tucker our other cat out, but we can't always do so. I used to be home more often, but now that I'm not, she is starting to act out and will pee out of her litterbox. She doesn't always do it, but we strongly believe it's her way of telling us she's stressed out. She's not mean at dogs or kids (hisses, does not bite) , but they do stress her out and she will hide until they are gone. With being young adults with a family in our future, we don't think we are the right fit for her. She is a loveable cat that just needs a chill home!
