Because of this non-recognition aggression, he will physically attack her, meaning a completely pet-free household is a requirement for the animal's safety. About 3 years ago my husband bought what he was told was a 4 month old male cat, from a lady who resided in Minneapolis. We took the cat to the vet & found that the cat was actually female, so we had her spayed & renamed her Biscuit. Biscuit is 3 years & 4 months old, she is a grey tabby. She is very sweet, loves to cuddle with her humans (a lap fur-baby) & loves to be rubbed. She loves sitting in the window, laying in the sun & napping! We are looking to rehome Biscuit because we had a male cat that we got just before we got Biscuit. In the beginning the two of them got along, pretty well. However, recently we had to take in our daughters cat, who is also male and Biscuit cannot get along with the new male cat or our older male cat any more. So, it’s been a really hard decision, but we’ve decided we need to rehome her, in a place that loves cats & will treat her well, but preferably has no other cats. (Does better being by herself). She is well behaved & up to date on all shots.

Chubby tabby, his owner went to a nursing home and cannot care for him. We expected the owner to return to his home and his cat, but, he will not be able to do that.Nemo had never scratched or bitten anybody, he enjoys a little bit of cuddling, but, is very independent. He does not get along with our elderly cat, but, she has never gotten along with any other cats, this may be her fault. He enjoys the company of our elderly hunting dog, they actually get along well. He also got along with a different dog that he used to live with. Nemo loves to have a couple cat treats several times a day, and is very insistent on being fed every morning. He could use being put on a diet, but, he has always been chubby. 30 pounds. He likes being combed, and is terrified to be outside, totally an indoor kitty.He comes with a large litter box, and a carrier that is big enough for him.

Sunshine, a male orange tabby was born around April 2020. He was found by a resident and turned into the Rescue. He occasionally talks at meal times. Sunny hasn’t met dogs or kids under age eight. With proper introductions he gets along with most cats and he’d enjoy another cat for a pal. The foster mom says he is sweet, smart, friendly with known people, and affectionate on his terms. Sunny is shy/avoidant of strangers. At this stage, he is uncomfortable being picked up. Sunny likes playing with interactive wand toys and watching birds at the window. He has fine litterbox habits and uses a scratching post. Are you the patient person willing to give him time to trust and blossom in a new setting and you be rewarded with a special relationship with him? This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Calicos and Siamese are $250+tx. Geneva, the sweetest little girl who was just waiting for someone to see her. When Geneva first came into rescue, she was skin and bones, struggling to thrive as part of a community cat colony where resources were limited. But the moment she was given the chance at indoor life, something beautiful happened: Geneva discovered that people were her favorite thing. It almost feels like she was asking to be rescued. Pick her up and she turns into a complete limp noodle—purring, melting into your arms, and making the sweetest little air biscuits. Once she knows she’s safe with you, she’ll curl up on your chest and happily soak in your pets for hours. And when she’s feeling brave, she’ll sneak over and settle into your lap all on her own.
