Story
Lucky and Max are a pair of sweet, well‑behaved sister cats who have spent their entire lives—about 10 years—being deeply loved and cared for by my mother‑in‑law since they were kittens. They are gentle lap cats who adore snuggles, daily treats, and playing with their toys and catnip. Losing their longtime caregiver in December has left them without anyone in the family able to take them in, and it’s important to us that they find a home where they can feel safe and cherished again. Lucky and Max are looking for a loving family who will welcome them together and give them the affection, comfort, and companionship they’ve always known.

Story
Tippy was adopted from the Humane Society in July 2025 and is 7 years old. She is a very sweet and gentle cat. She dislikes being held and having her belly rubbed, but she will immediately crawl into your lap for pets and snuggles the second you sit down. She loves to play, has a lot of energy, and is super funny when she gets the zoomies. She is great with small kids but does not get along with dogs. Unfortunately we were not told about her dental needs upon adoption and we are not in a good financial place to pay for a dental trip at the moment, but she is in dire need of having at least one tooth removed and a cleaning. Tippy has a problem with leaking urine while she sleeps. She was checked for a UTI and it was negative. I havent been able to figure out how to stop it from happening. We never find it on the floor and she doesnt spray. She needs an experienced adopter who does not have a problem with her leaking urine while she sleeps. It is definitely not behavioral in any way.

Story
Meet Sol, a handsome gentleman with a permanent "grumpy" face that belies his affectionate nature. Sol is the ultimate sun-seeker who spends his days napping and his nights embracing his adventurous side. He is a wonderful companion for remote workers, happily curling up on a lap for hours. When evening falls, he loves patrolling the outdoors; he is a dedicated hunter who takes great pride in keeping the premises mouse-free, often leaving "gifts" to show off his hard work. Sol has been a part of our family since 2019, but as he’s grown, he has become very territorial. While he was once close with his brother, he now requires a single-cat household to feel truly at peace. It is important to note that Sol is wonderful with people and even coexists fine with our dog—he simply needs to be the only feline king of his castle. We are looking for a home that can offer him a similar balance of indoor cuddles and safe outdoor access where he can thrive as an only pet.

Story
Nutmeg is a good cat, we are looking to re-home her as we just inherited a dog that requires a lot of training and attention. She is very sweet and a little sassy. Good with other cats and dogs. She took a very keen liking to my German shorthaired pointer, who she would follow around the house a nuzzle him and make biscuits on him when he would be laying down. She is very affectionate and loves to be petted and sit on your lap. Not a huge fan of being picked up and she loves to vocalize her opinion. She tends to be a little shy when guests are over, but always excited and happy to see me or my wife when we get home. When she’s not playing or birdwatching out the window, she likes to curl up in a ball on the couch or ideally someone’s lap. Nutmeg (We call her Meg for short) deserves a loving home where she gets the attention she deserves

Story
Charlotte! 8 years old. A sweet lady who purrs like a lawnmower and loves a cuddle. She loves to sleep in bed, sometimes by your feet or she’ll cozy up right by your head. She loves to lay on her back and show you her tummy. She always greets everyone at the door and says hello (hoping for some head scratches upon arrival). Charlotte is on the hunt for a family after a house fire destroyed her old home. They moved to an apartment but she was stressed living in such close quarters with other dogs and cats. Charlotte does very well as an only pet and would prefer to stay that way. She has declawed front paws. Charlotte used to free feed but has switched to an automatic feeder and is working on losing a little weight so she stays happy and healthy. (Currently in a foster home).

Story
This cute boy is in need of a new home. I’ve had Simba for about 2 weeks after adopting him from a previous family and he’s in need of someone who has more free space and possibly children. He’s a very sweet boy who loves to be pet and cuddled. I personally work long 12hr shifts and feel that I can’t give him the attention he requires. Rehoming immediately if possible.

Story
Meet Van Gaugh 🎨 A Quiet Soul with a Heart Worth Waiting For Introducing Van Gaugh, a strikingly handsome grey cat with soulful eyes and a gentle, shy nature. Just like the artist he’s named after, Van Gaugh is a bit of a mystery at first—but with time, patience, and love, his true colors begin to shine. Van Gaugh is naturally timid and takes a while to feel safe in new spaces or with new people. But once he trusts you, you'll see just how endearing and sweet he really is—soft purrs, slow blinks, and quiet companionship are his way of saying “thank you” for your kindness. He would do best in a calm, quiet home where he can come out of his shell at his own pace. A patient, understanding adopter will be rewarded with a loyal and gentle friend for life. Van Gaugh is also FIV positive, which simply means his immune system needs a little extra care. FIV cats can live long, happy lives and can even live with other friendly cats as long as there's no serious fighting. He’s neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and litter trained—now all he needs is a safe haven where he can finally exhale and just be. If you believe love is worth a little patience, Van Gaugh is ready to paint a quiet masterpiece in your heart. 💙🐾 www.fureverhomeresue.com

Meet Coral – A Shy Sweetheart Ready to Bloom Coral is a gentle, soft-hearted girl with a quiet presence and a lot of love to give. She may be a little shy at first, but with patience, kindness, and a calm environment, she slowly opens up—and when she does, you'll see just how sweet and affectionate she truly is. Coral enjoys cozy spots to curl up in, gentle pets, and the peaceful company of someone who understands that trust takes time. If you have a calm home and a heart for helping a shy kitty blossom, Coral might be the perfect companion for you. Story
Meet Julieta – A Quiet Momma with a Big Heart Julieta is a beautiful, independent soul who’s spent much of her life caring for others. She came to the rescue with a litter of kittens that looked just like her—and even stepped in as a loving surrogate mom to another litter in need. Her nurturing spirit is undeniable. Now it’s Julieta’s turn to be cared for. She’s a reserved girl who values her space and tends to keep to herself, but she’s slowly learning that human affection can be a good thing. She’s especially fond of gentle cheek and chin scratches—those are her favorite! While she’s still working on building trust, she has so much quiet love to give once she feels safe. Julieta can be a little “hangry” when mealtime takes too long—she might give you a playful nip to remind you who’s boss—but it’s all part of her charming, sassy personality. She would be happy to share her home with other respectful kitties and would thrive in a calm, patient environment where she can grow at her own pace. If you believe in second chances and the beauty of earning a shy cat’s trust, Julieta might just be the perfect companion for you. https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FEHR/Cat I live at the Sanctuary.
