Lucy is around 4 years old, has been altered and declawed. She loves to be alone, either sitting in a window or sleeping in a hiding spot only she knows about. She was rescued as a feral when she was a kitten lurking on my mother-in-law's back porch, just as her brother from another litter was. Tigger is also up for adoption and is shown in the 3rd picture with Lucy. As my mother-in-law had done for many years and 20+ cats, she took Lucy in and loved her. Sadly, she passed away in November. In her honor we agreed to foster Lucy and Tigger until we could find a suitable home or homes for them. We have been busy with other things in life and have not had a chance to really focus on this, but now is the time. We already have two cats of our own but they are not as welcoming as I am. If you are interested in Lucy (or in both Lucy and Tigger), please reach out.

He’s known for his silly “zoomies,” especially in the mornings , where he’ll run, jump, and entertain you with his playful personality. After he gets his energy out, he’s calm, relaxed, and ready to soak up love and attention.

🐾 **Looking for the Perfect Home for Lucy** 🐾 This is incredibly hard for our family to write, but we are looking for a loving new home for our sweet cat, Lucy. Lucy is a 7-year-old female orange tabby with a gentle soul and a special story. She lived with my dad after my mom passed, alongside his dog, and was a wonderful companion to him. After my dad passed away in October, we brought Lucy into our home to keep her in the family. Unfortunately, we recently learned that our 4-year-old son has a severe allergy to cats, and despite trying to make it work, we’ve made the difficult decision that rehoming Lucy is what’s best for both her and our family. Lucy can be a little shy at first, but once she warms up, she is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loves attention. She enjoys being near her people and will happily soak up all the love you can give her. She also has a unique little detail—her tail was amputated when she was a kitten after an accident, but it doesn’t slow her down

If you are looking for cats who would lay on your lap and watch some TV and love head and belly rubs, Qand & Barq are the perfect cats! We adopted two tabby cats, Qand with her brother Barq, they are from the same litter. They have been together and are very comfortable with each other. They are 3 years old. We are hoping to find a home that could give Qand and Barq love, time and compassion. They are kind and gentle. They love to be around people and love their owners. Qand is curious, caring and loves a warm lap. Barq is a softie, kind and just loving. Her and her brother are also quite social with any family and guests. They always welcomes guests and love attention from them. They are loving and caring and we are so grateful for the 3 years we were able to share with them. Qand has been with her brother so we’d like them to stay together. They are healthy active cats and we are also open to let them keep their cat tree, water fountain, cat leashes, and any toys we have.

Sugar is a very shy cat and she takes some warming up to get close with people. She has boundaries and she will let you know ,, but if you are patient and you let her come to you on her terms , she is the sweetest girl you will ever meet. She gets along very well with my big playful dog buddy , and she loves cuddling my other cat Zack. If you are looking for a pair of furry friends, those two get along great. She is house trained and she likes to play and hunt her toys sneakily. She has always been a joy to have around , and she is a great cuddler once you let her get comfy around you. I am going to be leaving the state later this year and my cats wont be able to come with me so they will need a new loving home as soon as possible. It is very important to me that they find somewhere they will be treated with kindness and get the proper care and attention a cat deserves.

The shelter is a big, noisy place, and I’m still trying to figure it all out, so I spend a lot of my time hiding and watching from a safe spot. I’m very shy right now — the kind of shy that makes me freeze when people walk by and tuck myself into the coziest corner I can find. But I’m not mean at all… just scared. When someone sits quietly with me and lets me come to them, I start to relax. Soft voices and slow movements help me realize everything is okay.
