Story
Sweet and cuddly cat. She was raised indoors and seems to be mostly content with being indoors, though she's been outside some. Great with kids, dogs, and people! She was my grandmothers cat so I want to find her a loving home. We don't have a good spot for a litter box in our small home and are finding it hard to have a cat and 3 young kids.

These cats are in Santa Fe, New Mexico too!

Story
HISTORY: MR. GRAY was brought to F&F when his owner could no longer care for him and is FIV+. However, as is typical with many FIV+ cats, this cat has no symptoms, is expected to be in good health and expected to live a normal lifespan. While conventional thinking is to only place an FIV+ cat in a home with no other cats or with another FIV+ cat, there are many “mixed households.” According to Cornell University, the primary mode of Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) transmission is through repeated fights resulting in the exchange of blood, and it poses no threat to humans or other species.   TEMPERAMENT: MR. GRAY is a quiet baby who loves love. He enjoys chin scratches and his warm bed. He is sure to make the sweetest companion. Mr. Gray is certainly a lap cat, and will snuggle all day. He may enjoy a home with a catio. AGE:   born approx. 7/24/20 MICROCHIP #: -3611 DATE OF STERILIZATION: neutered, date unknown VAX RECORD:  FVRCP #1: 4/6/26, FVRCP #2: pending; FVRCP expires: pending; Rabies expires: 3/30/29  FELV/FIV test:  7/24/23 FIV+, FELV- ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: If you would like to consider MR. GRAY for adoption but need more information on FIV, educational materials can be requested by emailing adoptions@fandfnm.org.  ADOPTION FEE: $100  If you may be interested in adopting, please complete our online application: https://www.fandfnm.org/application. HISTORY: CHEZ and CAZ were surrendered to F&F in 2025. CAZ was adopted but later returned when his owner could no longer care for him.  TEMPERAMENT: Caz is a big boy who loves to help you stay warm. You can turn down your thermostat this winter with the original heater cat on your lap, while his giant purr and habit of looking at you with his big green eyes will warm your very heart and soul.
